  1. Past hour
  2. Kickers scare the sh*t out of me. you’d have to trade an early pick and make him the highest paid kicker in the league while eating the bass contract and despite all that he could get the yips at literally any moment 😂.
  3. More Deone Walker, more Shaq Thompson..
  4. How are supposed to get pur pitchforks ready if we can't agree on stats? C'MON
  5. It’s such a loaded question at this point that discussing the draft renders it meaningless..
  6. I agree. People will watch small - medium market teams as long as they're good. Yes, teams like the Cowboys will draw viewers regardless, but people prefer watching good teams! Look at the NFL games with the highest ratings last season (non-playoff / non-holiday): 1) Chiefs vs Bills - 31.1 million viewers 2) Chiefs vs Ravens - 29.2 million viewers 3) Chiefs vs Bengals - 27.9 million viewers 4) Ravens vs Cowboys - 27.3 million viewers 5) Chiefs vs 49ers - 27.1 million viewers 6) Packers vs Vikings - 26.4 million viewers 7) Packers vs 49ers - 25.2 million viewers 8 ) Eagles vs Ravens - 25.2 million viewers 9) Chiefs vs Falcons - 25.1 million viewers 10) Bears vs Commanders - 24.9 million viewers 11) Eagles vs Cowboys - 24.6 million viewers 12) Lions vs Packers - 24.2 million viewers 13) Chiefs vs Chargers - 24.2 million viewers 14) Lions vs Cowboys - 24.1 million viewers 15) Bills vs Rams - 24 million viewers So yes, the Cowboys appear 3 times on that list, but teams like the Bills, Chiefs, Packers, Ravens, Vikings, Bengals, etc. all show up on there. That being said, teams like the Cowboys, Giants & Bears draw a high average viewership. Checkout the viewership data from last year. It proves small market teams still draw good viewership as long as they're good (but also that Cowboys / Giants will draw no matter what).
  7. Apparently, the winner will take top spot on Mahomes Mountain!
  8. I need to see it to believe it with that crew. Let's not get too crazy because they lost to a legit division opponent followed by the Super Bowl champs, while down their most important skill players. They definitely do not have the same mojo as last year but they are still going to out coach their opponent on a weekly basis and that means volumes in a league where roster parity has never been tighter.
  9. Now That was a very good football game. The Lions D put on a Clinic for the importance of Mind Your Gap and how to tackle, and it won for them in the end.
  10. Yes, I read your post. Saying "better than most" and than creating a list of just the "bad" and omitting the good is misleading. And as I said, I don't think a number of those players listed are fair to be deemed poor usage of a 2nd. It's *way* too soon to judge TJ Sanders. He's played a total of 3 games. Cole Bishop is in his 3rd game as a full time starter. And again, with Epenesa we've gotten pretty decent return for the kind of Defensive End that you're going to find with a pick at the bottom of Round 2. If you take a look at the list of DE's active in the NFL who were taken in Round 2, you're going to be hard pressed to find something more than what he's been for us. Which is a decent 3rd in the rotation. When you take into account Dion Dawkins, James Cook, O'Cyrus Torrence, and Keon Coleman in conjunction with guys like Sanders and Bishop who it's too early to rule on and Epenesa who you got fairly standard return on investment for the position - our 2nd Round selections haven't been the albatross people like to make it out to be. In fact, it's probably better than a lot of teams track records there over a 9 year period.
  11. If the Bills get the 1 seed and Allen does what he’s done for several years now(40+TDs, big performances against top teams) and keeps the turnovers to single digits, then Allen will win his 2nd MVP. I cared until he won it last year, now that he’s accomplished that I’m focused on the 1 seed and a SB appearance.
  12. I maintain that Brian Daboll has naughty pictures of John Mara There's also the fact that Daniel Jones looks like a totally different QB so far in Indy. He looks natural, at ease, poised, and confident. Time will tell.
