  1. Past hour
  2. Henry has a very low fumble rate. He's a 10yr vet at RB. He's going to get a brief conversation but no coach is going to worry about changing his running style at this point in his career.
  3. I was watching the game again and noticed something on Henry's fumble. He's been getting so much positive feedback on all those straightarms that he used it when he shouldn't have. Those appear on the highlights all season long, and you can bet he knows that, and gets all kinds of hero worship for them. As he should, really, but sometimes there are consequences. Oliver is headed right towards him in the backfield. Henry puts the ball in his left hand and immediately goes for the straight-arm with his right hand. That was a mistake. Oliver's right arm is free. He's got an OL leaning on his left side, but his right hand, the one closest to Henry's ball hand, it's free. Henry's play there is to wrap his right hand around the ball and cover with two hands. He didn't, and Ed made him pay. He should be coached when NOT to use the straight-arm. That was not the time, it was a time to be careful. They should also coach him that the guys he successfully straight-arms are mostly safeties, CBs and an occasional LB. Guys smaller than Henry himself. Oliver may be small for a DT, but he's bigger and stronger than Henry.
  4. A. Oliver would be a major setback as everyone already mentioned, by far our best defensive player. Without him, we lose the Ravens game B. Not sure how injured anyone is, but almost all of our cornerbacks/DB are on there (not even including Hairston on IR) 1. Benford 2. Codrington 3. Hancock 4. Johnson 5. Tre' C. Also interesting that 8 of the 11 are on defense.
  5. Today
  6. Friday morning thoughts: - for two of the better teams in the NFC that was an ugly game. Some of that may have been the usual TNF roughness but I think the offensive lines on both sides being down to backups in key spot was part of it too. Neither side protected well. - I know the Commanders want to feature McLaurin and Deebo but it was only when they started to get Zach Ertz involved second half that the offense got off the canvas. He remains a critical piece to them. - if Jayden Daniels is gonna avoid a CJ Stroud esque sophomore slump he just needs to focus back in on his fundamentals. I am sure the protection issues play a part but both his footwork and his throwing motion looked a little loose to me in that game. - Green Bay last season were a team that can throw waves of pass rushers and pass catchers at you but didn't have a lead dog in either yard. They unquestionably do now in the pass rushing area with Micah Parsons and they drafted Matthew Golden to be that in the pass catching coprs, but he seems to be being used for gimmick plays and deep shots right now and it might be more of a work in progress for him to emerge as a true #1 receiver. - the stat at the end of that game on Jordan Love tells you how important getting the offensive line healthy is for Green Bay. Through two games he only has four incompletions when not pressured. With time he can be devestating. His decision making under pressure is the thing that is holding him back from really breaking into the upper echelon of NFL passers.
  7. Thats depressing against a team loaded with RB's
  8. You had me until game ball for McDermott. If he would have just kicked the xp's, the Bills would have won the game outright. Down 9, he went for 2 and failed, making it a two-score game. Kick the XP there and get to one score. The Bills won despite McDermott, not because of him.
  9. It'll be T.J. Sanders and Jordan Phillips at 3T if Big Ed misses this week.
  10. Those M&M cookie sandwiches all d*mn day, ya dig?
  11. As you can see Bull was just being a piece of garbage, Hey bull did you get some enjoyment trying to troll the right? Is that what gives you joy in life? Think about that. You had to post stupid ***** to what? Feel good? That’s what brings you joy? Okay guy get your rocks off a man losing his life so you can “troll” the right.
  12. That FOX announcer group is very weak compared to CBS
  13. Living abroad I had never heard of him until last evening (local time). I don't think I agree with him on most (if any) topics. But that does not matter. From what I can tell he stood up for his beliefs and tried to get youth involved in politics by talking to them. That I can always respect. RIP. This act was absolutely horrible and has caused alot of damage. First and foremost to Kirk and his family, near and dear. But also to the US and the western world. It increases the divide which is never a good thing. I hope (I don't pray since I'm not religious) they catch the assassin as soon as possible.
  14. Yeah, I think this GB team could almost match Philly. Should be interesting....
  15. Thread already started
  16. I’ve seen this! Too bad it’s missing the actual quote. Hey bull could you explain Kirk said about sympathy in this same conversation or did you just lift this off a Facebook?
  17. I won't remember him at all, just as he wished.
  18. "with respect and kindness" give me a break....🙄
  19. Georgiev, 29, split last season between the Colorado Avalanche and San Jose Sharks. He totaled 49 games with the two clubs, posting an .875 save percentage. He should fit right in with the goalie group
  20. It's amazing how soft the "fReE sPeEcH" and the "cOmEdY iS lEgAl aGaIn" crowd get when their feeling get hurt. **** your feelings.
  21. When they blitzed Daniels tonight he immediately turned into a one-read-and-run QB.
  22. Sounds like projection of this whole goddamn thread. 😂 And "beliefs that were mainstream" in 1848 looked a hell of a lot different than in 1861. You guys FAFO'd then and you're FAFO'ing now. I guess We shouldn't expect any better when you openly admit to believing in a regressive ideology. Adapt or 💀
  23. It's 911.3 miles between Lambeau Field and Commanders stadium. True.
  24. The shooter is injured. He has a limp. I hope he tore that knee ligament. He is not going to be able to move very well and now will be noticeable. I would expect that limp to get worse each day without care. We don’t use staffing firms for unskilled jobs. I don’t have any information on them.
