  1. Past hour
  2. It was a transcendent moment for him when he started clapping and the entire locker room started clapping along in rhythm with him. After all these years as coach, he's finally coached up all the Assistant Coaches and the front office staff to clap along with him. One of the truly great moments of his career. And it took a win against the New Orleans Saints to do it.
  3. it hasn't been really discussed much. I imagine it will be tomorrow. McDermott benched him hmmmmm
  4. Thats how 2-4 losses become 5-7 losses.
  5. Standing on the water, casting your bread While the eyes of the idol with the iron head are glowing Distant ships sailing into the mist You were born with a snake in both of your fists while a hurricane was blowing Freedom just around the corner for you But with truth so far off, what good will it do?
  6. Interesting. Thanks for the link!
  7. I have heard the name but his music not in my own wheelhouse to say the least
  8. yet another guy who got a new contract and not living up to it.
  9. how much did we all worry when we saw Benford go down in the 4th quarter. and right back in. Hallelujah! and the Punter being wrecked oh my goodness. and comes back into the game to hold. Unbelievable. Real men play NFL football . I have huge respect for the amount of abuse their bodies take. Codrington was a healthy scratch. I found an article relating toi the decision https://heavy.com/sports/nfl/buffalo-bills/bills-brandon-codrington-benched-uncertain-future/
  10. Pats have speed and it looks like they were doing a good job of spreading the field and opening things up plus there was always a good dump off player waiting for maye to take advantage of. I thought there offense looked pretty clean and in sync.
  11. Keeping the score to under 20 points is always good enough for a Josh Allen led offense. The issue that continues to plague this team is its ability to stop the run and get off the field on 3rd and longs.
  12. Yet another member of the “Beane's Bust Bus”.
  13. I missed the first half of the game. Can someone tell me who was scratched in place of Samuel and was it a healthy scratch or were they injured?
  14. Funny to think MLB has been taken steps to speed up games & limit the amount of time spent dragging on, but now we're here wanting the NFL to go the opposite direction & add more time to things. They already had a way to limit ties for many years, and it was sudden death OT. First score wins, that's it. But then many great games came to an abrupt end & people felt cheated that way, so they finally changed it in 2010 (for the playoffs) & the sudden death only applied if the starting offense scored a TD on their opening drive. That was expanded to the regular season a couple years later, followed by shortening OT from 15 mins to 10 mins, and it remained that way until.... you guessed it, the Bills vs Chiefs playoff game where Allen sat on the bench the whole time. Guess it just depends on what you prioritize. If you want fairness, you probably prefer what we have now. If you prefer having a winner no matter what, sudden death (most often decided by a coin toss) gets you that result more consistently. Shortened quarters also help with player safety, but also open up the chance for a tie. I like it how it is now, but I can understand why others wouldn't. What I really DON'T like is the suggestion we go to college OT rules. I hate how that can inflate stats way too much. You can have players put up more TD passes in OT than they did the entirety of regulation. It would warp records way too much.
  15. We saw him at Bar Bill with his family on Saturday. I hope that helps you find him 😋 We also saw Poyer next door getting carry out.
  16. Lamar is now 3-10 against Josh and Mahomes. He's laid more eggs in the playoffs than had good games, and pretty much quit on his team today. He's very talented, but when he has go one dimensional against a light box, he's not the same QB.
  17. I think Cook may suffer how Lamar does with MVP. With Cook, Josh will get a lot of credit for the boxes he sees. Puka and JT are playing out of their minds with less support.
  18. F those players😅😅
  19. I know that actually felt weird to type first time I ever did lol But the players call him that and he's eating so I'll give it to him I agree tho
  20. I don't doubt that he isn't a little beat up. Oliver knocked the crap out of him. The Lions smacked him around. And the Chiefs were doing the same. However, if you can stand and throw, you stay in the game. To me, and I could be wrong, I think he got frustrated and succumbed to an injury that most would play through. I'm very curious to see how this plays out with his teammates.
  21. I see nothing but personnel problems. Slow. No CB2. Taron has lost a step. We stink against the run. Our safeties feature a solid 22 year old athlete still learning, and an average slow vet who at least knows what he’s doing he’s just slow. The D line is a case of quantity is not better then quality. And it’s unfair to ask 2 rookies to make a significant impact at least now. Daquan is not as good. And AJ is just Chris Kelsey. Bosa is still awesome. Rousseau is solid. Ed is important. And that’s that. Against good olines and QBs we look below average to bad. Good enough to win 11-13 regular season games means nothing to me when we go into the playoffs and all I’ll be thinking is Josh needs to be Superman or team that has the ball last wins. Currently this unit isn’t close to the 2019-2023 defenses McD had. Not fast. Not physical. And we’ve poured a lot of draft capital into it since 2022. What it does have is a good collective IQ - TB, CB, Tre, Rousseau, Rapp, Bishop, and Milano - all high football IQ guys.
