I imagine he’s not happy with an insider telling someone in the media they think it is season ending as soon as last night or this morning. Normally teams want an injured player to go through the process of tests, MRIs, evaluations, multiple opinions, etc. before they tell the media the details of the situation. I can see him being upset over how it was handled by his staff rather then him trying to play games to hide an injury against league rules.

Last night you were upset at my reaction to your “has anyone ever gone in a Cracker Barrel” bit and here you are tonight aggravated with a meme. Look at you go!!

Hoecht makes it for sure, so they'll cut someone unless they have a spot free due to IR. Not sure on Ogunjobi, though. I removed White, Lundt, and Forrest. -

Perhaps somebody will start a thread that turns out to be Tre White and his potential injury when there is some actual news.

Eric Dickerson Claims Teams Were Told To Not Draft Shedeur Sanders

Example of what, or for what? -
Who's leeching? It's broadcast over the air and on premium channels for which I pay. That's leeching? Give me a break. (And I happened to purchase no fewer than four PSLs at the new stadium, so while we're on the subject of leeching maybe you can show some cards in that respect.)

But what was his 40 time?

Oh Roundy has banged a multitude of trans women. He's got game.

That's really what we're talking about here. Taste, or poor taste, depending on one's perspective. That's it. Have the yacht, don't have the yacht, whatever. I think it's in poor taste to take $850m in taxpayer subsidy to fund a business and to then turn around and buy a $100m yacht. Others feel differently, and they're entitled to that opinion for many valid reasons. That about sums the whole thing up. All of this is well said. I'm not mad at the guy. I appreciate that he invested the money here and kept the team here. But I'm mindful of the fact that it's an immensely profitable business, and I personally would not have taken gobs of taxpayer money and then bought a yacht. It's not how I work. The question is taste, and look, and it's not for me. And some others. But there are more who don't really care about the optics or who don't see it the same way. Whatevs.

People are unhappy with the return on investment to this point on Keon Coleman, imagine Drafting Ja'Lynn Polk 4 picks later. In his Rookie season, he played in 15 games and had 7 starts. His stat total for the year were 12 catches, for 87 yards, and 2 TD's. Now he's potentially missing Year 2 to an injury. Ouch.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet but a thought just occurred to me. Eff Vrabel. That is all.

Bus Rollover Accident in Genesse Co. [breaking]
rusty shackleford replied to boyst's topic in Off the Wall
I was actually in a tour bus rollover accident not too long ago in a very remote location. Luckily everyone walked away with minor scrapes and bruises. Makes you think about how suddenly things can change. -
not even remotely the same thing.
-
i tend to agree with you.

You probably watched the game only. It’s about individual evaluation. When you watch the All 22 Film, you can see what players won their battles. Roos has been outstanding. Oliver is playing great
-
Ingram and Jackson to me were both likely cuts on my 53 at the start of camp. Now bc of the rash of injuries, it's not only practically a lock they'll both stick, one of them will potentially be starting Week 1.

I tend to think is Clemson is overrated, but I agree the ACC is a bit disrespected. It’s not the SEC, but it’s certainly not the worst. I’ve always thought the Big Ten was overrated. They have some blue bloods, but the second tier isn’t very good. It was Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State with a bunch of bad teams before the west coast schools joined.

Early in our marriage I took my wife to Toronto to see a buddy and experience the city. We did drinks at the CN tower, live music by people he knew around town and then we went to the Skydome to see Jim Abbott pitch. I was stunned seeing it live. How the….. 🤷♂️ At some point I got up to tour the stadium and grab beers. When I returned the dome was closed. I think it was witches! Silent and swift, they were! This was about a week after some couple in the attached hotel mistakenly (or not?) assumed their room window looking down onto the field did not provide a clear view into their room, and what they were doing. No one way glass there. We missed that exact night, but my buddy still had his newspaper with the photos they included. Pretty loose about that stuff up in our attic (Kathleen Madigan reference) compared to here. After the game we did bars and parties until the sun came up. Jim Abbott was an important part of the longest 24 hours of my life! 🤣 -
If Trans women are women then why don’t you go ahead and show us all a picture of a trans woman you would be willing to have sex with. In fact let’s make a wager. I will say trans woman are women if you post said picture as your avatar for one month.

Of the potential CB2 replacements, I find myself growing most comfortable with Jamarcus Ingram starting - specifically for the ravens matchup week 1. I think he has a little more size and tackling ability to hold up against those Derrick Henry sweep plays that always seem to get him in position to truck stick CB’s on the outside.
-
I don't think there would be a CB trade. We're too close to the start of the Regular Season to plug and play someone in McDermott's complicated Secondary scheme. My guess if there were to be a move at CB bc Tre is out long term, it would be Rasul Douglas. He's a guy they could plug and play alongside Jackson, Strong, and Ingram. It wouldn't be what I'd do, as I think he's toast. But this regime has shown time and again that they prefer familiarity with McDermott's Defense over ability.
