  1. Past hour
  2. And that is exactly why McD said something to Brady because it has happened a couple or 3 times and he is letting him know about it which is doing his job of being the HC !!
  3. They just need to activate Gabe, they've got their WR.
  4. Lol. Agree he isn't great. But he is starting because we have nobody better!
  5. Do you remember Ken Dorsey getting fired? I never brought up points. So what's your point?
  6. Of course, that's true. But this is year 8. Josh should be better at pre-snap reads by now. It's his weakest aspect as a QB. It's also how Tom Brady won 7 Super Bowls. In this case, it wasn't that he got sacked. That happens. It's that the protection call was laughably bad. They only rushed 5 and had two completely free rushers. I don't feel like posting a video, but I think this still sums it up nicely. Look at Brown standing there blocking nobody with two free rushers closing hard.
  7. Yes. But if the offense was at least competent, the Bills would have won that game.
  8. I loved those screens. The Buffalo Bills still own those Coach Gailey game films. I often wish the coaching staff would dig some of those out, dust them off, and shamelessly copy some of the screens. Can you imagine Cook getting the football in space with blockers in front of him like Fred did? Cook could score 10 TDs by Perl harbor Day if we did that.
  9. How's that worked over the past 5 years? Bills have scored 30+ points 14 of the last 17 games. Sure, they might get us for a game here and there but overall the Bills are a machine offensively. Yes, they have pretty much every time. The Bills D allowing on average 14 points more than they do during the regular season should be the starting and ending point of the discussion for playoff issues.
  10. This just in, opposing DC's figure out how to stop you. The rest of the league Copy cats. Did we score enough points in the last two losses? Have the Buffalo Bills ever scored enough points in the playoffs when the sledding gets tough to reach the Superbowl? ( Allen at QB)
  11. I said it when they shocklingly signed him this summer--and not for the vet minimum!! Done and not just as a starter--because if you cannot physically play the position you cannot be a backup at a spot where you are often on an island. Not like having a sort of done running back, like we had in Gore, as that is not going to be nearly as costly as a corner who cannot cover. It means a lot of 3rd down conversions, big plays, penalties and scores. Tre White is done as an NFL corner, NFL player. He was done last year. Clearly. Done this year. Can't be a starter, can't be a backup. Is done period. Beane and McDermott would never consider leaving him in there if he wasn't their boy, McD's first born (drafted) and the great 'culture' guy as Beane touted him when he signed him this summer (because he sure as heck was not going to tout his ability!). They need to wake up or they will be done too, and much sooner than most suspect. An awful defensive coordinator + an awful starting corner=a lost season. But time to change this dynamic. But now is the time. And time for Bills' fans to send this message somehow, and soon, loud and clear.
  12. He can atone for everything w/ a blockbuster trade this week.
  13. Singletary. Averaged 5.1 a carry as a rookie sharing with Gore. Similar to Walker producing and ramping up over the fast half of the year.
  14. I also thought this, but then it seems like McDermott often is reluctant to play the guys Beane drafts, especially early rounders. Later round guys seem to do much better, which is odd. It makes me wonder if someone is more involved early and less involved late or something. It defies logic. IMO McDermott is going to get Allen's entire career, so the best we can hope for is a GM who does a better job at building the roster and has a little bit of independence from McD. I have major issues with McDermott's defensive scheme, but no doubt it would look better if Beane's DL or S picks were better.
  15. The only thing that can hold Walker back is McD's D-Line rotation. I'm really hoping we don't get Ogunjobi taking 50% of the snaps. I get the reasoning behind rotating, but Walker & Oliver should be 65%+ at this point.
  16. Is it not on Brady to have him prepared to read the Falcons defense and their tendencies correctly? Yes, the bulk is on Josh, and maybe they did review it and Josh still made the mistake. But when I see so many players looking lost, including our MVP QB, some of that rolls to coaching and preparation.
  17. Jackson Hawes provides more versatility and is an excellent run blocker in his own right.
  18. I don't think he was that bad. He's not the same guy he was, but he is FAR from the biggest issue on defense. Neither of our safeties can play. Our undersized LBers are always getting hurt. Our DE's are basically nonexistent. The real issue? The defense keeps bringing back guys it let go because the GM has FAILED to replace them. Last year we actually signed a guy who shouldn't/couldn't even play to the practice squad (Hyde). That was insanely bad roster management.
  19. yeah, I think he and this defensive draft and others will turn out to be very good. But we need a defensive coach NOW who knows how to use them, or this will never show itself. Starting to hope for a loss after the bye, where we see a typical babbich type defense, and that ends this man's tenure in Buffalo promptly. A loss to save the season..
  20. Wow. That's an interesting turn of events.
  21. I've watched two plays on the all-22. I just can't force myself to look at more yet, but I'll get there. One was to see that Groot was, indeed, offside on the first play. He was, and so was Walker. The other was the sack of Josh on the play after McGovern got hurt. It was 3-8. What I saw was this: Pre-snap, the Falcons were showing blitz with 5 on the line and two just behind it. Josh came up to the line, pointing at guys. He didn't expect them to bring everyone so he was calling out the blitzers. They brought all 7 at the snap, but Ebiketie peels off the line to cover Johnson coming out of the backfield. He was probably the hot route. Ellis also drops into coverage. The Bills were running that same mesh route over the middle that they always run. What this meant is that Spencer Brown, who was blocking Ebiketie, is standing there like an idiot blocking nobody and the Falcons had 5 rushers on 4 blockers. Cybo and Anderson double-teamed Orhorhoro while Edwards took Jalon Walker. Divine Deablo ran right around the line while Dawkins was engaged with James Pearce out wide. CB Dee Alford also came on a blitz. That is two free rushers in Josh's face coming pretty much straight up the middle. It was a busted protection call. Shakir was wide open to Josh's left, but it didn't matter. With two free rushers, he couldn't see him. Josh lost that rep pre-snap with a poor protection call and Joe Brady had nothing to with it. The Bills punt, and two plays later, Robinson is running 81 yards for the TD.
  22. So you're saying Qatar didn't fund terrorists? (I posted that link because of the title) that is why I think in this instance, with that country I don't care for this. I don't care what the US has done in the past, I don't care what the US, including Trump, do in the future in regards to these type of situations. As long as it isn't with a country that sponsers or is involved with terrorism. If that is to hard for you to understand that is on you. If you don't like it idgaf! Good day.
  23. Fair enough Good point, probably not the best example to use. I can't predict how long Allen will play, but it's inevitable that Josh Allen's elite skills will begin to decline. Perhaps they already have...
  24. The fans on this forum are so spoiled by Allen that they have no idea what they're looking at anymore.
