I say yes and by a mile. My gf has a double masters in nursing from New York and California (and Ontario). She single handedly kept me motivated last year during the KC stretch. She loves Dion and for good reason, class act and amazing player. Not sure how many fans here like hockey but itβs the same thing. Toronto = Buffalo

Malaki Starks wants to pick off Josh Allen most

Exactly. Josh just loves to play and win. Like all the greats, he's fiercely competitive regardless of the sport or game, and this has been well documented going back to his high school and college years. -
Thought Exercise: Best Bills QB (99-2017) who'd be JA17 backup

While that's mostly true, that still was his mindset and personality, and the Bills in '25 (as per the OP question) would never have someone like him in that room. -

If we are talking on the field play only - I'd feel very comfortable with Flutie, slightly less so with Fitz and Orton, and generally okay with Tyrod or Holcomb as caretaker types. And I'd obviously take the version of Bledsoe we saw during the first 8 games of 2002, but nothing thereafter. Some decent backup options when we look at our former QBs through that lens. If we are considering attitude, leadership and likelihood of being a helpful backup, I'd probably focus in on Fitz and Tyrod. -
I really hope she does find out. Too many times this happens and then they get away with nothing but a fine or a warning. If they want to stop these nut jobs then prosecute to the fullest extent and make an example out of her.

I've seen Starks interviewed many times here in the ATL and he is one of those I want to be the best and to be the best I have to play the best kind of guys. I wanted him for the Bills. Love the Hairston choice. Both Hairston and Starks will be difference makers in the NFL. -

Not following. They had eunuchs back then. I don't believe they're mentioned in the bible. I think he'd be against both. But I'm confident he wouldn't tell the Romans how to write their laws.

I don't even get a sniff of Ramsey in this interview. He sounds pretty playful and smart. I thought Starks came across really well. Good kid. He said he wants to pick off Allen because he has a bunch of friends on the Bills. Malaki basically said "it would be fun to beat my friends on the Bills" Ramsey said Allen was trash. IMO this is a total non-story. Timestamp is around 5:10 https://youtu.be/IueRXT77hfU?si=PO7VRTE5303nus5D I highly doubt that anybody who actually watched the interview thought the kid was coming at Allen with anything but respect. What a BS headline. He was super friendly. -

If he picks off Josh Allen he will act like he's some masterful player. If he does not pick off Allen, there are no stories written and there is no accountability. Seems like a win-win to say it. -

Except the placebo effect is real. On paper it shouldn't be (your perception), but its reality is measurable and quantifiable. The opposite analogy for the point you're trying to make. Maybe as an athlete you ignored your emotional state, I did and regret it, because my best performances were when the stakes were the highest and I was totally and desperately invested in winning. It gave me massive focus and fear of mistakes or failing vanished. That's just me and everyone's different so I get what you're trying to say, I would simply conclude that perhaps you should open your mind more and that for some, influencing their mental state increases their performance. -

Well, if I were a Calvinist/Reformed Protestant, the answer to that question is an unequivocal yes. As God decreed all things in eternity past, according to the good pleasure of his will and for his glory as stated in the Westminster Confession of Faith. Jesus is the Triune God, unless you're some kind of Partialist/Modalist/Arian heretic. If you don't like that, then I'd point you to Romans 9:20-21, Isaiah 45: 9-12, and Jeremiah 18: 1-6.

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
SoTier replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
This thread is supposed to be about how bad the Bills WRs are as a group. The last time I looked, Bowers isn't a WR, so he doesn't count. I want to see Mahomes/Lamar/Burrow and any other QB the Bills play on their way to a Lombardi sacked, hurried, and running for his life because his receivers struggle to beat our secondary, enabling our pass rushers to get home. If the Bills defense had held the Chiefs to their average points per game in the 2024 AFCCG (22.6), there would have been no need for any final drive heroics by the Bills offense. The pass rushers couldn't get to Mahomes because his receivers were beating our DBs almost from the get-go.