  22. Just got home from the game, where I was smart enough to put sunscreen every where but my face. Replays at the game were not great and I haven't had a chance to watch the game highlights . So, if there's anything in here that was obvious on TV, please let me know. And again, please share you random thought as well. 1 - Defensive Line rotation - With the money we spent in FA, the draft picks we used in April, and the overall defensive focus discussed all season...how in the absolute ***** did we have Phillips, AJ, and Solomon out there together for the majority of the snaps on the game's opening drive?! I know there's a process and rotation, but anything that results in those players out there together is an absolute failure. I was losing my mind in the stands watching them get ran all over and getting zero pressure. 2 - Bosa - Was he ever asked to play contain on the outside in San Diego? I'm not questioning his skill as a pass rusher by any means, as he was one of the few guys to get into the backfield, but he could not set the edge to save his life today. It was comically bad. 3 - Walker - If there's one positive from this recent draft, and I know it's only game 4, it's how well Walker has looked. Not only has he been solid against the run, but he was a disrupter at times in the pass. With Jones getting up there in age, who also looked good today, I'm really excited for what Walker brings to this team. 4 - Kincaid - While that touchdown pass was a thing of beauty, both in route and Josh throwing Kincaid open, I really want to talk about the Shakir touchdown. Yes, Shakir deserves a ton of credit for keeping his balance and taking it to the house. But Kincaid made THREE huge blocks on that play that made it all possible. Kincaid was solid in protection all game, but still ready to contribute to seal the game. 5 - Bishop - Again, only four games in, but it does seem to look like the lights are starting to turn on for him. Watching his interception from the stands was a thing of beauty. I don't know why I watched him on that play, but you could see him read the Saints from the snap. He was all over that play. He was solid over the top and made some nice plays in the box. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. 6 - Dorian Williams - I would not want to be him come tape watching time. He was out of position on quite a few plays and got juked out of his shorts by Rattler as a spy. 7 - Cook - I don't know if I have formally apologized for thinking the Bills should have traded him in the off-season and just drafted an easy replacement in the draft. I don't know why I thought that he as 1A to Davis, Johnson, and Gore as 1B. Jimbo has earned every penny of his new contract and is night and day the best back on the field, if not a top 5 back in the league right now. His cuts, speed, hands, and vision have been amazing. So why did he not get the ball once on when we only needed two yards on a potentially game sealing drive. Also, after he got the 8 yards on first down! 8 - 4th and short to Shakir - I know some people questioned this call on the post-game show, but from my vantage point, Van Demark clearly missed a block on that play which would have sprung him. Again, if I missed something live, please tell me, but Van Demark did not have a great game and that was the exclamation mark to me (no pun intended). 9 - Josh 2nd quarter - Am I crazy or did Josh not complete a pass in the 2nd quarter? I remember looking at the scoreboard and seeing that he threw for either 113 or 115 in the first quarter, and ended the half with 115. Regardless, 2 yards in the 2nd quarter...how is that even possible? This offense either makes a 80 yard drive seem like a walk in the park, or they forget what a football looks like. It's head scratching sometimes. Even more so, that we still are averging more than 30 points a game. 10 - Coaching - I'm happy I got to see this game live, so I could see the entire field. I'm quick to come down on the coaches, but I can't do that this game. The play calls were correct, the players just didn't execute. Poor tackling, out of position, not getting on and off the field fast enough. I don't know that we played down to the Saints, as they are statistically not the terrible team their record indicates, but something was off about today. I do wonder if Oliver, Milano, or Brown would have dressed if this were the Chiefs game. One more thing. I'm pretty sure Josh Allen slept with the Umpire's wife. This guy hated us. Almost every head scratching flag was thrown by him. There was one flag that he threw from 30 yards down field, with three other officials closer to the play. You could even see the white hat looking confused when they huddled. Maybe you all saw something I didn't, but there were multiple calls that the fans had zero idea what was going on. Lastly, while we keep getting these ridiculous spreads to cover, the Bills are still winning these games by two scores and are most likely getting the best shot from their opponents. The Bills are the Super Bowl for some of these teams and some are getting more desperate in their seasons. I don't think that's something to take lightly. Go Bills!

  23. Was hoping he would get in today considering the opponent. Once Hoecht comes back he likely wont get on the field.
  24. You're right, and they have come in pairs before. There's been a few years where we had 2 ties in the same season. Just checked, and from 1990 to 2011 we only had 4 ties (with 2 in the 1997 season). Then from 2012 to 2025, we've had 13. So you're spot on in that we average 1 per year now. The only years in that stretch that there wasn't at least 1 tie were 2015, 2017, 2023 & 2024. So this is our first one in 3 years 🙂
  25. so far he is ( i cant call him Jimbo, because there's only one and that's Jim Kelly.
