  1. Past hour
  2. Matthew Stafford seems like a pretty good dude, and I’m not usually one to compliment random players. He fully embraced Detroit, but eventually did what’s best for his legacy. If Stafford did it, I think anyone would.
  3. I never said Stafford's not a stud We play a couple bad games and the sky is falling.. we could absolutely beat the Rams Literally I think it's 50/50 if they played 10 times I said they're nowhere near close to being the best team in the league that is unbeatable This entire year is full of NFL parity... Even the Eagles best wide receiver AJ Brown wants to get traded because Jalen hurts can't throw him the football consistently The bills even without the any given Sunday mantra could beat the Rams.. they are not 2-8 Much better would mean 10 points spread the type of spreads the bills have been seeing occasionally for The last 5 years with Josh Allen It would literally be -2.5 Rams that's not insanely more talented
  4. I can def definitely see the pats losing 1 or two besides buffalo & Baltimore. We'll see how it unfolds
  5. This is fascinating. What team really wanted Cooks?
  6. Posts like this are so funny. You are basing this off of a well crafted public image with access to more resources than you and I can fathom. Yes I think he's a great dude especially compared to a lot of other players, but come on. If, and I'm hoping obviously this isn't how it plays out, things don't get better in Buffalo within 2 years, yeah, I think there's a greater than 50% chance at that point he gets out. If things are still ass in 2 years it likely means the offense hasn't been fixed, the defense has let us down, the coaching mess has gotten messier, Allen has spent 2 years getting hit more than he ever has, and most importantly, we aren't winning like we once were and we are no longer Super Bowl contenders. Unfortunately, if this season doesn't magically come together, and then if this offseason doesn't somehow fix this team, I think we're kinda screwed. At that point it will essentially be obvious we are in more of a rebuild situation than just a "patch things up here and there situation" and personally I don't expect Allen to endure that. And I'm not sure I trust this GM and this coaching staff to get things resolved on that short a time frame. Yes we all hope and pray the Bills win and right the ship, and yes I am not trying to be doom and gloom, but I think people should be a bit more honest with themselves at how precarious this situation is and the reality of the business. Beane proved at the trade deadline that he is not willing to do what it takes to win a Super Bowl. Either Allen has played Mr. Nice Guy for too long, or Beane truly doesn't give a ***** about what Josh wants and needs, but we were/are clearly in a situation to go all out to make a championship push. Beane being such a tool that he wouldn't even accommodate Miami for which 1st round pick they wanted tells you all you need to know. Let alone the other players outside the division he could have added if he had sweetened the pot just a little bit more. It's not like we're gonna hit with those picks anyways. If Beane had done his job better, McD and even Brady (who is clearly out of his depth and has been from the get go) would not be facing the scheme issues they are facing. We would have enough players of a high enough caliber to compensate. But we don't. And here we are. That is the reality whether or not we want to tell ourselves Josh is too good a soul to leave Buffalo. Respectfully, get real.
  7. I agree, and I don’t think Allen is going anywhere so it’s a moot point. However, in a hypothetical situation, I don’t think an owner pointing these things out makes a guy stay. It’s human nature to give ourselves credit for success. If a player was truly disgruntled, the godfather like “we made you” isn’t going to work. It’s not about the past, it’s about the present. It’s like reminding your partner in a failing marriage that you once “saved “ them. It might be true, but that doesn’t matter when the here and now is a failure. We aren’t necessarily indebted to those who “made us”, we must seek out the best opportunities.
  8. My smart ass son walked into the room when I was watching a movie and asked “Hey Dad, what does the WE in the corner stand for?”
  9. The "D" despite playing mostly rookies and guys that are undersized or old - most should be on the practice squad vs suiting up to start held their own for the most part and kept the offense in the game. This time the offense did nothing but put them in a lot of bad positions with turnovers and poor field position. In a word this team has been "inconsistent". When they do well so many folks here get amnesia about how crappy they played the week before and freak out over any critique, but the chinks and the execution stink is still there following this team around even after a big offensive showing. I felt that in this game it was the OL's turn. They simply did not match the intensity of the Texans who often just rushed 4, sometimes 3 DL players and still whooped up and beat them with effort and beat them getting to their spots to setup blocks. Josh needs to reset his internal clock when playing a good defense as it has to be 1 one thousand, 2 one thousand, and I am either throwing it to a receiver, or out of bounds, or getting a few yards running forward even if it is not enough to move the chains. There was an alarming lack of effort and focus that has plagued the OL too. Even in Pop Warner we learned to block to the whistle, not block till you feel like stopping. Too many O-Linemen standing around watching Josh get pummeled. That being said, I took no exception to Van Demark taking his guy to the ground. When you are beat that is better than a weaka$$ hold that gets Allen killed and you still get the penalty. Too many play calls coming in late and confusion from that offensive staff. Seemed like Josh was waiting too long for those all night and struggled to hear a bit with the way he was covering the ear holes on his helmet. Also when we fans can see players hurt or clearly gassed, why can't the coaches. Several times guys I saw guys dinged on plays or clearly needing a sub and nada. No substitution and usually a poor play followed. This has been an inconsistent team and certainly not complimentary, but kudos to the ST coach and players that seemed to have decent game plans and the fire to compete the past few games. It's a bright spot, but there needs to be some shakeup from the coaches and core players this season. IMO I would have to see more than one or even 2 game sample of professional execution from players and the coaching staff before I start drinking the Kool aid again. Not just one group here and another group there somehow manages to find a desperate way to overcome another mistake-riddled performance.
  10. Well hallmark channel is basically like the lifetime network so I sure hope it's your wife forcing you and not the other way around
  11. Dick, aren't you taking your dirt nap now ? Pats would have to go 12-5 even if the Bills beat them.
  12. If buffalo goes 13-4 they'll be the 1 seed imo
  13. Can you share whether you have been huffing glue, paint, or turpentine? I've been meaning to resupply and could use a good recommendation.
  14. You ask a lot of stupid questions...
  15. By Houston winning it hurts the Chiefs chances of making the playoffs That’s it
  16. I’ve been a Bills and Sabres fan for 55 years.
  17. We shouldn't need a full rebuild. Look at the Rams and Seahawks. If Clappys scheme has us undersized on D then he or it must go. Beanes scouting system is failing. No impact defenders in 8 seasons. Philly brings in vets like Zach Baun. Other playoff teams are improving while we regress.
  18. My wife just freaking saved it
  19. Fish stinks from the head down. Beane and McDermott
  20. You are using last week against a divisional opponent to insinuate he isn't a top tier QB? I am looking at the big picture. He is unbelievable this season and no AFC team is stopping that offense. The Eagles probably can stop them. Adams is not even 33 yet lulz System wide receiver or not, he gets open and produces. He is a top WR. On paper, the Rams are much better than us. But any given Sunday.
  21. They certainly aren't a "lean and mean" team. It's always been a problem.
  22. Well they tried to alter his current contract so that he’d likely go unclaimed on waivers and he could decide where he’d go next. Because it sounds like with how his contract currently stands, teams are more likely to submit waiver claims and Cooks wouldn’t control where he goes.
