A thread to chronicle your loss of “democracy” under Trump
Wacka replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Someone I know that got more than he paid in was my grandfather. He paid in from 1935-1953 (his retirement) and collected from 1953-1983 (died at age 94). -
Give him a 1 day contract, let him retire and offer him some sort of 'coaching' position imo..

This schedule is looking pretty official.

8-0 after KC leaves WNY. 😁😁

Bosa replaces Miller. That should hopefully be an upgrade. Depends a lot on Bosa’s health. I kind of think he might be on a snap count to save him for later in the season. Hoecht is in the same tier of player as Toohill and Smoot. Probably a slightly better pass rusher than those guys. Not a huge difference maker, but a nice rotational piece. Ogunjobi is just a rotational depth DT. He’s paid the same as Epenesa. Steelers fans say he’s very inconsistent. Hairston/Dane Jackson/Tre White might be better or might be worse than Rasul Douglas (and he was pretty bad last season). That’s a big question mark. Rookies don’t usually step in at boundary CB and light the world on fire, and usually when they do they are top-10 picks. We are crossing our fingers that Forrest or Bishop can step up at safety. Basically hoping players that have never played a certain role can step into that role and excel. The Bills defense might be good, and it has changed some, but it’s a huge question mark to me. There is a good chance it’s not any better than last year. Our UFAs were rotational guys (out of necessity due to cap), and most rookie defenders don’t really contribute much. How sure was everybody that Bishop would step into a starter role day 1 last year? Never happened. Basham never got there. Elam never got there.

2025-2026 Schedule Leaks/Rumors

I just don't get how the Patriots qualify for SNF -
stefon can date whoever he wants. his drama can only be in our favor this time. NOT OUR PROBLEM yay 🙂 I care that he and Hollins are both Patriots. aka competition. I don't like ex bills as competition. It just feels icky

The 17th game is a 3rd strength of schedule game. It is against an outer conference opponent(NFC) from a division that we played two years ago. In this case the NFC East.

Yes, but Barkley is a 21m per year RB. Henry is only at 15m per because he'll be 32 by the end of this season and has had recurring foot problems. If he had Cook's clean bill of health, tread left on the tires, and was 25 years old - he'd surpass Barkley's 21m per year. Of course he's not 21m. But he's not asking for that. This idea that he's a definitively a 2 Down RB to every team in the NFL and that he's not worth 15m bc Henry is a better RB is severely flawed. It assumes every team in the NFL views and utilizes all players the same way and ignores the effect of Henry's age and wear and tear on his contract value.

Oh give me a break. Says who? Bernard has had one really good year. Oliver has had how many postseasons to change a game and failed to do so? Benford just broke out along with Cook. Groot just got abused in his last playoff game and has a career best 8 sacks in a season. Are they really "elite" or more like top 15 guys? These players have never been voted on the All Pro team. Zero top 100's. So is this back to the poor disenfranchised Buffalo players not getting respect? It gets old. They aren't elite, that's why they don't get elite respect. I know that is a stunning conclusion.

At age 32 and coming off an ACL tear, he is going to be a shell of himself for most of the year on the field

The driver of a clown car has the balls to call other posters fvvckin clowns?? What a disgraceful joke you are, Ding *****. You’re a weak-minded fool who spews NOTHING but bvvllshit. FACT

It’s pretty simple to me. Diggs is the master of manipulating teams by posing himself as a “problem child” so that he can move on to his next payday. It allows him to get out of contracts, force trades and add bank. It’s all very calculated.

Well, he can respond to the will of the electorate and actually govern. This involves...gasp... compromise. Or he can watch Britain run by a pissant, meme driven vulture like Nigel Farage, or whatever empty suit the Tories prop up.

Spencer Brown is a Pro Bowl player, Benford is Pro Bowl player, and Cook is a Pro Bowl player. None of the 3 are at an all pro level. Brown is the most likely to get there. No way in hell Oliver, Rousseau, or Bernard are part of that conversation at this point. Your response is sort of the point of his post.

2025-2026 Schedule Leaks/Rumors

Does anyone know how they decide the 17th game? We got the Eagles this year. Do they match by how you finish in the division like they do with the other AFC teams? Bye could be a little later. At Miami in early Nov is far better than Sept! Would have liked Cin earlier. Don't like 4 road games in 5 weeks. And two tough physical games to finish the year. Hopefully Bills have it wrapped up and are not playing the starters week 17. Have a really good chance to be 7-0 before KC comes to town. -
Ehhh if he would take a year long version of what they did with Hyde last year... give him a minimum contract and put him on the practice squad to teach the new/young guys how to play safety in this system. And if he can accept the only way he sees the field is "Oh my God our top seven safeties were car pooling and the van crashed!"... then sure, ok.

Does using the race card ever get old with you dumb leftist tw@ts??
