To a degree this lets Brady off the hook, or at least doesn't give a true read on him. If you just call your plays over and over and over and the reason they work is because one of your two superstars in the backfield just make it work, then who knows if you're up to the job of scheming successful matchups or not? The games where Allen or Cook don't do enough over-and-above what can be expected, the Bills O looks like they have no plan, which might be closer to the truth than not.

What the hell is up with you guys looking at today’s offense and trying to extrapolate through the playoffs? This isn’t the offense we are going to use the rest of the season. It was an opponent specific offense that WORKED and got us the W. Yes, we all know we aren’t going to beat many teams without an intermediate or downfield passing game. But guess what, Brady actually called a good game today and it WORKED. We needed the W, we got the W. We played to the weaknesses of the opposing defense for once. I’m not even talking about our defense which has been stepping up a bit recently. Too many of you look at one game and try and predict the next 5 from it. This is not the gameplan we will have against other teams, it worked against the Steelers so enjoy the W and re-fkn-lax a bit

I totally agree with you that we need more from the intermediate and deep passing game. My only point is that this isn’t that game that we should have tried that, and we didn’t need to. Given our injuries and Pitts defensive line, there wasn’t going to be the time to exploit that. I’m sure with the All-22 we are going to see a couple deep shots called that Josh didn’t take for whatever reason.

Then Davis stayed for the most part between the tackles also his strength .. TJ with very key first downs. RB were outstanding but Cook makes nfl defenders look silly. That is rare.

Outside of Washington somehow sneaking by him for a catch down the seam later in the game he looked pretty good. He also got rag dolled on a run to the left side but those are the only warts I can remember.
