  2. agree 100%. I am super glad he's back and you can see the comfort level between him and Allen immediately. I'll take the occasional dumb mistakes or misrun routes
  3. It's a number of issues at every level of the defense - The edge isn't set by the end properly, or they take the bait and end up too far upfield while also enabling linemen to advance to the 2nd level Linebackers struggle to shed, or shoot the wrong gap and take themselves out of the play Secondary angles have been poor, and the tackling among this group is probably the worst of each unit
  4. Yep. Additional by subtraction. The passing game looked like a different animal yesterday. IDC about Tampa’s bad pass defense. The Fins & Falcons both stifled Allen and they aren’t exactly world beaters.
  5. Mahomes hasn't been very good in recent weeks. He threw this awful INT in FG range in a game decided by 3 points: Also threw this terrible pick six that was overturned by a questionable illegal contact penalty: I thought he would get back to his high standard of play this year after a couple middling seasons but it hasn't happened.
  6. It's the Texans. Go in there and smash them!
  7. I said before the game to put Gabe / Shavers opposite Palmer and it should stay that way. However, i do think Keon as a redzone guy could pay big. Just a matter of who and how many do you suit up on gameday.
  8. I think he could become one of the best ever. I will go with HOF
  9. agreed. I know what play you are talking about too. I think it was the long tucker TD catch (not to be confused with the long Tucker TD run!). Bernard strikes me as very slow from a reaction point. Milano strikes me knowing where to go, but not being able to physically get there. taron seems to just be out of sorts— maybe playing too undisciplined to make up for physical shortcomings?
  10. My girl likes the D
  11. I predicted Bishop to be the best player out of that Bills draft class. He’s one of those complete Safety’s like Polamalu that is both a ball hawk and savage hitter. I think he has potential to be a top 5 player at his position.
  12. lol, had me googling "when did fantasy football start?"
  13. There is about a handful of people that are going to get the “Earnie” reference.
  14. I'm with you. However, the Bills don't seem to want to hire these guys to the staff. If they want to be on the practice squad and a break in case of emergency situation, I'm okay with it. It's overall worked out for us so far.
  15. I think that the most fun one to follow will be rushing TDs. He has 75 right now. If he adds another 90 (doable) he has the most rushing TDS all-time!! He will need 46 more (he’s a lock to do that) to break into the top 5. 🤣🤣 It’s going to be wild when he starts passing names like Jim Brown, Walter Payton and Barry Sanders.
  16. His floor is HoF?
  17. Hahahaha, you're so right! I was thinking Donte Stallworth. Leave me alone, I'm still hungover from not sleeping!
  18. My head tells me we probably are knocked out in the divisional round, but my heart tells me we could make it to the AFCCG. I think later in the season/playoffs we'll see more designed QB runs, and Allen will be less hesitant to take off and pick up first downs with his legs (it almost feels like he's instructed not to right now).
  19. I wanted to revisit this topic after Gabe’s first game back. 3 receptions for 40 yards including an insanely difficult 3rd down snag that I don’t think any WR we have gets other than Shakir. While not putting up an insane stat line, you can see the positive effect he’s having on the offense including blocking. Hardman looked terrible in his Bills debut.
  20. Is Troy polamalu not in the hof?
  21. Honestly, I dislike the idea. As we see this year, if any of these guys are on the roster, they are one play away from seeing significant snaps. I'd even throw Jordan Phillips on the list. I think having a guy or two like that could be a benefit, but if you're filling the bench with guys that have no business on the field anymore and injury bug hits .. you're in deep trouble.
  22. This is a joke, right? John Stallworth played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 70s.
  23. I don’t really care about yards…how about total TDs? Brady leads all time with 677 (649/28) so Josh isn’t even halfway there yet (290)…although Brady did play for 23 years and Josh is only in his 8th season.
  24. Stallsworth was an absolute burner deep threat. I remember having him on my fantasy team year after year. While I would love your comparison to be true, I just don't see it.
