  1. Past hour
  2. My cousin in rural VA had a dry wedding. It was technically dry, but there was about 2 gallons of shine and lord knows how many coolers of beer in the parking lot outside the reception…. So everyone kept slipping outside “for a smoke” and got lit anyways. 😂
  3. Has it been confirmed yet that the sun is hot or water is wet
  4. Those Chargers teams did win 5 division titles in a row but one of those was an 8-8 year. It was a good run. They were not as good as these Bills teams with the exception of the 2006 team which shouls have won the Superbowl.
  5. guess you've never applied for a passport, at least recently. The post office isn't involved. It's all done online, even the photograph. They have a program to approve or disapprove it. Took about 5 tries. It's been raining steadily the last 10 days so no golf. The pool and pickleball courts are open but not used. So it's sad. Cool that you have a greater generational legacy than I do. Isn't it a shame that so many trump administration officials that are recent citizens are making decisions about who can be American?
  6. I thought I was someone that couldn't really be offended, then I went to a beer & wine only wedding.
  7. Peoples interpretation and definitions of those two words determine perception. The charger’s team of Philip rivers and Lt. for example. To chargers fans that team was historic for a few years. In the annals of nfl history not to much. Just another great team with great players, who couldn’t get over the hump. Philip Rivers had 8 pro bowl selections. I think Josh is way better than him. To have never appeared in at least a superbowl is underwhelming to say the least. Especially when Josh’s playoff stats are other worldly. Maybe this year they get over the hump. More optimistic about this team, than any team since the “historic” team of the 90’s.
  8. drop the MIC Holy crap girlie DANG wow awesome Great FABULOUS I ❤️ you xo m
  9. The Trump administration knew that the vast majority of the 238 Venezuelan immigrants it sent to a maximum-security prison in El Salvador in mid-March had not been convicted of crimes in the United States before it labeled them as terrorists and deported them, according to U.S. Department of Homeland Security data that has not been previously reported. President Donald Trump and his aides have branded the Venezuelans as “rapists,” “savages,” “monsters” and “the worst of the worst.” When multiple news organizations disputed those assertions with reporting that showed many of the deportees did not have criminal records, the administration doubled down. It said that its assessment of the deportees was based on a thorough vetting process that included looking at crimes committed both inside and outside the United States. But the government’s own data, which was obtained by ProPublica, The Texas Tribune and a team of journalists from Venezuela, showed that officials knew that only 32 of the deportees had been convicted of U.S. crimes and that most were nonviolent offenses, such as retail theft or traffic violations. The data indicates that the government knew that only six of the immigrants were convicted of violent crimes: four for assault, one for kidnapping and one for a weapons offense. And it shows that officials were aware that more than half, or 130, of the deportees were not labeled as having any criminal convictions or pending charges; they were labeled as only having violated immigration laws. https://www.texastribune.org/2025/05/30/trump-el-salvador-deportees-criminal-convictions-cecot-venezuela/ So in what world is it just fine for the US government to send immigrants to a third country to serve potential life sentence in a hell hole prison, with no criminal charges, no leagal hearing, no defined sentence? This is what Putin or other dictators do. The majority of these people are just immigrants who crossed the border and wanted a job and a better life. Mass murderers, child rapists and drug cartel leaders are treated better than that. Trump did it just because he wanted too. Then, when the government is informed of their mistake, they claim no ability to retrieve them. Is the Christian right all fine with this?
  10. But that's my point. You need a consesnus for someone to be the heir apparent. And if there was Roger wouldn't be able to get them out. Roger is there until the owners don't want him to be. And if they had idenfitied who was next, that person would be in the organisation.
  11. Depends on who the affair is for.......if you know what I mean?
  12. Keon is invited, but Josh knows it will take him too long to get there so he also extended an invite to Josh Palmer to fill the spot.
