I'm an IU grad and I'm against this. There is no quick fix like the transfer portal in the NFL. Cig is winning in Bloomington because they have bought two teams in the transfer portal with NIL money. Go Hoosiers! -

There is a ton of speculation that Beane doesn't really, truly run our drafts, and McD basically selects our picks. It was also rumored that Terry wanted Mahomes in 2017 and McD overuled him, so I personally believe this to some extent, seeing is how we draft heavy on defense and pretty much ignore offense in the early rounds. Then there's the speculation that they ask Josh for his input on FAs and draft prospects, so I am very confused to who really is running this team? Is it Sean, Brandon, Terry or Josh. I doubt its Josh, so that leaves the other three. -

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good
PatsFanNH replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
lol my Pats are good not great.. we have a competent HC again (BB lost his touch the last few years) and a very good OC in McDaniels.. a Young QB and O in general who IMO are playing way better than I expected. (8th on points averaging 26 points a game I think a TD better than last year). what I find funny the Bills have had 1 bad loss (Miami) but still rank 6th in O and 10th in D.. your Bills are fine just maybe a little inconsistent.. (O and D based on points per game for both) -

No denying the Pats are good. Even when they struggled the last few years, their defense was still pretty good, and we typically were 1-1 against them. Now they have found their QB and have a very solid coach, who will typically have them prepared game-in and game-out. Still, if the Bills had not played like trash against them, that would have been a Bills victory, which would have put the remainder of this season in a completely different light. Funny, all the talk heading into that game about how the Bills had not lost the turnover battle in like 2 years -- and then went on to do it in 3 of the next 5 games, all of which were losses. I guess a regression to the mean? Sadly, we've seen a lot of "regression to the mean" this year. -

The consulting firm was virtually irrelevant. I could make a reasonably cogent argument that Mike Tomlin indirectly had more to do with McDermott's hire than anybody outside the Bills organization. -
I’d just like to see Palmer as the X all game every game. Until he gets hurt again inevitably. Sucks how teams fortunes can be dictated so easily by injuries. Losing Hairston, Ed, Kincaid, sanders then Palmer, Daquan, Ed again then Taron, Hoecht, Benford, Shaq, epenesa, Kincaid again and sprinkles of Milano and Bernard has been tough to watch. Any Tar Heel basketball fans out there? Seth Trimble broke his forearm and is out 2 months after a great start is the cherry on top. GRRRRRR

I go to the games. I buy my season tickets. But it's more out of reflex at this point. I don't blindly cheer for them anymore, almost 40 years in the NFL meat grinder has worn me down. They win, that's great - high fives. Lose, oh well. Always next decade. The athletes here today will be the enemy tomorrow (Diggs, Hollins) - it all seems trite at times. I do like talking about what the coaching staff we're stuck with FOREVER can do to eek out a few more wins this season. But that isn't what we're talking about here. -

He would still be a first-time play caller. He didn't call the plays when he was OC in Chicago; Trestman did. -

Klint Kubiak is going to be the hot name this hiring cycle. Kliff Kingsbury is a possibility I suppose. Nobody else really excites me. I've seen Jim Bob Cooter's name mentioned but that's not his offense in Indy. I would prefer someone who is offensive minded paired with an experienced DC. -

Considering we still have a GM and we might have the same one in September it's hard to know who's going to be available when or if our job opens up I do know that I would prefer somebody who has considerable scouting experience if it does open... More than just front office experience -
The word "hero" gets used a lot these days. Celebrities are called heroes when courageously disclosing personal information about their sexual orientation, drug abuse, or whatever. Political commentators are called heroes for expressing uncomfortable "truths." Athletes are called heroes for playing through injuries. I'm not demeaning of that. But, to me, people who risk their lives in the service of something greater than themselves are the real heroes. Bob Kalsu was one of them. www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/memorial-day-memories-of-bob-kalsu

T.J. Sanders to return to practice this week from IR
Billz4ever replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dallas gave 2026 2nd and 2027 first. For the Bills to beat that, that's probably at least the Bills 2026 and 2027 firsts based on where we typically pick, and maybe an additional later round pick and that's if the Jets were even interested in making the deal with a division rival. In any case, it would've needed to be a massive overpay. He's a good player, but I'm not doing that. Garrett WIlson on the other hand would make me think hard even though I don't know how they'd fit his contract into the cap situation. -
Yeah bc defense has always been a liability on Bill Belichick coached teams 🙄

I saw some stat that through the first 10 games.. players in history to have 2,500+ passing yards, 70.0%+ completions, 250+ yds rushing, 5 or fewer INTs... is? Drake Maye. That's it, that's the list. He's god. -

McDermott is on his 9th 1/32 chance. 8 of those with one of the two top QBs in the NFL. Its just not a good performance. -

Ok, but Terry was given his name from the consulting firm. If he was Whaley's favorite out of what they provided, great. Didnt mean much because Terry was ready to move on anyways.
