This is exactly what I thought after watching it. I hard heard that it was from "the creators of the Office", but once I saw Mike Schur's name wasn't on it, I became less enthusiastic. Greg Daniels is funny and a great creative mind in his own right, but I think a big part of what made The Office what it was is Mike Schur. I don't associate Greg Daniels nearly as much with that brand of comedy. On the flip side, speaking of Greg Daniels... I HAVE been enjoying the King of the Hill reboot. Good stuff.

If he keeps playing like this, he’s going to keep a roster spot. I’m hoping we can make a trade or two before Hairston, Hoecht and Ohinjobi return. Too many players- not enough roster spots. Bass included.

Watching the Jets game again, and also thinking about his performance against the Ravens… Hawes is a baller. The guy LOVES contact. I genuinely think he craves it. He engages the block, drives his defender backward and does not stop until after the whistle. I can’t remember the last time i’ve seen a Bills TE who can block this well. Maybe ever? He may make Knox disposable. Especially with his constant propensity to drop balls.

They might be. Also, after watching the Bills game and checking in on the Dolphins game, I think it might be possible that 3 of the worst 6 teams might be in the AFC East.

I think it's yet to be seen. I thought ST's looked pretty bad Game 1, and yesterday they looked a lot better. Hopefully this guy can at least count how many men are on the field.

It’s not the same thing. Bills need the #1 seed. The path is wide open to get that this year. KC has proven they can do it with or without the top seed.

I will take the blame for this. During his all pro level season, I bought a Milano jersey,(I like to represent Defensive players) and clearly put some kind of bad juju on him. He has not been the same since.

Teams draft guys on "traits" all the time. It's the intangible "feel for the game" and mental side of things that are always the variables. If you get drafted fairly high you produced well in college and you have good measurables. This happens in the NBA all the dam time. The Pistons drafted Stanley Johnson 5 picks ahead of Devin Booker. Johnson was longer, slightly taller, jumped higher, and was faster than Booker. In college Johnson also scored at a higher clip than his teammate Booker (Averaging 3.8 more points and 4.5 more rebounds as well as .5 more assists) and had about the same efficiency. Yet Booker developed into an All-NBA player and Johnson after showing good defensive capabilities his first few years is in the Euro League the last few years. There's an intangible feel for the game and elasticity to drafting. Elam was drafted because he was athletic and put out some good tape in college. He flashed here but never made a consistent impact. Whereas Benford while not nearly as good an athlete and coming from a smaller school just was a better fit for the system and produced on field more.

As the Season progresses, THIS potential Championship Season, it is incumbent on ALL OBD Mgt. to unearth any and every diamond in the rough, to beef up EVERY weak position. The D, especially in the drive for the Lombardi at Season’s End, may and absolutely will not be the same as we see now. Players are coming in and out- as needed. Our FG Kicker- some ancient Mariner, was coaching Pop Warner 13 days ago. Two PED studs are still in the stands with a Hot Dog & Beer- until Game 7. JUST DO IT, BABY… WHATEVER IT TAKES!

Yeah he was miserable in the pre-season. He looked completely lost.

If this had to happen, now is not a terrible time. We should be able to beat the Fins and Saints without him, so that gives him three weeks.
