When your default setting is hostility to religion, you’re not using a phrase like “high priest” out of reverence, but out of snark. The Democrats are furious. Short version: he spent a lot of time in the Toronto area growing up, has tons of family there, and is really psyched to play for the Bills.

Skinner has played a grand total of 11 minutes during Edmonton’s entire playoff run. (he’s been scratched all but 1 game in the first round) Edmonton all the way! I’d love to see them win a cup. Not all that long ago they were the perennial joke of the NHL, and their owner was thought of as being the worst. It’s been cool to see them finally turn it around and have sustained success. It obviously helped that they drafted + retained 2 of the best players on the planet. lol It would also be cool to see a Canadian team get a Stanley cup win.

I thought that clip was a setup where the guys were primed beforehand with the answer to prank Diggs. But it had an edge underneath it. Back in (I think) 2017 when it was filmed, Diggs had just had a daughter with one woman. But another woman went public that she was also pregnant and Diggs forced her to have an abortion. I can still picture EJ Manuel having to set his feet like 5 times just to throw a 5 yard pass. 🤢🤮😂 I remember a press conference after a particularly bad game by EJ, some reporter asked him about how poorly he played and he answered “well the coach said I played well” or something along those lines. Tuel actually played a pretty good game until that pick. That interception was dumb luck by the chiefs. I can’t recall now, but I think someone fell down or the defender screwed up and was basically out of position, and sort of lucked into it.

I think a cheap shot implies some level of intent to injure or aiming for someone's head. He wasn't head hunting, he was actually playing the ball which is far from "cheap". Was he late? Yes, because his recovery speed is gone. Was it reckless? Yes, you shouldn't be diving like a missile at a receiver trying to make a catch. There will be big hits and violent collisions, it is football. But cheap stuff to me is usually head hunting, or late hits.

To be fair to Pats fans, while I agree with almost everything you say here: during the championship years, the Pats did have a pattern of "washed" players coming to NE and finding a "second wind". No doubt due to clean living, avocado ice cream. and whatever Alex Guerrero told them to do.
