Similar to Ben Johnson and the Bears There are no excuses for Dak this year. It looks highly likely that they make the playoffs. He has to play well.

Motivation can’t cover Chase. The Bills just aren’t talented enough to stop the Bengals offense. They can probably put up some points vs that defense ( they did look better on D last nite though) but won’t stop the CIN passing game.

This fan base gets so down and disillusioned by any injuries. They have to be able to play ok with some backup linemen. Other teams do all the time. The only injury that will definitively destroy the season is Allen.

And to think there's people who think this game should be no problem. Anybody not seriously concerned about beating Pittsburgh on the road is nuts. Backup tackles are going to affect not only protection but the running game also. There's a reason theyre backups.

Anderson is clearly a good run blocker, but I have no idea how he does in pass pro (or even at tackle in general). Van Demark is ... not so good.

If Brady does have any creativity we’ll get to see it at least. Grable I think

I will be surprised if Allen isn’t injured.

Don’t lump me into the crowd that thought Moore was going to be some impact player here, cuz I’m not. But Moore provided more downfield potential than Samuel does as at least a threats. Instead he was treated like he was McKenzie, and Samuel isn’t being used like he was in Carolina either. In 5 seasons between CAR and WAS when he was starting and healthy, Samuel averaged 796 yards a season. Including as you said his best one with Brady. But we just aren’t using him much either despite Brady’s familiarity with him and his time in the offense. Point was, dividing snaps between Samuel and Moore was stupid, pick one and get them involved more. I don’t even care which one, I just felt Moore had more of a threat downfield at this point than Samuel. I hope they use Cooks now more than Samuel for same reason - but we all know it’s not gonna happen.

How many times over the past 3 or 4 seasons have we faced backup olinemen and watched it not matter. The playoff game to Bengals in particular comes to mind. Brown is a big loss, hope the week off helps Dawkins.

That requires someone being open. The problem is not Allen holding on to the ball too long for fun or for a deep completion. If Kincaid plays, we have a fighting chance

He has been sent just about the strongest message the team can send, short of cutting him. If he doesn't get it by now, I doubt he'll be with the team next season.
