To me the part that is most concerning is previous years we'd get gashed by certain teams while in nickel, and it was always frustrating because McD/Frazier wouldn't make any adjustments until at least halftime. This year we're coming out in base defense sometimes with 7-8 guys in the box and we're getting gashed by everyone. This is a new problem even though it feels like an old one, and it's bad.

Cosell mentioned that WR who cant separate dont do well in man, but all should be able to beat a zone by scheme. You attack zones vertically and horizontally. You find vulnerabilities in zone and attack. Thats football 101. Bills dont do that. Bills have not done a deep dig in years. Lions do every game. Scheme should beat zones
