I totally disagree. I thought Samuels added juice at the end of last season that I dont see Shavers adding. I love shavers and am happy to add him as WR6. However, in no world do i want him on the field over Samuels if both are healthy. I get its frusturating that he cant stay healthy but they are likely saving him for when it counts. To me roster decisions should be about play on the field (where Samuels >> Shavers) and contract decisions is where health enters the equation (wouldnt be surprised if shavers gets a tender next year and samuels is cut)

I think Samuel will need to go, older can't stay healthy. Beane is going to have to get someone else in here. -

You guys are panicking like the Bills play a meaningful game on Sunday. There are still more than 4 weeks until they do that. -

Fully agree. As soon as the money part makes sense, he's got to go. -
Out of 17 positions in the nfl, RBs are paid 13th out of 17th on the total average contracts. (Factoring in the top contracts and the low ones) Only Above kicker, punter, fullback and long snapper. GMs would agree with me that for the most part, they don't move the needle. If they did, their contracts would reflect that.

You're wrong. There's an actress Liv Ullman and then there is Maria Schriever (one of the Kennedy family who was married to Arnold Schwarzenegger). Perhaps you're thinking of one of them.

Exactly. To @Einstein's point, one of my favotite HK moments was during the Browns season. Douglas had Gregggg Williams and Todd Haley as Coordinators, and it was OBVIOUS they both took the job just for the potential that Douglas would be fired and they would have a chance to be interim HC. Coaches meetings with those 2 just circling Douglas like a couple of sharks...

This is exactly why an indoor stadium doesn't work for Buffalo. Think about it - in the case of a Super Bowl, you have 50k plus people with enough money to buy a ticket in the same metro area. This crowd will have a few ham and eggers that are fans of the team, but the vast majority will be VIPs and the wealthy. People with that kind of money are not staying at the Hampton Inn in East Aurora or even the Hyatt in downtown, which is in desperate need of some kind of refurbishment. About the only hotel on the US side of the border that fits the bill is the Marriott. That covers what, 200 rooms? That's barely enough for the two teams playing along with NFL personnel. Crossing the border, especially in this climate, is not going to be something the league deems acceptable. Even if that was allowed, that opens up a few hotels in the Marriott's category on the Canadian side of the falls. Not nearly enough to host the largest TV spectacle of the year.

Well at least Samuel can run in straight lines now 🙄 We can’t cut or trade him but we sure as hell can leave his ass off the active roster on game days (assuming we can’t justify IR). Only seven months until we can cut bait. What a waste!

Easily my favorite personality on the Bills. I love it when players make rooting for them so easy. I really hope we can get this man a ring.
-
This would be the difficulty when Hard Knocks covers a really solid team like the Bills. The HC, GM, QB and leadership of the team are all bought in and the whole system runs smooth.

He very obviously has brain damage. ESPN took advantage of the situation.
