  1. Past hour
  2. Do we take a flyer on Brandin Cooks he’d be a potential depth addition we still need help at wide receiver.
  3. Good - I think playing at 1300 is much better for the Bills plus it doesn't interfere with an early dinner
  4. I wouldn’t go as far as untouchable, but I -and likely others, am suffering from ‘Seanitis’, a contempt-breeding familiarity condition. I’m sure everybody realizes neither would be unemployed long. 7 of 8 years in the playoffs and 5 straight Division titles carries a lot of weight in the League. Both would be snapped up quickly if they desired to stay in the League, including some teams who’d fire their current HC/GM just to interview them. Personally, I don’t blame either one for our current predicament. With very rare exceptions, they acquire talented players with high character which is unusual these days. We’re literally crippled by injuries and more players will likely follow in the coming weeks. There’s only so much ca$h to go around. But the infusion of good young talent -injury notwithstanding- are fine additions to the growth of the team. Theyve spoiled us is all.
  5. That’s a great summary of who Rousseau is. He is strong against the run. He just can’t get to the QB very much because he isn’t twitchy or a physical freak. The problem is that Epenesa or Bosa are pretty much the same guy as Rousseau at this points in their careers. But not as good against the run. Salomon is good on special teams. And I don’t know if Landon Jackson is good at anything on a football field. (We won’t know until next year) Our DE situation is terrible for rushing the passer. We so needed Hoecht. That and Kincaid’s injury are the losses that really hurt.
  6. The Groot extension made sense for the right price given proper expectations. He was never going to be a guy that consistently wins off the edge and gets to the QB. He was always someone that plays the run and gets you about 6-8 sacks a year. He wasn't a hard player to project. When he got to the QB in college it was mainly from playing inside but unfortunately that was never going to be where he would play in the NFL. Me thinks we're going to hate his contract in 2 years when he's making $23mil. Another overpay from Beane.
  7. I think they have been far too precious about re-signing "our guys". The only home run they hit was Cook. And that one felt like pulling teeth. Also promoting coordinators from within hasn't exactly been a slam dunk either.
  8. The posting your (NG's) age reminded me that you (NG) once said that you graduated with my sister. (CCHS class of '77). I'm class of '75. Just had my 50th reunion this summer.
  9. Greg Rousseau's 2025 PFF grades vary by week, but recent performances show an 83.2 overall grade, a 79.3 pass-rush grade, and a strong 87.9 run-defense grade. He is ranked as the highest-graded edge defender against the run so far this season
  10. 2020 was our best offense when you consider PPG. Since then there has been a very clear shift to a running offense. It's real cool that it works in the regular season, but it's been sputtering in the postseason. Even the Ravens game last playoffs was a fluke thanks to the great field position.
  11. I could kinda sorta force myself to believe this but guys are getting hurt every frickin game. It just doesn't stop
  12. Part of me wishes they don't make the playoffs in the hope that this organization go in a different direction. I'm just not sure Pegula would fire McDermott and Beane, no matter what. Also, I'm not too confident that Pegula would make the right hires if he does fire these two. This organization has been wasting Josh Allen, and it's just pathetic that he has been given this group of receivers. All we have to do is look at the Sabres and know that we cannot trust Pegula. I would not blame Josh if he asked for a trade!!! He won't get a ring with this bunch!!
  13. Maybe McD cans him during the mini bye? McD had some harsh words indirectly aimed at Brady in the post game PC -- and was visibly furious with him on the inane 4th-and-1 draw to Cook. Or is that just wishful thinking on my part?
  14. My god. This board has become a bigger embarrassment than the actual defense. Just pick a name each day and cry about it.
  15. Oline 8 sacks, horrific performance.
  16. Bad play call that came in late and HC asleep at the wheel
  17. @Pittsburgh- Win vs Cincinnati- Win @ NE- Win @ Cle- Win vs Phil- Win vs NYJ- Win oh wait McD is our coach so we’ll probably lose to Cincy and either NE or Philly and get the 6 seed
  18. Funny posts from Panthers board years ago on why Brady was fired...sound familiar? Brady seemed to run a very simple and predictable offense. Similarly to Reich, I felt like we never ran RPO, rubs, double moves, motion. No creativity and teams seemed to know what was coming. But I also think he was a scapegoat for the Rhule era, a bit. I am not convinced that Rhule allowed Brady to run his full offense. I liked Brady in 2020. He was the first actual OC we'd had in years. He schemed receivers open. He beat blitzes with quick routes. He wore down defenses without using an MVP quarterback to do the wearing down. Then 2021 happened. I honestly think he wanted out. That offense was putrid. It wasn't designed to move the ball. We won some games early on because our defense was shutting people down and nobody told our offense they were supposed to be bad. Then sometime after week 3, we were running an offense that resembled high school football. Granted, it would've been a very high level high school football team, but it still wasn't professional level football. I honestly can't describe it; its like everyone knew what we were doing pre-snap and it was the most basic of plays. It honestly looked like sabotage to me. I believe Brady wanted out of the Rhule mistake. I didn’t hate Brady really…he just…ugh, was so predictable! Bro called screens like at least twice a drive if I remember correctly. The screens would gain 1 yard max Teddy would throw a checkdown behind the line of scrimmage on 4th and 8 with 13 seconds left in the fourth quarter, down by 4 at the opponent 25 yard line. He had 27 games to learn on the job honestly. His scripted opening was pretty decent but then it came time to call plays on the fly and he just fell apart. Don't hate the guy but his offensive scheme wasn't a good fit for Rhule's power run vision (regardless if you liked Rhule) and he kept making the same mistakes. He shouldn't have been hired as a OC with such little experience in building a program in the first place, the guy only called red zone plays at LSU.
  19. Do they get the right to bare arms?
  20. Yes. I voted for this. Anything that brings more coping and seething to Roundy teef is fine by me.
  21. He should be fired if the team doesn't rally. Throw McD out with him.
  22. How did Rousseau get a thread ripping on him before Benford?
  23. Tend to agree with this, except Pitt might play us hard on the road and Cinci should be a W. I knew a short week in Houston against that defense would be tough. almost unfair. But the team is just flat and I don't think we win enough to do more than a WC road game. I'd like to say we win that, but depends on the matchup. The Bills just don't do well against teams with good pass rushes.
