That discord is the poster child of overmoderation. I get it - they attract a certain type of poster that gets annoying to tolerate, but that Moo guy is obnoxious, self unaware, and frankly more annoying than the participants he shuts down. It reminds me of early days on the internet when moderators thought that the word of God came from their lips. I wouldn't pay 5 cents much less 5 dollars for access to that discord. I appreciate the work JP puts in for the maps but it's something the NFL and FOX/CBS should be putting out themselves. They have all the data.

So did the Bucs with Gruden.

Anyone reconsidering their TBD pick ‘em choices?

Um based on WHAT? The pre-New Deal era in the U.S. was know for some pretty depraved corporate behavior. The East India Company of Britain subjugated entire populations. Ever hear about the Banana Massacre? Chiquita is still selling its wares today! -
That's what she said

2 laughs: it took a "yearlong investigation" to prove these guys were streaming illegally, using fake domains? "Egyptian Law Enforcement"?? lol has anyone else been to Cairo? Steameasy must have stopped paying Egyptian cops to not enter their hacker grottos.

Seems like possible Coleman injury swinging the line in favor of the Ravens? -
That makes sense. I’ll buy it. Thanks for slaying that dragon.

Were they worried when we faced them in the playoffs?

And I can tell you with certainty I have no idea what that has to do with what you quoted me on. 🤣

Good analogy

One gets shut down another one comes through the cracks. As long as there's internet they'll be piracy of some form. Especially when it comes to streaming sports. As much as that makes some unhappy, Through The Eyes of the piracies, where there's a will there's a way... On to the 2025 NFL season!! -

It's almost 50/50 now and has been getting closer in the last 6 seasons. How often does the home team win in the NFL? On average, NFL home teams win just over half their games, but the advantage isn’t as strong as it used to be. Historically, from the 1970s through the early 2010s, home teams won close to 57–60% of the time. Over the past few seasons, however, that edge has diminished, and since 2019 the win rate for home teams has hovered around 52–53%. That’s only a slight edge above random chance, meaning that while playing at home still provides some benefit, it’s no longer the near-automatic bump that bettors could count on in past decades. For handicapping, this decline matters. Oddsmakers once routinely gave home teams a standard three-point edge in the spread, but in today’s market that figure has been cut in half, closer to 1.5 points. Across the league the numbers show that betting purely on the home team is no longer profitable. Successful bettors now weigh matchup-specific factors like travel distance, rest days, injuries, and team quality far more heavily than the simple fact of where the game is played. https://www.covers.com/nfl/home-field-advantage#:~:text=On average%2C NFL home teams, where the game is played.

The bills do everything for a reason. I’m thinking it might be easier to see all blue at night vs the ravens all whites. You don’t want white pants mixed in

I can tell you with certainty that IP companies spend tens of millions of dollars on digital encryption and security, plus tens of millions more on updating their content more frequently because of theft. These costs get passed on. Just because they don’t immediately (or ever) lower their prices in response to enforcement steps doesn’t mean there are no real financial costs associated with free unlimited distribution of copyrighted IP. -

As a Netflix subscriber from 2008 to the 3rd rate increase of the pandemic, I believe in voting with your wallet and conscience. The painful truth is if there was a cheap and easy option to enjoy the NFL legally, no one would bother expending any effort otherwise. -
We got Josh Allen - our super hero. Go Bills !!!

Let me get this straight - the NFL and sports media companies are INHERENTLY EVIL and anyone who doesn’t agree with that obvious point are dense trolls? INHERENTLY EVIL?? Again we are talking about ENTERTAINMENT companies. They aren’t even purporting to sell basic needs. They are a universe removed from, say, an HMO. They are evil for selling a luxury product for more money than you think it's worth? Evil??? INHERENTLY EVIL! And btw how much money do you personally spend to help prop up these INHERENTLY EVIL entities? Aren’t you complicit in the evil if you know what you’re supporting?
