  1. Past hour
  2. Can’t wait for the GOP to do absolutely nothing about this except complain on twitter
  3. He did cap strategy I believe. I don't know that he was actually the spreadsheet and numbers guy. But maybe back in his football ops days he did.
  4. I am not usually pessimistic about the Bills, but I don't see an easy path to improvement for next season. We have a lot of free agents, some of whom we should try to retain (such as McGovern and Edwards), and a lot of older or unproductive players that we probably should not retain (Poyer, Phillips, Rapp, Tre, Milano, Samuel and probably players like Knox (restructure?), Johnson (restructure?), Jones, Ogunjobi, and Bosa (who seems to have hit a wall)). We will have a lot of holes, particularly on defense, and very little in the way of resources to replace these players, let alone find upgrades, with no help coming from our disappointing back-ups who are not starter quality (i.e., Solomon and Carter). Bottom line is that the team is old, slow and lacks top end talent other than Josh and Cook. The Bills don't have a blue chip player on the defense and do not have a starting caliber boundary WR on offense. Not sure how this can get fixed in the near term.
  5. knowing we won't win it all is liberating. I'll be entertained in games we do well & not surprised when we don't.
  6. It’s an interesting thought, we got Tre white Dawkins and Milano in that draft. That’s 3 all pros. All before Beane got here. Maybe give McD more say? Or perhaps bring back Doug Whaley!?
  7. Maybe Brady doesn't have a playbook to open up. I think that what we see is all they got.
  8. I have to say.. He is, hands down, the best sports media guy in WNY. Does a great job with Joe Marino on Locked On and is the only WGR show I listen to off Audacy. Hes not over the top and ridiculous like some of these hot takes personalities you can find in bigger markets. His takes are extremely cathartic to hear and typically extremely accurate. It feels like he’s perfectly channeling the frustrations of this fanbase, for years now. And he gives credit when it’s due. Hes not built off negative takes. Just had to shout him out. Hes the one guy in WNY that this southerner makes sure I listen to.

  9. Even still. Two players who are both CBs and one is 210 and the other is 180, who holds up better to a full season of tackling and all that? Who is more likely to have thinner ankles and roll them more? Or smaller bone structures? Milano has clearly carried too much muscle for his frame and had multiple muscle injuries.
  10. If Stafford retires within the next couple years and the Bills are in no man's land stuck between legit super bowl contender and mediocre, I could see the Rams making a serious run at trying to get him. I would be absolutely sick seeing him leave and it would be bittersweet seeing him succeed and win a ring with another team, but he deserves it and my doubts are continuing to grow that a Lombardi is a possibility for this organization under the current regime.
  11. If you go back and watch the film of the Baltimore game, you'll see him attacking ballcarriers like they'd said something about his mother. He was slow to get up a couple times and I remember saying something like "Geebus Christian, take it easy before you hurt yourself young man". He kept it up for another week or two and has seriously tailed off since then. The only good that came of it was that one big win and the fact that Tre White and Hairston followed his lead and have ben sticking their faces in the fan all year. Although with Hairston now concussed, maybe it wasn't all that good of a thing.
  12. I think people are reading into that quote the wrong way I think McDermott is saying he didn't become bad magically this week... He is a good coach who is struggling.. I think that's what McDermott was getting at not that he's always been bad If he believe that he should fire him
  13. McDermott thrilled about giving up 23 points to a Davis Mills led team lol
  14. That’s a Kyle Williams/Marcel Darrius Stat line combined from their best years. 👏👏
  15. I told my wife the same thing when we missed the extra point and she told me not to be so negative. We converted the 4th and 27 and I yelled "Holy Sh**! " and woke her up. When Dawkins committed his bonehead penalty I said it sure would be nice to have one more point so we could kick a fg and tie it up.
  16. To be fair the defense was really good in the second half And Joe Brady keeps calling mesh concepts on third down all the time to the point defensive players are running the route Like Brady needs to open up his playbook.. or Josh needs to just start checking out of his plays occasionally Realistically Dawkins getting a false start on 4th and 1 is something that's inexcusable for a four-time pro bowler... Like and I don't even think we would have had a good play drawn up But in that situation to me all you do is quarterback power left.. you literally pull a lineman and get Josh going .. but we didn't even have the chance
  17. Wow, what a scathing quote. So he is essentially admitting that the offensive coaching is bad, but it’s uncharacteristic (it isn’t). I have a feeling if this were week 4 instead of week 12 Brady would be given his walking papers. What a mess.
  18. The only way Allen wins a SB is by not being in Buffalo. Period. This franchise is incapable of doing what's needed.
  19. McDermott and Beane had their shot. It will be a travesty if Allen never wins a Super Bowl because of these two Bozo's.
  20. We live in a time when you can research pretty much anything. Hey I would have agreed with you but the human brain lies all the time. No, smaller NFL players do not necessarily have more injuries ; in fact, some research suggests larger players get hurt more often when controlling for position, though running back is a notable exception where smaller players are more injury-prone. Injury risk is more strongly linked to factors like playing time, usage, and position-specific demands rather than just body size.
  21. I mean sure he's not absolutely horrible He's probably between 20 and 32 for an inside linebacker in the NFL Probably a 5 to 6 million a year player we gave him double because he had one good year... And we were pressing because we let our pro bowl middle linebacker walk who was actually top 10 He makes some plays... Not consistently anymore and he's always hurt and slower
  22. That's real nice from McDermott. Pat his side of the ball on the back for "great adjustments" while throwing his personally picked OC under the bus. You can practically see him crafting his offseason pitch to Terry Pegula in real time.
  23. While it sure did matter, and I had the same thought, that makes it a trip to the dentist? What do you expect? Only perfect games and perfect outcomes? A 20-0 season? As for coaches change, yes, Ben Johnson and Vrabel were good choices. Even though you know Vrabel was fired too? But that was last year. Who do you get now? Some of you were yapping to bring back Daboll! You seemed to forget how disliked he was here at the end. And he called horrible offensive plays for the Giants. No you don't do change just for change.
  24. I am a firm believer that smaller players get injured more often. I have no data to back this up but it makes sense. We tend to prioritize small defenders with the idea being they would be faster. Problem is our small defenders are also slow. small slow and injured is no way to build a D
