This is the solution I've always favored as well; just turn off the game clock and go. But man, it could be fraught with peril. What if you have two really bad offenses with a couple vicious defenses, particularly in a relatively meaningless game. That could go on long enough to create the kind of conditions that get people hurt, and for no good reason. I don't think that's something that anybody wants. Maybe set the clock to 20:00 and see if that's shows a tendency toward having more games decided, and if it doesn't then try increasing increments 'til it does?

Long snappers have protections in rushes where they aren’t responsible for snap rushers. If a rusher takes him on it’s a penalty. The gaps around him are the responsibility of the players next to him.

We have a potent offense that does a good job usually of sustaining drives, eating up clock, and scoring. Our points against look better as we have had some really timely turnovers from teams on the doorstep, I keep wondering how long we can keep that up but we keep getting them. We are 31st in the league against the run and that is just a fact and something that has to get better, along with the missed tackles. I am hopeful that we have the kind of players waiting in the wings that can help our D hit its stride down the home stretch. Imagine this offense getting the ball even more when they are already averaging 30+ points a game. I thought I heard something during the broadcast that sounded like Ray Davis did not have good practices and that is why he is not getting the work. Not sure what happened there as I thought he was having a good camp this year. Maybe I misheard. Coleman is getting better, and Palmer is starting to click with Allen. Kincaid and Allen are on the same page and Hawes is doing great blocking and receiving. We are 4 and 0 and have NE and Atlanta then we go into the bye and we get some much needed reinforcements on D when they come back.

Maybe he is injured and doesn’t have the push 4th and 3 they punted vs bills and he looked shook and injuried/limping then lions beat him up last week so maybe he is just not 100% but he did look like someone who gave up

If I'm GB I'm less worried about Parsons and more worried about the fact that nobody on the field or sidelines could take advantage of all the doubles the guy was drawing all night. Dallas sold out to make sure the guy didn't have himself a day against them on national TV and yet still nobody else in that front7 was more effective than him.

I was driving home from the game and missed the second half of this one. I saw the replay of Lamar's "injury" as well as what happened as he went to the sideline. Did Lamar really quit on his team? From my vantage point, nothing happened to him, the trainers barely talked to him, and he just sat there. That can't be what happened, can it? And didn't he do something like that once a few years ago too?
