Football is entertainment. The Bills are our favorite past time. Reading message boards is entertainment. Reading the same people b*******g about the same things over and over in every thread isn’t entertaining for anyone except for those that enjoy wallowing in misery. Reading the same people being positive about our team, which just so happens to be rated top 3 (if not #1) by 💯 of the nfl community. If our team wasn’t this good; If there was such thing as a team with zero holes; if there was such a thing as a GM that never makes mistakes….. then I could understand the unrelenting negative posts. When we were in the drought and constant negativity was warranted, I would post about 50/50 positive/negative. But this team is great and it brings me happiness. I understand that teams, GMs and coaches aren’t perfect, that Super Bowls aren’t won in September and that crying and whining about the same things over and over again net zero positive results. If there’s something I don’t like, I mention it once or twice nowadays. Constant negativity has no place on a Buffalo Bills message board in 2025. A overwhelming majority of the fan bases wish they were us. I prefer to enjoy it.

The highlites don't do last night justice. Somebody in the GTD thread said the game was a "glue eating competition". I've never felt anything more in my life. It was almost like Daboll was trying to get fired. That game is so difficult to explain to anybody who didn't watch it live. The next closest thing I can think of is the Colts with Jeff Saturday at the helm.

The defense should get better, much better if no injuries. E Oliver back, Milano back, PED boy Hoecht, Hairston. I also think (hope) they are in the market for a safety to start over Rapp (Bishop is developing and will get better throughout the season). For instance, IMO, Justin Simmons would look good in a Bills uni. Simmons has said he wants to play for a contender. That would be adding 5 impactful players out of 11. That's a huge upgrade.

My favorite goal to go situation inside the 5 is on 1st down run it up the gut. If you get in, cool. If not, on 2 nd down run the same play. If you get it cool. If not, bring in the jumbo package with multiple tight ends. One of them blocks, falls down, and then gets up and sneaks in the EZ. The QB fakes the handoff to the RB up the gut and tosses a nice easy pass to the wide open TE in the EZ. Freakin' LOVE that.

It is not dumb to ask the question. They gave up 40 to the Ravens in a game the Bills did not have a turnover. Dolphins converted 67% of their third downs and many were in long distance. Jets QB is awful. It's the same story for all of McD's tenure. The defense periodically gets destroyed by heavy rushing attacks like Baltimore or go back to 2017 and the Saints 200 yard rushing game. The defense pads the stats against QBs like Fields and probably this week against Rattler. The defense has trouble getting off the field unless the other team makes a mistake just like the Jags and KC in the playoffs, and the Dolphins game with Tua dropping a snap, and twice with illegal man downfield. However, a fair critique of the defense can't omit the frequency with which they create timely turnovers. Credit the defense for the late game stops against the Ravens and the late INT of Tua. Problem is in the playoffs the turnovers disappear. Mahomes has 9 TD passes and zero INTs in the playoffs against Buffalo. What is dumb is to assume the same late season and playoff defensive failures will occur again. There are many new faces on defense and many are young. They may continue to develop and as others have said the PED cheats are soon to be back. Rousseau probably is not going to be this ineffective all season long. Oliver was a beast and does not need to be rushed back. The problem is that young players tend to fade as the season goes on. If they are playing a lot of snaps now, the rookie wall may be quite a problem come January. Maybe this year will be different. Have hope. It's week 4.

Yeah, plus the relatively early bye isn't ideal. It also might be more accurate to say that the Bills' schedule is backloaded rather than outright easy. I mean, we're still playing first-place teams as a division winner from last season, we just happen to play most of them in the back half of the season.
