I think one big factor is Buffalo's weather reputation. You can put a dome in, but who wants to schedule a winter event when there's a real risk of no one being able to get there or get out through feet of snow? Syracuse gets more snow but Buffalo and snow are more ingrained in the national psyche. I do think if they had built downtown or closer to the Falls it would have been a dome, optimally by the Falls. A lot easier to sell an event there, especially with Toronto closer.

It’s hard to get a read on these things outside of the building. It’s possible Moore could be cut but here’s a quote from Joe Buscaglia’s Atlantic article about the joint practice on Friday. I’m not sure how much Moore’s performance in pre-season game 2 without Allen will impact things. I do think that McD is getting frustrated with Samuel’s continued absence though.

Good advice! I highly recommend salsa for beginning dancers. It’s a solid workout for sure, with a pretty gentle learning curve (relative to ballet and many forms of modern dance, at least). The squabbles here align more with populist versus establishment political divisions. And just to be clear: the topic is housing costs, the broader problem of high costs of living, and the related problem of declining marriage rates. Those who identify more with centrist Democrats or non-MAGA Republicans will tend to reject victim-oppressor dynamics in favor of the classical “pick-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps” mantra. Progressive populists will CORRECTLY attribute the aforementioned problems to five decades of neoliberalism, which happen to disproportionately affect working-class men (see: all my posts in the Zohran Mamdani thread). MAGA populists have apparently articulated their own list of causes (Democratic Party, COVID policies, illegal immigrants, slutty yuppy women, discrimination against white males, LGBT rights, etc.) with simple solutions (support Trump, embrace Christian nationalism, blah blah blah). Curiously enough, MAGA populists can cede some of the debate to the bootstrap lifters but still won’t embrace personal responsibility when it comes to males performing terribly in academic settings…or to all the f*ck boys and incels failing at relationships, for that matter… In the spirit of this apparent Wolfgang troll, here’s a YouTube link:

I appreciate what he went through and his story, but he sucks on the field, and truthfully he want that good before that night in Cincinnati. Buffalo has to stop with the feel good stories, and put the best guys on the field amd he isnt one of them Safety and WR. Samuel and Moore need to go

I agree Moore hasn't shown enough to warrant a roster spot, maybe we release him and readd him to the PS as an emergency call up. As Shavers has earned a spot for sure and might argue so has Shenault too.

My only thing about the Shenault/Codrington thought is not the WR/DB debate and who can play more/better at their respective position but whether Shenault can play the other two STs at a high level even Codrington can’t. To me that might be the difference. I find the fact that Codrington started even over guys like Hardy, Couch etc was interesting. Like they wanted to see if he could provide anything other than return ability. I also find it interesting how buried Hardy has become since last year and has had zero returns

The season starts in 3 weeks. Neither Palmer or Moore have played a down of football yet with the bills.

This is why I suggested getting more guys this offseason that could play press/ man and make a change on the DL. Philly showed the way.

Samuel, Moore and Palmer were all meh pickups when we signed them and nothing has changed that. I'd rather have Amari Cooper, he didn't do much at all but he at least had hands and would make at least 1 phenomonal catch every other game, those 3 do absolutely nothing for me.

Everybody knows that but were the Bills defenders actually told to drop back ten yards and just stand there? Is that really what the coaches said to them? You have to admit that it looked very odd.

Our DL never had a chance because opposing QBs get the ball out very quickly, usually to a receiver without a defender within 5 yards of him.

I remember vividly last year the bills with and without their starters could not run the ball on the bears and the usual suspects were freaking out the next day. there was a lot of the bills can’t run the ball and they shouldn’t be running it because it doesn’t lead to scoring and ultimately winning. As the man said it’s Deja vu all over again.
