Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
GASabresIUFan replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't see Coleman getting traded in the off-season. I do see the Bills drafting 2 WRs. Samuel is gone after this season. Moore is as well. Coleman only costs 2.75 to keep (5.9 to cut). The WR room for next season looks like Shakir, Palmer, Coleman and probably Shavers. That leaves 2 openings for rookie draft picks and or maybe even Gabe Davis if he continues to play like he did against the Bucs. -

If I recall, scouts saw that receiver draft class (outside of Harrison, Nabers and Odunze) as mostly #2 guys with high upside. Most of the other prospects were really strong in some areas, but also had glaring weaknesses that would probably keep them from becoming a WR1 in the NFL. For instance, guys like Thomas and Worthy had elite speed, but big questions on other parts of their game. McConkey and Pearsall were seen mostly as slot-only receivers. Coleman and Mitchell had size, but lacked in route-running, etc. I was pretty excited going into that draft with us really needing a WR. But the more I learned about them, the more I wanted to trade-up into the Top 10. -
Pleasantly surprised that Poyer is still doing well enough at his age. Many of us thought he was washed a while back. I think he's likely a big factor in Bishop's recent development. Would like the far younger and athletic Hancock to earn the role next year.

Since the Bills are not playing on Sunday, watch the Bengals vs. Pats game. Ja'Marr Chase is suspended, so you get to see what Tee HIggins looks like as a #1 without the best WR in the game drawing double coverage across from him. Flacco, depending on his shoulder, is more than capable of getting him the ball. I he doesn't show out in a must-win game, it will be very telling. -
McD is doing a good job at safety with the in season moves. I think Po while he's been not great as a pure safety he hasn't been bad and he has had a major impact on Cole and possibly others in the secondary with how much he knows the system. He's been a major help and also I think playing Handcock 15-20 snaps a game at safety has helped ease him into that role while keeping Po more fresh. I think Po and Tre are both showing in more limited roles that they can still be effective. And my hope is that Handcock can take more and more snaps as he gains more experience as each week goes by.

JA - 1st player in NFL history with multiple 3 pass/3 run games
Watkins101 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably not, Matt Stafford has 1 less total TD, but 6 less turnovers with similar total yardage and a better record. Stafford has a better offense around him, but at this point the turnover difference gives the edge to Stafford. -

so, it really feels like we are where we were last season, but about a month ahead and a rockier road. we got all our defensive injuries early, we got our best offensive weapon hurt already, we had our swoon, we had our offense stuck in the mud, and then allen had his "what is wrong with that man" alien performance, but it was dec instead of nov last season, and our defense and special teams were even worse then than they are now. i hope we come out at texans like how we came out last year at detroit, and just put the belt to that ass. -

So WR carousel will continue on Thursday will Samuels hurt again and Mecole injured as well. I guess Moore returns as does Coleman. -

He passed Peyton Manning too... And also is the most productive player on a per game basis All-time in the history of the NFL in both regular and post season in terms of TD/game. -
But you focus on the Bills weaknesses and likely don't watch the other contenders' games as closely. No one says the Bills have "fixed" their run defense, it has sucked particularly in the last two games. They have been OK at times. But the point is that every team has problems. The odds are what they are because we are grading on a curve here, not in absolute terms. Maybe that is mumbo jumbo, but I don't think so. You are having a recency bias, but the odds look at the bigger picture.

Thomas Massie's Latest Epstein Files Claim Is Too Cute by Half FTA: MASSIE: Some people have said, ‘Well, how will you know that he’s released the files?’ We will know when rich and powerful men are implicated. So they’ve claimed that they’ve been releasing thousands, tens of thousands of documents to Congress already. But what we’ve discovered is there’s not a single new name in those documents. We know because we have survivors through their lawyers who’ve told us that they have names. We know, they know who’s in those files, and we’ll know if he’s given us a complete release. Let me stop him right there because that's not how this works. The absence of evidence is not evidence in and of itself, and it's a logical fallacy to assert that unless the files tell him what he wants to hear, that must indicate there are more files. If there's not a "single new name," it is perfectly possible that's because there are no more names. Suspicions of a broader conspiracy, and I've had my own over the years surrounding this case, are not sufficient in this context. As to the claim that there are survivors who have "told us that they have names," that is hopelessly ambiguous. What if the names are just the names we already know? Regardless, at some point, and that point was a while ago, if they aren't willing to release the names and make their accusations public, then there's nothing else to be done here. I realize the response will be that they signed NDAs, but NDAs can not legally be used to cover up criminal activity, and in such a situation, can be broken to report the crime to the police. This entire thing has turned into a game of circular logic, where a lack of evidence is treated as evidence, and the best sources (the victims) aren't expected to actually be sources. Why would I care what Epstein's emails say if almost all the women he trafficked are alive and able to testify? If rich and powerful people committed sex crimes in conjunction with Epstein, then they need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Turning this purely into a political issue, absconding from any attempt at legal justice against these suggested other perpetrators, is just a bit too convenient for me. I think Massie knows that, but he's so deep in his own sauce that he can't be objective anymore. https://redstate.com/bonchie/2025/11/18/thomas-massies-latest-epstein-files-claim-is-too-cute-by-half-n2196309

Under attack, for example, from government collusion with and coercing of social media platforms to censor views and opinions deemed critical of the regime? What you're glossing over is the fact Democrats under the Biden administration threw the first punch in the effort to suppress free of speech. Add in deploying street goons to inflict violence on those participating in protests and events where the exercise of free speech is attacked and you've got all that authoritarian crap the liberal cult complains about. -
Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
billsfan89 replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would rather ride out Torrence for the last year of his rookie deal given that the Bills are likely to have some turnover along the interior O-line next season with McGovern and Edwards both being free agents and the high possibility that at least one if not both are gone. I would rather keep Torrence there so at least one of the three interior O-line players are still there. I think scouring the trade market for some high risk value like BTJ or MHJ is going to be what it takes since the Bills can't count on finding WR's where they will be drafting (hard for any team to do so) so trying to find a reclamation project who might pop with a better system/QB play is the best way to go. -

While it's nice to get these niche records, Cam and Kordell aren't HoF players he's passing. I think we'd all prefer to see the 2020 Josh come back but Beane has repeatedly failed to put the players around him in the passing game since after the 2021 season(when the concerns about the WR core really began......at the time wrt the lack of speed after John Brown had flamed out). -

Keon's also being thrown long routes toward the sideline which a lot harder to complete than most routes it may play a part in that catch% you quote Ladds actually gotten worse from last year from 73% to 64% compared to Keon that improved from to 50% to 65% but hmmmm guess Keon sucks. -
they miss if one team from the afc west (not the division winner), south, and east finish with a better record. technically pittz or baltimore can finish with a better record than them in the north (and not win the division) but i just don't think that's likely. one of NE or us are for sure gonna finish with a better record, so it's down to the chargers (i'm saying broncos win the division) and jags, with maybe like houston and pittz/balti being a mega outsider. looking at the schedules coming up, KC has some tough games and does not look like they can run the table. I think they finish 8 or 9 and miss teh playoffs.

Win on Thursday and the playoffs are all but certain I think. I'm on holiday in Mexico too so I don't need to be up in the middle of the night to watch.
