  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah I caught that yesterday too. Seems like a little frustration with Bishop and maybe Bass too
  3. Expectations are high! Kick butt!
  4. More joint practice fights with the Falcons starting QB thrown to the ground.
  5. Very pleased to see this. Much relief.
  6. The Rams RB has to be pissed. Just as good in many ways and a far better blocker. Lesson learned; hold-in and be patient.
  7. Maybe they should have figured that out when he was crying to his mommy.
  8. McDermott is calling guys out this year with much more regularity. Be interesting to see how they respond
  9. McDermott said this offseason he did that and changes were going to be made. He got bigger on the DL,but Jackson looked like a dumpster fire so that isnt going to plan. And Im sure the didn't expect Bishop to be Mr Glass. That said, 3rd down stoppage is still crap,so something has to give.
  10. “Well these hedge trimmers do a good job at cutting so let’s use them for my child’s first haircut”
  11. ? Do you mean Ms. Sif Phylis
  12. Interested to see how much guaranteed money each year. I am happy with the deal but ideally it's one you could get out of with a year or two left if you really need it
  13. HEY! I represent that remark! 😡
  14. Except for his thc testing levels!
  15. i didn't even know this site had ads. News to me. And yeah they are mostly generated from your browsing behavior lol
  16. I’m glad they were able to make the deal. It was not looking promising to me every time Cook kept promoting 15M per year. I thought 3 years @ 10-12 was the fair range. Beane apparently negotiated hard to keep it close to that range. One concern I had with the contract was the 4 years, especially considering James will turn 30 in September of that final year and his brother Dalvin declined a lot at 28. However, Dalvin had much more wear on his legs at a young age. He had 687 carries at Florida State vs James 230 carries at Georgia. Overall, Dalvin (now 30) has 2044 carries (NFL & college). James (26 in September) has 763 carries (NFL & college). Hopefully James lighter workload so far in his career will allow him to still have his speed throughout this contract.
  17. awesome news! They paid the man!
  18. At what point does McD take responsibility for having a scheme that apparently requires 10k hours of practice and a football PHD to learn? Injuries happen. Roster turnover happens. Other coaches simplify coach to their players strengths. Rewatching last years playoffs it’s brutal to see how many wide open guys ran through our coverage. And how we were completely predictable on 3rd down at the same time. We’ve spent so much draft capital on D and the D stunk. Do all the players really stink? I’m thinking McD needs a mirror.
  19. The way everyone is talking about Cook being such a great skill player for us, makes you wonder where the hell the rest of the playmakers are. Noone thinks we have any playmakers on offense besides Josh and James. And to be honest maybe Ty Johnson is #3 as a playmaker. I think Shakir is pretty dam good as well. But something is wrong with our WR's and TE's if none are considered big time playmakers. Look at Coleman. Seriously, is he any better or as good as Kristian Wilkerson or Tyrell Shavers? We really need some WR's and TE's to step up and make a difference to get this team to the next level. Lets hope it happens.
  20. Better that than peeking at your medical records.
  21. But Wild Cherry was an above average white band.
  22. Every player on every team is dependent on their teammates. The WRs are dependent on their QB and their fellow skill players. The OL is dependent on their RB to find and maximize the hole. The DL is dependent on their fellow DLs to plug the right gaps and apply complementary pressure. Etc. What I know about Cook is that his skill set in this offensive system with this group of players works really well. That's what matters. I agree he is just a part of a machine, and he is not such a great player that he would fit every machine in the NFL perfectly - such players are rare and are at the top of their position. Cook however is not getting paid like he is that caliber of player. He's getting paid for what he is, which is a really good part of a greater whole. We have seen other RBs in the Josh Allen offense and it's never looked as consistently good as it did with Cook last year. My take is you don't mess with that. We're in the championship window now and shouldn't disrupt the one part of our offense that worked extremely well last year because we wish the cap number was $2 million less. The only question that matters is does our chance of beating KC in the playoffs improve with Cook on the field? The answer to that question is obvious - we don't even have a chance at the end this past AFCCG without his contributions. I'm in favor of paying players that help us get us past KC in the playoffs. Moving forward Beane will have to sacrifice the likes of Austin Johnson and Larry Ogunjobi. I'll get over it.
  23. I know nothing more than you, but sounds like a backup as they need bodies. He’s only started for lowly Jax for 34 out of 84 possible games.
