It’s a combination of things. Sometimes they don’t get open. Sometimes the play design is bad. Sometimes they do get open and Josh misses them. Sometimes Josh fails to anticipate them coming open and bails from the pocket. Sometimes Josh is inaccurate. Sometimes the receivers drop it or fail to get feet down in bounds.

Which might be fine. We'd have to know how those rates differ among the great offenses in the league (e.g. Colts) to know whether we could optimize better. I pretty much guarantee no team is 50/50 run/pass out of shotgun, for example. 20% might be the right number to keep defenses honest. It reminds me of poker. Staying balanced doesn't mean you bluff half the time. You just have to bluff enough that your opponents know you are capable of bluffing in that situation, and sometimes they call you down when you have the goods.

After that game we are😂 When he started to “ run” on that first strip/fumble I swear he reminded me of Kelly running…. It was awesome.

10/26/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Panthers post game thread

Yeah, concussions can be weird. My daughter could pass her concussion test but had light sensitivity and intermittent brain fog for weeks. I kind of suspect that is what's going on with Josh, and he can't tell anyone or he'll have to sit. Yesterday's second tush push TD, he ran it standing straight up which I found odd and made me wonder if he was protecting his head? He's definitely not thinking the game as well the last two games, at least. One other odd thing is that the last two games he's been trying to mostly roll left to escape the pocket which I have no idea what that's about? -
The New Guys: Hairston, Hoecht, Ogunjobi plus Hancock
Buffalo Boy replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hairston smacking the runner on the end around was nice. Tells me he is comfortable after the injury. Hoecht looked like a potential game wrecker and the “ energy “ he brought is something we haven’t seen on this D since? While not new, Shaq gets a shout out too. Dude needs to be on the field as a starter from here on out. For those who didn’t see it, he was an integral part of the AJE pick. They showed a closeup replay of him calling the screen before the ball was snapped. But, next week will give us a better idea about this D and how it is being called. And I suppose the O as well. -

Cook, and O Line for sure, but several of the WRs are not consistently getting open.

The return of the "tush push"........

McDermott voted to ban it for player safety. Didn’t want to be a hypocrite. -
The New Guys: Hairston, Hoecht, Ogunjobi plus Hancock

yeah the defense looked much improved. We'll see how they look Vs KC. Walker looked good again and is really coming along, and it's also great (fingers and toes crossed)to see Bosa still healthy. Ed was the one bad spot, oh and Taron who looks a shell of his former self. -

Panthers shut out the Falcons 33-0. Just let that sink in.😆 -
We’ve been getting some help for my dad, and one thing I found useful was the carers card uk. It helps show that you're a carer, and some places offer discounts or priority services because of it

How often does a storm like this happen? Once every 100 year storm? I am sure they really care to overbuild something in Jamaica... Especially with an industry that's just over a 100 years old on a major what if. Yeah, just throw cash around in Jamaica on something that's never happened.😆 I guess if it gets destroyed now, build it a little better next time. Sorry for the cynicism.😉

The New Guys: Hairston, Hoecht, Ogunjobi plus Hancock
Ray Stonada posted a topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't remember a game this late in a season where three potentially important players saw their first action in a Bills uniform. Our defense looked completely different and while part of it might be McD calling plays, a lot of it has to be these guys, who know where to be and run fast enough to get there... What did you think? I am especially curious to hear what the us watch all-22 have to say... how did they look? Maxwell Hairston, CB, #31: For me, Hairston flashed as an athlete, no question. Love to see it and sorely needed on the Bills. Michael Hoecht, DE, #55: Hoecht looked like he was lifting a car off a kid: crazy strength and fury in his play style. Loved it. Larry Ogunjobi, DT, #99: Ogunjobi: saw him in on some tackles but I didn't really get a sense of him. Jordan Hancock, DB, #37: Hancock is not new, but he had five tackles and generally looked good! -
We used a local caregiver found through word of mouth and had a great experience. Flexibility was key, she helped with meals, meds, light cleaning, and company during the day.

There's a lot of AJE hate on this board but I thought he made a highlight reel play on the interception, especially the part where the ball bounced off his knee and he snared it. And I can still visualize him blowing Tua up a few years ago.

I've got to admit it, I felt bad for Andy yesterday.

I think this is the third time the Bills have been called for a formation penalty in a critical situation in recent weeks. In my view this is on the coaches. These guys are professionals, but that's a Jr. High mistake. It's a little like the time I saw a JV pitcher take a full windup with a man on first. The runner practically walked to second base.

May have hurt his leg again. Who knows. When healthy he's damn good imo but he can't stay healthy.

This is a pet peeve of mine, "Edge" would be OK (but a bit silly) but EDGE means "I don't understand simple English usage" I think it's an acronym, maybe for End Defense Get Eating. Or maybe something else. (Excuse me, maybe something ELSE) Anyone else have any ideas? And since when do we "get contain"?? Shouldn't it be "containment"?

I don't see a realistic opening at all until after Allen has already been lasso'd by his shirt. Until 2 has got to Kinkaid's depth, Moore is still in a borderline unreachable spot without high risk for interception.

Bills- Panthers Snap Counts

I thought our Flanker played well today. The Split Ends, not so much.