  13. LOL…”spiked mohawk”…I love it, Muppy!! Methinks my political subforum irreverence, however, belies my true self. Punk and/or goth doesn’t quite fit my personality. The uniquely Commie Kay fashion aesthetic can best be described as such: “cosmopolitan hippy: an ethereal, iridescent fusion of stoic Manhattan professionalism met with impish Brooklyn bohemianism.” Or something. So I just finished perusing this thread. I’d like to add Meg White (White Stripes), Karen Orzolek (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Regine Chassagne (Arcade Fire), and Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star) to the discussion. I also want to re-emphasize the awesomeness of Grace Slick, Kim Gordon, P.J. Harvey, and Dolores O’Riordan. And my official answer for my favorite rocker chick is Melissa Auf der Maur. Her pairing with Courtney Love for Hole** was absolutely SUBLIME. I once told my Dad (a huge Nirvana fan) that I think Hole was actually better than Nirvana. His immediate response was that I should be removed from the family will. While I did deserve that response, I think my point also stands that Hole is very underrated. I’ll definitely look through your OTW music posts this summer, Mups! It already looks like we have some overlap in interests. My own musical tastes are pretty eclectic and mood-based. I can listen to anything ranging from indie rock to hard rock to classic rock to pop to hip-hop. Best wishes to you and your musically gifted family members in all your artistic pursuits!! Remember to “at” me if the PPP MAGA boys give you any trouble this summer. Oh, you KNOW how I like to rage against that particular machine…<< baleful Tom Morello wah-wah pedal sounds >> ** - Not-so-fun fact: the bassist Melissa replaced was a native Buffalo girl who had died of a drug overdose.
  14. I feel like once you reach like double digit Bills invites, you have to invite them all, right? Maybe it’s different in the NFL, but like what’s an extra 30 plus guests? Pat Dimarco, he’s Josh’s favorite deep threat.
  15. It depends on how many owners. What if Terry LOVED the idea of Dean Blandino as deputy commissioner. But Jerry Jones and a couple others did not? Ultimately, we know how that goes. There are 31 billionaires all politicking and forming voting blocs and rivalries etc etc. The NFL ownership is not a monolith. That’s the whole point of the commissioner. He has 31 bosses and they may not all agree. Heck, maybe only one of them is the one who cares about this succession plan and the other 30 are happy to ride the gravy train. You are oversimplifying.
  16. I was supposed to go with Stefon Diggs but he kinda dropped the ball on those plans.
  17. I am saying if the guys being "pushed out" were guys the owners genuinely saw as the heir apparent they wouldn't be getting pushed out.
  18. Um that’s what the reporting is in the OP. Are we saying the reporting is false that the owners want a succession plan? Or that the reporting is false that heir apparents get pushed out?
  19. Yeah imo, they basically took a long EDGE who was going to be a 2-3 sack per year clean up guy at most, and turned him into a situational pass rusher capable of having quite a bit more sacks come in bunches. Hard to say that was ideal but the corollary is that he’s probably a slightly better Boogie Basham if he didn’t reshape himself.
  20. If they wanted that they'd have it. Wheyher Goodell wants it or not.
  21. He’s just there for the hors d’oeuvres.
  22. Has anyone ever been to a wedding without an open bar? I once went to one, in fact it was a dry wedding. They are super religious. It was in rural Arkansas. I drove through a tornado to get there. I’d never experienced a tornado prior (or since). I wish it would have gotten us, Wizard of Oz style. Anyways, that was the first time I heard of a wedding without an open bar. If you can’t afford an open bar, invite less people. If your religious beliefs prevent you from serving alcohol, don’t invite me. Don’t invite anyone. No one wants to be there otherwise. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. Congrats to Josh & Hailee 🥂
  23. When I first started reading Fergie’s post, I was drawn to the parallels between his story and “The Diary of Anne Frank”. Then I thought of the trauma of a 60+ year old retired rich guy heading to a local post office without valet parking, having to wait in line behind 2 ladies buying forever stamps, submitting his paperwork and then popping over to the country club to practice putting. Everyone has their battle, I suppose. Then again, I’m 6th generation and Fergie is just another carpet bagger if you ask me.
