Met him 2X - his rookie year at training camp - he was up against the goalpost surrounded by throngs of people looking for autographs - at the game against the Jets (sometime in the 80's) where his jersey was retired. Saw him leaving the owner's box and ran after him to get him to sign the poster they had given out from a purely football perspective, still think he was the greatest RB of all time. From a personal life perspective, one of the worst RB's of all time

My dad worked for the telephone company in the 70s. Once when the installers went on strike he had to go out into the field...he had a housecall at OJ's place. When he went over there OJ and Joe D were there...he got me two signed B&W photos I still have today. One of the earliest Bills games I recall watching was a game in Miami when OJ ran wild, even though (of course) the Bills lost. I think it was 1976.

Football is toast folks. It's just a matter of when. CTE, gambling and greed have all but killed it. If OJ wasn't a psycho during his career, why was he a psycho after? Aaron Donald left in his prime. The writing is on the wall. Responsible parents won't put their kids in the sport.

I don't think he's actually employed by SI, is the thing. They have some sort of blog-ish website "On SI", where they recruit people to write about their teams. I'm not sure whether or how it's paid? but it does seem like as much of a claim for being credentialed as, say, the Niagara Gazette or Batavia Daily or Syracuse.com.

Standing in the road protesting IS a crime, at least in Florida, you have a right to assemble in public places but not on the middle of the road. So since we have now established that they are acting criminally do you still defend their right to act criminally? As for Fines bill of course I support it, since the only people who are protesting in the road are criminals and I don't protect criminals.

I was at the Jets vs Bills at Shea in 1973. I was 5 at the time so I can't say I have a memory of it, but I was there according to my dad.
