  1. Past hour
  2. Milano is playing a lot better too very recently and Shaq Thompson is available now. It’s tangentially related to Bernard being out but I don’t think it’s all an ‘addition by subtraction’ type thing with him Milano always seems straight up awful after coming back from injury then he goes on an absolute tear months later haha
  3. I'm not sold on Vrabel at all - he had two good years with the Titans in an ass division and then fell apart to being fired. He is rolling with a hot team on a weak schedule Payton is on his third year with Denver, doesnt have a playoff victory. Is that BETTER than Sean? I'm not convinced. Harbaugh has been OK with an LA team that a lot of people were high on last year. 11-6 last year and whooped by the Texans in the wild card round. And all of that said, those guys need to want to come here too. Does Vrabel want to come to Buffalo? I wouldn't be convinced. Johnson has been the only young talented coordinator that I'd have considered letting Sean go for. He has created an offensive structure with his run game that is effective, and could potentially ease Allen's workload as the leader of the offense. With that said - Brady is quite capable, and with equal offensive talent to what detroit had last year, probably would have been the same hot candidate for teams to hire.
  4. Yes, you use the “half-joking defense” a lot when you go down this path. I’m not offended, just making a simple observation about behavior.
  5. The last QB as impactful as Allen to not win a Super Bowl was Dan Marino. Its a pretty rare situation. Given his past history the Dolphins were never going to fire Don Shula. Sean McDermott has not earned the forebearance that Don Shula earned. In reality this is a unique situation in the history of the NFL.
  6. I saw the hold on Bosa during the game. You are absolutely right, O lineman let Bosa go.
  7. LOL, best post of the thread. It says it all and cannot be disputed! We're on to OP to play Cincinnati.
  8. Hendrickson is another big one given the injuries on our o line. Not sure if he is close to coming back.
  9. I agree. They are not combatants in the usual sense. If there is no real “war” on narcoterrorists, then DOD is illegally killing foreign nationals in international waters. DOD has shown no evidence any of these boats were even headed to the US. in fact at least one was clearly headed to Trinidad. US has no standing or authority for these extrajudicial killings in international waters. US is not, and should not be, the world’s policeman. Read the above links. Trump admin has been caught in their convoluted web of lies and half truths.
  10. Yes this is my concern as well. We have shown in the past, we have had no answers for the Bengals especially their offense. We just haven’t slow them down a bit. The strategy will probably be ball control to keep the ball out of their hands
  11. Dont take it so seriously or personal. Like I've already said, it's a half-joking response to the other thread. Mostly because it's funny when we have multiple variations of the same thread on the front page. This isnt serious business. I was able to reply in the other thread without being so offended. Just have fun.
  12. I am generally a fan of continuity when a team has been relatively successful, but I am also forward looking. If or when McDermitt gets fired, I would look with interest at the new regime and hope he can bring home the Lombardi.
  13. Noting the bold above; I have heard several pundits describe the Bills passing game as simple. Lots of “mesh” crossing / rubs. So I agree more creative is needed including ways getting our RBs into the passing game (and I don’t mean those quick passes behind the line of scrimmage to the edge). It is worth noting that on the TD to Coleman, Knox was wide open due to Ty Johnson’s rub that worked beautifully.
  14. I cant wait for the day you start a poll. Youre getting so many questions...
  15. Brady? How about this guy 🤔
  16. I think you should name who you think the McD apologists are. There can be more than two camps here, it’s not just apologists and whiners. There is a broad spectrum, so this label stuff doesn’t sit well with me. But I can’t say I’m surprised.
  17. Not sure how much it has to do with Bernard being out, but the defense the last 6 quarters has been dominant. Cincy will be a much bigger challenge, but the defebse is trending in the right direction.
  18. I went with the 2nd option, but my answer really depends on HOW we win the superbowl. If the DEF dominates an entire playoff run to a SB victory I'd gladly eat some crow.
  19. The question that remains is what happens come playoff time and you run into team that shuts down the run. Can they effectively move the ball through the air. Injuries and talent have played a part but think Brady deserves the majority of the blame. He is not at LSU anymore and is not fielding an all star team where he can do whatever he wants. I am hoping once we get healthy we will see improvement but still a question mark. The pass offense has taken step back since he has been the OC and I just want to see a nice balance where you keep defenses on their heels where they don't know what is coming.
  20. I dont think I under or over sell him, I just sell him He's a decent coordinator, and a coach capable of rebuilding a bad culture. He isnt a championship caliber head coach tho. Agreed on the best argument part. After a decade, if you havent gotten it done, the message grows stale. I just meant those type of teams. Not that it was actually going to happen. McD wont be fired this year anyways.
  21. Houston was the beneficiary of probably the worst trade in the history of sports which definitely helped a bit haha it gets a little bit hard to track because they traded picks for further picks but you can trace Will Anderson and Lassiter back to that and I think maybe Calen bullock too crazy thing is they missed on a chunk of those picks and coulda been even better 😂
  22. I really hope our coaching staff can come up with a gameplan to disrupt Burrow and their offense. He has had 3 games against us and burned us completely in 2 of them and looked to be on the way to doing that in the Hamlin game before it was stopped.
  23. The Jets have won three out of their last five. Granted they are going nowhere this year, but they are playing hard for Glenn. The players seem to have bought in to what the CS wants to do as far as changing the culture. I would be surprised if Glenn gets fired after one year. McDaniel with the Dolphins is another story.
  24. haha Thanks? There should be a little blue Show Results link next to the Submit Vote button.
