Traditionally, the Bills have never been very good at stopping the run. We need players that can better anchor at 1-tech. We have Jones, but he isn't getting younger and each season gets dinged...likely a scenario that happens more vs less frequently. Folks are high on Walker, but as Jerry O. has mentioned perception has not quite matched reality. He is a rookie who is not there yet and needs to grow into the role, but shows some promise. They could use another young 1T to add to the rotation and depth whose strength is run stuffing over the penetration qualities they tend to prioritize. LB is an interesting take. Teams either have thumpers and as we have seen with TB they are great at filling gaps and stopping the run, but they cannot skate with TEs and RBs as receivers. The Bills prioritized smaller LBs with some speed, but they get blown up and injured when asked to take on blockers and tackle RBs...especially if your DL cannot anchor and be gap sound. Dorian is more of a thumper that does a great job as a spy mirror or playing downhill near the line. So we have some situational packages that may help hide the warts. Would be great if the Bills could find a unicorn at LB with size and speed and a knack for finding the right gap and finishing tackles. I think Taron's play has tailed off too and that has not helped and we may need an upgrade at nickel if Father time is just catching up to him.

We won't be favored at the Razor. FTFY.

i seriously can’t believe this worked with mark andrews. It was a very slow developing play too, with him sort of looping around slowly.

Legitimately one of the funniest guys I've ever seen in the league.

Josh is 7-0 on Thursdays. That makes the Bills’ moneyline a solid bet. The spread is tricky, because of Houston’s stingy defense. I might bump the spread to +7.5 and take Houston.

Great example! Dorian fits way too wide instead of fitting tight off the down down. Should have been a tackle for loss, but because he’s two steps too wide it hit for 7-8. His initial attack step and read are good in that clip. His angle is too flat which is why he works to wide instead of working a more downfield angle to fit tight.

Texans have a good defense. Definitely agree about not being super predictable on offense. This is the kind of game we will know if we have the right OC or not.

At this point, I think the division is no longer available as the Patriots have a much easier schedule. They have a 4th-place schedule this year, and Buffalo faced a first-place schedule. At this point, I hope they can make the playoffs. Texans, Steelers, Bengals (with Joe Burrow back), Patriots, Browns, Eagles, Jets. At 7-3 with 6 games to go, and 4 of the 6 look tough. 14-3 would be sweet, but with the way the current defense is playing? Patriots play, Bengals (Ja'Mar Chase suspended), NY Giants, Bills, Ravens, NY Jets, Dolphins. currently 9-2. With only 2 tough games, the Ravens are tough because they will play in Baltimore. 13-4 looks likely. Every game will be a huge test, considering how the defense can't stop the run. Now I don't get how they stopped Carolina, though.

I bet the Bills vs KC for the simple reason, always bet Buffalo when they are home dogs, its rare. Plus KC is our well documented “Super Bowl”. I also bet Tampa +6, that seemed like a lock until it wasn’t. As for Houston, I think this is a decent spot for the Bills -5.5. McDermott is always good at getting the guys to remember. last seasons game in Houston was dreadful. Josh had his worst game ever, he won’t forget. Plus the Bills had two prime time stinkers (NE and ATL) and they will want to fix that asap.

And I thought the Bills’ PR was weird
