  1. Past hour
  2. I dont know, man. Miami didnt start a single drive inside the 20 after a kick off, even after a penalty (set them back from the 32 to 27). But seemed like they were real close to breaking one for a TD at least twice last night.
  3. I just watched that one. The Bills did well on that play to force Tua off his mark. What they didn't do well was lose track of Hill as he cut across the middle as Tua scrambled. Benford, who had him, released him to help on Waddle deep. There was no way that Tua, on the run, could throw 40 yards downfield across his body. As it was, he threw across his body on the run. The pass was behind Hill and way too high. Hill made one heck of a catch. He had to reach behind him to get it and was so high off the ground that he probably could have dunked a basketball.
  4. There's a difference between complaining and pointing out issues
  5. What mistake did Henry make? I remember Oliver knocking the ball out of Henry's hands. That is a great defensive play. No?
  6. And the plays Tua made where he was running and chucking, he can't make those throws in inclement weather - at all. He can only do that on the road in September or in a home playoff game (which ain't happening).
  7. The TOs at the end of the first half were the stupidest use of TOs. You didn't have the third TO to use on 3rd down, so why not let the clock work for you? Get the Fish to use their TOs and let them run out of time or kick the FG. Stopping the clock there gave them the time to score the TD. Just ***** stupid.
  8. Thanks, Muppy! Here ya go, @billsFORlife50. Go Bills!
  9. We are supposed to trust "academic research" on ideological motivations for political violence when more than a week after the biggest political assassination in this country in 60 years they're still lying about the "unknown motives" of the assassin. Yeah, hard pass on your "research"
  10. This is all gibberish. You claim that an FCC reg as violated that considers “integrity,” and all I’ve asked you to do is identify the reg. You can’t or won’t do that, and then you spread a lie by some Twitter guy. So, by your logic, you would be removed from TBD if it was a public broadcaster because, like, “integrity.” By a private actor. Not by the government. And after trying to overthrow the government. Prove me wrong. Me speech. Not free speech. And you call yourself a conservative. You don’t even know what the word means. Not true. There’s a protocol for matters of this nature that the FCC did not follow. Prove me wrong.
  11. I tried to post to this back in June but only just got my membership approved I've followed the bills since 1989 and being from the UK we got very little NFL coverage back in those days. I saw the bills on the highlights show one weekend and that was it, I loved Thurman Thomas especially. An old friend of mine who is a Bears fan is the one who got me into the sport, and he's told me recently I chose the better team to follow as the constant hope and then disappoinment of the bears is killing him lol Great memories (not of the results) of staying up late as a 12-15 year old for the 4 superbowls (with my tv on really low volume so my parents didn't know), I'd give my left arm for the bills to get to another one
  12. Of course. I was joking. Winning is all that matters. I think it's ridiculous that people complain about the lack of long passes after wins. I just need to remember that my sarcasm doesn't always translate to the Internet.
  13. We hired someone specifically for this recently (last year?). Additionally, not challenging the spot in the Ravens game was the right call. Spots are almost impossible to change/overturn on replay. And even more subjective when you throw a slide into the equation. Was a better decision to hold onto the time out.
  14. You mean the piss poor downfield passing game that beat the Ravens in the 4th quarter? Looked potent to me. Last year we saw a similar offense for most of the season but at LA & Detroit circumstances turned the games into shootouts with Allen throwing the ball downfield and we exploded. I have no reason to think the same won't be true this season, especially after what we saw in the Ravens game.
  15. Yes, dayumm good work, IF YOU CAN GET IT. Go give it a shot and tell us how it worked out for ya.
  16. I think you are. I think the odds the return team screws something up or takes a penalty or fumbles is a lot better than giving them the ball at the 35 guaranteed. Sure, there's a risk they take it to the 40, but who cares? That's an extra 5 yards and great position either way. A muffed catch or a penalty or a great tackle pins them anywhere from the 15 and under. That's a 20+ yard difference in field position. That's the difference between starting your next drive on the 50 or the 25.

    3 up 3 down

So much of how badly our CBs were beat is on McD's scheme. We played Tre waaay off of Waddle most of the time, even when they were inside the 5yd line. I know McD does it to avoid getting beaten deep, but Miami will just complete a short pass every time & run for another 10+. Soft Zone & Off-Man are exactly what Miami wants you to play against them. McD seems to be the only person who can't comprehend this.
  18. You’re ok with them making more than you?
  19. The issue is his booth guys have sucked for 9 years now. It's on him to put the right people in there and he's never done it.
  20. I thought the main topic was silencing free speech? Trump was silenced. Yep.
  21. I have seen some kickers nailing the bounce in the target zone, and that is 100% the best strategy. Requires some real talent from the kicker though to hit that consistently.
  22. Genetic Lotto
  23. Then it’s his job to get a new Booth guy. He’s 0-2 3 games in that were pretty clear and obvious.
  24. I disagree. At least they made the kick off return a viable part of the game again which had been lacking since the days of Devin Hester. I just think teams need to come up with better strategies on kick off coverage. With teams starting at the 35 and how good kickers are, it only takes about 25-30 yards to get into FG range. If I am a returner I am downing it every chance I get. Kickers should start working with the punters more to work on ball placement and directional kicking which are now much more important. I actually think it’s exciting as kickers now need to develop whole new skill sets instead of just booming it into the end zone like they did in previous years.
  25. on that non challenge, isn’t it our booth guy’s fault? He tells McD to challenge or not.
