Bills Defense, will it get better as season goes on
GASabresIUFan replied to North Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Assuming continued health by the current defenders, adding Hoecht, Hairston, Milano and Oliver (and to a lesser extent Ogunjobi) to this defense will make an incredible positive difference, especially against the run and adding speed to the secondary. -

The parallel is that Charlie Kirk is Jesus? How very strange of you people. Or, as I said before, disgusting fake Christians -

Does that march happen without Charlie Kirk being assassinated? You are probably saying yes. So please give me some information on this was planned prior to Charlie's death. Like to get a 3 million march lined up, it would take some time to put together wouldn't it? Or maybe something happened in which it drove that many millions to want to get out of their house? Think hard. -

The logical rooting interest is to want the Jets to win this game vs Miami Reason being that the Jets aren't paying a long-term QB, so we want them to have a lower draft pick. Let Miami get a Top 5 pick and let the swirl begin on if they draft a new QB or keep Tua -
I think yours is a fair take like literally, if you have a problem how can the QB not be included.... the only point I would bring up is that "Is the offensive game plan to not throw down field" this potentially could remove Allen from the equation, like he is just following the game plan (then this is not a problem, its a design) ... and with 34 points a game I dont think we have a problem. I understand the posters and they eye test... I too am wondering what down field looks like to him.. like are these guys not getting open or is he just taking higher percentage throws by design.... ? I think we are and have been in a everyone wants a superbowl soooo badly that anything else other than complete dominance is not acceptable... and the reality it just doesnt work like that.

Yep, and Miami will ALWAYS get offseason hype and primetime games because everyone involved from the Commissioner on down to NBC Production Interns want an excuse to have work pay to go to South Florida for a week at a time. -

Three million, all for Charlie Kirk? -
Every game is different and sure anything can happen but if you want to be the team you think you are you have to beat the Patriots and Falcons. Falcons will be tougher because it’s a night game on the road but there is no reason a Josh Allen led team shouldn’t handle that. We always have one game though that we look back on and go what happened though , usually on the road

I am a bit of a downer on this defense. I think if Hairston can get healthy and be an impact guy and we can get more of the best version of Joey Bosa, and Michael Hoecht can add something and we can get and keep Ed Oliver healthy then maybe it turns a corner. But I dunno. I just don't feel like this group has the talent of a top defense. -

It is true that overall, the Bills schedule is pretty easy, but their schedule does include Baltimore, Kansas City, Tampa Bay, (They are 3-0 like Buffalo and some pundits like their Super Bowl odds) Cincinnati (week 14 - so there is a slight chance Burrows could be back) and Philadelphia. Of course, we already beat Baltimore, but there are four more teams that won't be a cakewalk. -

I don't disagree, there was more interest with Micah than Poyer for sure, I know I was more excited about Micah and didn't think much about the Poyer signing. But I also think for a lot of people that was more a function of what we paid Micah than it was that people knew a lot about him to actually be excited. On the opposite side, there were people less enthused given he was making a position switch (NCB to FS), and in his last year in GB he only started 11 of the 16 games he played in despite entering the season as the starter. Not to mention, GB (despite having a need for him) not only let him leave, they didn't even offer him a contract to try and keep him. And that created a lot of questions around here that if he was so good why didn't GB even attempt to keep him. -

President Newsome? We've just spent the last 6 months hearing the lib propaganda machine tell us that Trump is going to cancel future elections and declare himself President for life. If they truly believe all that nonsense how can that be possible? So which is it? An authoritarian future or democratic elections. -
Yes, because the Steelers are awful. Dominated? Those were two teams doing everything they could to lose. What do you think the Bills or Ravens would have done to the Patriots Yesterday?

I said it was a three way race in the AFC entering the season. The Chargers are now in the chat so it'll come down to Bills, Ravens, Chiefs, and Chargers. Bills need that bye week. -
As bad as you make that team sound, you can never tell what mysterious ways that oblong spheroid will bounce. I hope the Bills play the starters and put the game away, and then start the backups.
