what are you talking about. 36% f D's felt extreme felt extremely or very proud. then you add in those that only felt proud. they are unaccounted for by the numbers presented on the graph. step away from the pipe. -
We started talking about fair share. Now you are pivoting to increasing tax rates for the wealthy, along with taxing their wealth? Pick one, if you'd like, and I'm happy to discuss that with you. But when you're a fart in a frying pan, it's really difficult. Our tax system is a graduated one, where if you earn more, you pay a higher %. Additionally, as you earn more, most deductions are phased out so you don't even get those. Following is a link to the Tax Foundations most recent analysis. It's got some interesting data for you to consider. It supports the fact that most of the taxes are paid by the wealthy AND at a higher effective rate. LINK

Who is on the Mt. Rushmore of Bills Special Teams
Another Fan replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I will always say in my lifetime Steve Christie made the biggest key play in Bills history when he recovered the onside kick in The Comeback. That was the turning point where that game really turned. And yeah he was a darn good kicker too. It's a no brainer for the OP's final special teamer. -
isn't the question better phrased , " does the organization consider the player a QB a Franchise sort " ? Lawrence came to mind for me. As we fans we are subjective to the question. What does the Team think ? Did they invest ?

It’s not about picking a magic number like 70% of the total tax burden that stat just reflects how much income the top 10% already control. What actually matters is the effective rate they pay on their income and wealth. Right now, billionaires can pay 3% while a teacher pays 13%. So no I don’t want them paying 100% of the tax burden. I want them paying at least the same effective rate as the people who don’t own private jets. That’s called fairness, not fantasy.

Training camp schedule & ticket info released!
thenorthremembers replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is plenty of room to accommodate everyone looking for a couple tickets. The issue is greedy people using multiple emails to source tickets and then sell the tickets they got for free on the secondary market. Stubhub already has listings for individual tickets for $70 dollars a piece. -
Good to see you posting again, been awhile. I am not sure what Miami is doing except finding a trade partner for a very unhappy Ramsey. Minkah had a heck of a run . Is he done ? not sure But he is back home in Fla This trade is worth following into the season. Getting Smith should be a big + for Steelers. Should be ...

I inadvertently caught her at a bluegrass festival one time and she started off by walking onto a stage with no fanfare, accompanied by only one guy carrying a single drum and she then proceeded to rip my soul right out of my chest while I stood there like this: 😯 An unreal level of presence and power when she's standing right in front of you.

Who is the worst franchise QB in the NFL?
Playoffs? replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Last year would’ve been Daniel Jones for sure. While Tua is a decent player, and he fits the system well, the poor guy could be one hit away from literally being done with the game. For that reason, he gets my vote based on the potential that he won’t be able to carry the franchise too long. Probably a bad reason.. -
It’s true the top earners pay a big slice of total taxes but that’s partly because they earn so much of the country’s income. But you're clearly not getting it. The real question is what percentage of their income they actually pay compared to everyone else. When billionaires pay a lower effective rate than middle-class workers, despite making hundreds of millions or billions, that’s where fairness breaks down. It’s about closing loopholes and ensuring the tax system isn’t rigged to favor the ultra-rich. That's why the rich spend so much money buying politicians, right? The line that “the rich already pay their fair share” gets pushed by millionaire class influencers and media because their billionaire owners benefit from a rigged system. It’s not about fairness; it’s about protecting a status quo that works for them, not for the rest of us.
