  2. My Guess is he will sit until he has to play week 10 or 11 so he Accumulates a full season toward Free agency. If he does that, I franchise him.
  3. I don’t think a trade of Cook would be done unless we get a player back that can help us this year. I’m not saying some mega deal for Parsons, but I don’t think it would be Cook for a 3rd.
  4. He had a PFF score of 50 last year which is pretty bad. He's a borderline starter FOR THAT TEAM at best.
  5. Cook thinks he is a top 3 back in the NFL. He'll want more than Williams got.
  6. They weren't there to replace Hughes. They were there to start opposite him.
  7. Apparently Mack Hollins is having a bad training camp and a lot of Pats fans don't want him to make the team.
  8. After seeing Tre White got married to Ikea Perrier I'm now filled with regret for never asking out Temu Schweppes.
  9. It's still an NFL films product even if it runs on HBO. And so they're sticking with the classic style.
  10. I agree with the"late bloomer" which is something community college is there for, not just kids who are not stellar students but people who once were terrible students but care now.
  11. They tried. They brought in guys like Addison and Murphy to replace him and none of them were as good as Jerry. Teams generally don’t move on from their best pass rusher without having a plan to replace them.
  12. This is awesome. I love this guy.
  13. The Rams did us a favor by extending Williams. I think it helps us extend Cook at a reasonable deal similar to what they did.
  14. When they said it I thought they were talking about about tubing down the mighty Niagara.
  15. Cook's biggest mistake to date was his initial very public social media demands.... I can't believe that went over very well..
  16. I am counting on Beane not being dumb enough to jettison his most dynamic offensive weapon, the Bills only elite offensive weapon, and the fastest, most elusive player on the roster--and right before a season with such high expectations. I am betting on the first option, to end this nonsense now. Something like: 13, 14, 15 with most of it guaranteed, locking up the biggest offensive threat for 3 years for under 45 million. Should be a tremendous bargain by the end of this season. Soon!
  17. Since we are throwing out non McBeane era, let’s not forget Daryl Lamonica.
  18. I, for one, feel bad for the kid. Imagine all the work he put in, he finally gets to the NFL, and his body lets him down. Hopefully he has a degree to fall back on. Good luck Braylon.
  19. I was walking out of court recently watching a father berate his son (apparently the kid just took a plea to a minor offense) about getting his life together. The kid was maybe 20. Obviously not in college, not doing anything useful. Dad: You live at home with me for a few years. You start working at UPS. You get your CDL. You'll be able to put away $20K a year with no living expenses. By the time you're 25 you'll have a down payment for a house and you'll be set up for a good life. (I got the sense that the dad had done something like this himself.) Kid wasn't really listening. I like the idea of tracking/vocational training as long as we leave a route open for the late bloomers. The 14 year old kid tracked into more vocational training who still gets a diploma and later can restart at community college, etc, if he wants to be a teacher or an accountant or something that isn't a traditional trade.
  20. There's very few people I've heard from that doesn't like Liev Schreiber's voice as the narrator. Would you prefer Maddy Glab?
  21. Traded him for a 5th and 6th rounder, though. So at least we got something.
  22. I was at that game. Wore my raincoat in my Dads car
