Wasn't it same last year? 4 primetime games within first 6 weeks? Agreed it sucks for us, but it is what it is.
-
I agree somewhat. We’ve also witnessed many mediocre TEs get separation against the Bills, most every game

I'm not sure there is a lot less unknown factor this year? We thought we knew what Samuel was. He wasn't that. There was more hype about Coleman from the Bills than any Bills rookie since Allen. Some of that specialty merchandise they made to cash in on the hype is still on the shelf at Wegmans and stores in the mall. The unknown with Coleman, as it is with many hyped rookie WR, was would he be WR1 by the end of the season or not. He wasn't. He was struggling mightily while a guy like Worthy was blowing up at the end of the year. So there is a lot of unknown where he goes from there. I still like his potential but there should be no feeling of certainty there. Ultimately the mistake though is thinking that the aggregate of 5 receivers even matters all that much when judging the group as a whole. It's a matchup league. How do the players on the field matchup with the opponents defenders. If your 5th WR is better than another contenders 5th CB that only matters if that is the matchup. It's nice to have depth but much more important to have better players in your starting lineup.

Derrick Henry gets 2 year $30m Dollar Extension ($25m guaranteed).

We can hope... 🤞 -
The only thing that makes me a little skeptical about this schedule is the week of their bye. They play on Monday Night then basically just have 5 days off before starting up a new “work week”. I wonder if the CBA calls for a full 7 days off for a bye week? Plus, that Falcons game, if it is indeed a Monday Night game, would be October 13th….not the 12th like it is listed as. I honestly don’t know.

I don't like starting the season against Baltimore, especially since we have those defensive players suspended. They would have helped, I think. Oh well. And facing Cincy so late means they'll be playing well by then.

If he's not playing for the bengals under that contract, i doubt he's playing with anyone else. You'd have to at least offer him a raise on the 1yr 16M deal you'd be acquiring, maybe with a guarantee not to tag included. But most acquiring teams would probably extend him so that they could reduce that cap hit for 2025. Unless it's the jets... see Hasaan Reddick 🙂

Don’t be so sure, nobody gave Indiana a shot vs Cleveland in the NBA this year and they spanked them in 5 games, in the NFL it’s who’s better for that particular 60 minutes. -
Eh seperation is a bit different in the NFL than college. It's more about giving a QB windows. You don't see all that much seperation in this league

I agree but when you look at Cinci's Owner, you have to ask: is he more poor or more desperate LOL they should know they aint competing with us in the next 2 years... get what they can where they can get it -

I’m sure if they decide to trade him, they will let the other side work out a deal with him, they’re only costing themselves return if they don’t. He’s worth a 4th as a rental, but if he refuses to play on that deal anyway, there’s got to be a negotiation w the next team. -
If he wants to play like a WR then he needs to work on his freakin' release moves because he can't release like a WR
-
Josh will start to keep his iron man streak alive for the first play lol

Nobody is trading for him without permission to talk to his agent about a contract. Theyre going to want a long term extension somewhere... but if they cant get it. The next best for Trey/Agent is playing out his last year in another uniform.... that's going to hurt Bengals bounty. 1year rental, 31 or 30yrs old, high cap hit even just to play out the year. He's def worth a 4th IMO, might be a few offers for a 3rd rd'er if teams think theyll get a fair shake at negotiating first in offseason. -
These are all great questions and part of the current Kincaid enigma? I really didn't expect Josh to have chemistry issues with Dalton 2 years in. I think Dalton's flaws are a reflection of our entire receiving corp. We're not getting enough separation on questionable routes. Regardless, year 3 will be the most important in Kincaid's career.

Smart teams pay for future performance, not past performance, imo. -
Did it? Henry contributed 124+ ypg for Baltimore last year - 113 Y/G rushing and another 11.4 receiving yards. Almost half those yards were after contact. Played 17 games and....only 57% of the snaps!!!! Add in 270 yds in the playoffs He's a beast, and stopping him must have kept DCs up at night. Bills called it good, to limit him to 84 yds in the playoffs. I don't mean to dunk on Cook. He's a fine player. But apparently part of his team's argument for why he should become one of the highest paid backs in the NFL is that he's capable of being a 3-down player, but the Bills are limiting his touches to <50% of the snaps, causing him to only rush for 63 ypg vs what he could theoretically contribute if he were allowed to be the 3 down player he's capable of being. When you look at Henry's contributions almost 2x the yards with only ~15% more snaps, that argument kind of gets shredded...like the defenses Henry runs over

I don't, but my wife does. When she's done cleaning the gutters, I'll ask her what model she got herself for her birthday.

Could be all the box jumping trainers have people doing too. I think they could all stand to do some pilates and yoga. -
Anyone who objects to the SA farmers coming into the country are suffering the truest version of TDS. After supporting the 20 million that Biden brought in, who the majority bring no talent or skills we can use, to then object to people who clearly can point to politicians promoting their death, is insane.
