  2. Making China pay was always a ruse.
  3. and don't forget Belichek's defense that stopped the Bills Juggernaut
  4. Moving on from him before June 1st saves us around 10m on the Cap. Post June 1st, it saves 12m. If he stays healthy, produces at a rate better than the last 2 seasons, doesn't show decline, and there's a way to keep him while also saving around that same number on the Cap - that's fine. But as I said, this feels almost a direct repeat of the Tre situation last season, down to the money we'd save. Knox costs a whopping 17.1m on the Cap. We just can't have anything *close* to that. Especially with him turning 30 and averaging only 250 yards and 1.5 TD's over the past two seasons. There's obviously love for Knox in the building. But like Tre, that only goes so far when it comes to business. And getting out from that number is a no brainer business decision. I don't know if there's a feasible way to get him that low and keep him. But that's the only way it makes any sense to me.
  5. Stop with your cherry picking. Maybe you should go and watch the replay of the 13 second game. That should tell you all you need to know about Josh Allen. They guy is special.
  6. I'm baffled by all this Ravens revenge narrative going on. We were the ones that got revenge on them after being blown out in Baltimore.
  7. Poyer doesn't come in unless Rapp or Bishop are injured. You have to let Bishop play and take his lumps. We need to look at the big picture of winning the SB. Anyways, the cornerback position is a lot more tenuous and with heavy question marks including Benford who appears to have something (bad) going for him
  8. Ditto x 5 I'm so glad that I can contribute!
  9. This is only a half truth and pretty disingenuous. You can't just dismiss the turnovers or say what ifs. They happened and the Bills capitalized on them. Fact is they didn't play a clean game. This game was nothing like the first meeting where Baltimore blew out the Bills. Stop with your nonsense. Yes, the Ravens offense and Lamar were handling the Bills defense. However, that doesn't equate to the same outcome this year. Let's see how things play out. Personally, I think the Ravens have the best roster in the league. In the playoffs, the Ravens lost a home game to KC and last year's loss to Buffalo. I'd argue with confidence the Ravens were the better team in both of those playoff losses. What's fairly accurate is neither team has gotten it done come playoff time. Arguably both teams had rosters capable of making it to the Super Bowl. Allen has been nothing short of spectacular in his playoff appearances. Lamar has not! I hope both QBs have rings when their careers expire.
  10. I changed careers at the age of 35. Worked telecom out of my first stint in college. Pulling telephone and computer cabling, fiber optics, installing phone systems. After 6 months, went to a start up for a few years doing the same thing. Moved up the ladder to an office position designing systems. Moved around a few more companies until I landed at local computer company opening their cabling division. Worked there until my pension was about to be vested and was laid off. A bit of a kick in the gut because the local office president told me no matter what happens, I’d have a job with them…. Guess not. Always thought I hated having a boss, so started a business and was back at that office in two days and became their subcontractor. Owned my business and did pretty well for the following two years before I realized I hated telecom. Got drunk with my wife camping when we discussed my changing careers. Landed on nursing as it was something I thought of out of high school…but male nurses back then were not as accepted as they were when I changed careers. Got my pre-reqs done for nursing school and the rest is history. Most fulfilling work I’ve ever done. Make good money and landed a decent pension where I work. Best decision I ever made. Was difficult because we had just moved into a new (old) house 6 months before being laid off. 2 kids aged 6 and 7. Incurred a bit of credit card debt, but totally worth it. Best part of nursing is the career paths once you get your RN. You can work specialties such as ortho, cardiac, cancer care. You can work surgery and get your RNFA (RN First Assist) where you scrub in and help the MD. You can get your Nurse Practitioner. You can even become a Nurse Anesthetist. Great career.
  11. Charlie Brown kicking a football with Lucy holding.
  12. Today
  13. Knox also is 2nd on the all-time Bills list for receiving TDs in the playoffs. He has 6 and is behind only to the 9 by Andre Reed. Knox has been very valuable contributor in the playoffs.
  14. I feel he will re-negotiate his contract and take a massive pay cut to stay back in Buffalo (more like a $5M per year deal) thank you for sharing this easier to read. I will copy it back to the original post
  15. Either go right a couple times, or run a fake and toss it to Knox, or a bootleg… Whatever it is, put something else on tape from tush-push formation!
  16. Ditto ditto ditto ditto
  17. Legal guns in Sweden are almost just hunting rifles (and a few pistols etc. for target sports). The laws on who can have them and where to keep them are very strict. It does not campare at all to the US. It is not legal to carry a gun anywhere unless you are actually hunting (or on your way directly to/from hunting or shooting practice). Gun homicides in Sweden are rarely commited with legal weapons. The criminal gangs have a lot of illegal weapons (from ex Jugoslavia etc.) that are used for gang related shootings. We did (half) recently have a school shooting with legal weapons however. So those kind of crimes do also exist but they are very rare.
  18. If the points TCU scored were years, they wouldn’t have covered the age gap between Bill and his girlfriend.
  19. A "slight" paycut isn't remotely enough. Coming off the last two years, he'd have to have a MONSTER season to warrant even close to half. On his current trajectory of what he's done the past two seasons, entering Year 8 next season, and turning 30 - he'd be really lucky to get even a third of what he's scheduled to make on the open market. It's essentially Tre White from last year territory. The guy is loved. But the business side of things just makes his current contract basically impossible not to move on from. Especially in the Cap situation we're in with the amount of guys that will need to be replaced. Only 8.3m under with 18 of our 53 man Roster being Free Agents - including multiple starters.
  20. I've found it interesting how well Knox, and Kincaid compliment each other. Knox came into the league as primarily a blocking TE-- he hadn't made a single TD in his entire college career. Kincaid, just the opposite, billed as a receiving TE, with remarkable hands, and a skilled route runner with a natural ability to get open-- but a lousy blocker. Upon arriving in Buffalo, they each set to work improving the opposite side of their game. Knox, especially, worked tirelessly in each offseason improving his receiving skills, including hiring an eye-hand coordination, and vision specialist. His work has clearly paid dividends. While Kincaid is the better, all-around receiver, Knox has made some incredible, clutch receptions. They're a helluva one-two punch at tight end.
  21. Unless he takes a pretty substantial paycut, he won't be a Bill next year - let alone a Bill for life. In no scenario can Dawson Knox who will turn 30 next season, count for 17+m on the Cap. He shouldn't count for 14.5 this season. But it's pretty much fully guaranteed this season (a cut would generate 13.8+m in Dead Cap), which is why he's still here. That won't be a thing next year though. We finally have an out on that insanely overpriced contract we signed him to. I like Dawson as a person and a teammate. But his 2021 and 2022 campaigns that precipitated the massive contract feel like blips on the radar. In the 2 years before that and the 2 years after - which make up 2/3 of his career, he averages 293 yards and 2 TD's a year. That is simply not enough production to warrant so much as a third of money he's under next season, when we can get out from under it.
  22. Take your TDS and stuff it where the sun don't shine. Key word HAD as in the past. We absolutely should move on. Even if the press and Biden's staff etc didn't see it or tried to hide it, the American people did and kicked him to the curb (via polling) along with his VP. Trump's the man with the big dick now. Own it and all that comes along with it. What exactly does not moving on from it look like and what's the benefit beyond yeah well Biden? You won. Move on and get us more winning. Biden is yesterday's news thank goodness.
  23. The biggest difference in these stats? One of them got to play the Bills defense with overall more talented weapons and the other one had to play the Ravens defense carrying his squad on his back.
  24. Second favorite player on the team! Hope cool heads prevail and he takes a slight pay cut with 100% guaranteed money so he can stay on the team the next few years.
