That's an excellent point about the chance to still host a home game. -

I swear to God I only played D&D once in my life and it was decades ago but this is exactly what it was like: you’d acquire some magical power and start using it and then someone would roll the dice and it would disappear. -

This year it is. We’re tied with the Giants for most PS call ups needed to play. I’ll take issue with those that act like we’ve lost so many pieces. Eh, no, not really. If we get Oliver back, and the end of season is predicated upon making sure core guys stay healthy, we’re only down Hoecht, Rapp, Jackson and Carter. One impact player and 3 role/depth players. What we have had, is an INSANE amount of 1-4 week injuries. Every week is friggin whack a mole with this team. We went a 3 game stretch with 3 practice squad guys and a rookie at DT. Bosa back, Benford out. Shaq back, Bernard out. Kincaid and Palmer living life as Gameday inactives due to injury. A 3 game stretch with Dawkins/Brown injured or out. Samuel out, Hardman in, Hardman out. Never ending. It’s comical at this point. -

Between the Top 7: What Loss Would Each Team Want Back?

Meh, not sure I agree. Losing on the road to a divisional opponent can happen, even when you are more talented than them. The Brady Patriots had a relatively poor record in Miami actually. Despite mainly facing three inept franchises I think the Patriots dynasty swept the AFC East just five times in 20 years. I think the Falcons is our worst loss of the year. 100%. The Patriots one hurts most in terms of impact on the season, but the Falcons defeat was diabolical. -

I think they grasp the concept. I think they've just failed to get us the personnel to make it a reality. And I agree. If you can attack a defense with the run and the pass, both horizontally and vertically, you become very hard to defend. But we're limited. -
Well? I'm a PITA so any boss that leaves me alone for the most part is a good boss. My current boss leaves me alone for the most part as long as the housekeeping stuff is in order (paperwork, documentation, the like). He was perceptive enough to know that I only pretend to be type B but I'm actually highly type A and bristle at any hint of micromanagement.

Kind of surprised to realized he's only a year younger than Allen. Are Mahomes and Jackson also around the same age?

They don’t pay their offensive line and defense. There’s a reason why the D can’t get stops and Burrow is always banged up. -

That's the problem with many things. Posters here all blame the Bills staff for many things that may be very common, but posters don't follow other teams to the level they follow the Bills, so everything here appears to be worse -
Tre and Hairston might be ok on the outside against Hollins, Boutte etc IF we can generate any semblance of pass rush. Johnson and Lewis have been abject disasters this season. We desperately need Taron Johnson to get to even 80% of what he used to be.

Patriots would obviously have the biggest impact but the loss to Miami was top 3 worst loss in the McBeane era. That game could end up costing us a Superbowl because this team as a 1 seed, needing two wins at home vs this playoff field, would almost feel like a lock to win the AFC. -
At this point, I wouldn’t have another practice all season. We have to have lost more players due to a practice injury than in game?

Game week thread - Bills at Patriots*
CincyBillsFan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nothing would be my guess beyond his secretly hoping for a rematch in the playoffs. The bigger question would be what happened to Diggs psyche last season when he was recovering from a season ending injury and Allen was leading the Bills to the AFC Championship game and collecting an MVP along the way. -
I don't buy it. This team has enough good players on it to beat any other NFL team, "IF" everyone is healthy. The problem is and has been all season, the injuries with something like 38 players being injured over the course of this season. Yes, all teams have injuries, and the difference is that this team keeps winning. Josh Allen doesn't need to be Superman every game as the Bills have the #1 rushing team in the NFL and are currently #5 in points, #2 in yards. The defense is 14th in points allowed and #10 in yards allowed, and if you hadn't noticed, they are shutting down teams in the second half. The run defense has improved with Shaq Thompson starting. The New England Patriots just started getting hit with the injury bug, and because they played a 4th-place schedule is the reason as to why they are leading the division. Hopefully, this team gets healthy going forward and keeps winning in the snow/cold.

Yes this is the one that would have us in a good position for the Division vs having to go wild card route.
