Tyler Dunne's piece on Caleb Williams is DAMNING
Coach Tuesday replied to estro613's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, that's misdirection. The OP posted about the content of the article. You immediately chimed in with a troll-post about the author. You're admitting you haven't read the article. I don't think that's productive, and that's my opinion. And I also find it ironic (I know you would say that it's "fitting") that your issue with him is that he provocatively takes shots at people without providing substance. -
The KC Vs Chargers game implications for the Bills
boyst replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills win AFC Chiefs wildcard @#5 face #4 AFC South (lol). Ravens @2 face #7 and win Chargers at 3 face #6 Steelers/bengals and lose Bills host Steelers bengals Ravens host #5 Chiefs One example but it'd be hard to face the Chiefs in my expectations if we get #1 seed. If we get #2 I'd expect it. Ravens would be with us at the top. Chiefs would be #5 if they don't win division. Playing as #5 playing #4 which is likely someone like the AFC is great for #5. -

You know what would be funny? If the Bills finally get the one seed and in the same year, the chiefs finally lose their division. Imagine we have to play them in the divisional round instead of some trash division winner like the Texans. š¤¦āāļø -

I don't know if I've ever been to that one. I've been to a lot of OTBs in WNY through the years. The one I used to go to most was the one on Tonawanda St in Riverside when I lived right over the Tonawanda town line on River Road in the early 1980s. There was a laundromat across the street so I could do my laundry & bet at the same time. In the mid 70s I was always at the Dunkirk OTB. After I graduated from Fredonia, I decided to stay in the area for another year, and I was working the night shift at Dunkirk Ice Cream & hanging out at OTB in the afternoon. They laid me off in September & wanted me back for some shifts. They couldn't get me at the house I was renting a room at, so they sent someone to OTB to tell me to report to work at midnight. -

Itās a pity that the ājournalistsā who get the most attention these days are the ones with the wildest takes. Stephen A, nick wright and all those other idiots who spend their time screaming on YouTube and twitter. one of my favorite guys on TV is Cosell and he doesnāt seem as popular as he should be because he doesnāt shout or scream and always emphasises heās only going by the tape. People donāt want that these days. They donāt want films that focus on character and plot, they want cgi marvel porn with a different building exploding every 3 seconds. Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract
TheFunPolice replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
IMO a trade like this cripples your team. Bills would need to give up probably Oliver or Rousseau plus 2 #1 picks, then make the cap work which might involve moving someone else. Huge upgrade at DE, but you downgrade big time at DT, you have cap issues and no #1 picks for 2 years with a lot of highly paid players. It just never makes sense. -

I get what your point is here, but I would add... There was no risk to the US Naval forces. The issue is how much confidence the US had that this was actually, as claimed, a boat full of drugs headed for the US. I am still confused how such a small craft could make it to the US from Venezuela, a long way away, so I suspect it was headed to a drop off point for further transport. Either way, it was likely a hellfire missile from a drone, and that is approved at the highest gov authority, not from an on scene commander.

I wouldn't. I mentioned to a friend a month ago that they may miss the playoffs. Division crown is much more difficult this year with SD and Denver greatly improved. They also won 9 games by one score last year. I don't see that happening again. Their defense isn't as good, Kelce is a year older and slower, down Rice for 6 weeks (and now add worthy for however long). They've now got Eagles, Giants, Ravens, Jags, and Lions next up. All except that Jags have very tough defenses. Could they possibly start this year 1-5 or 2-5? They'll probably end up with a wild card, but not making it is completely in the books. -

I already wasted 40 minutes of my life listening to Tyler Dunne try to figure out his internet connection and the group blabbering on about nothing juicy at all, Iāll take your word that dyslexia element is the juiciest element of the report. -
Thatās how poor the Bills defense was- allowing KC to score the most points it had all year

āYou need to pay $5 to read āAxe-To-Grind Monthlyā otherwise you are just being a troll and maybe threatening the bastion of free speech!ā Maybe if Ty Dunne didnāt make a deserving reputation of posting hatchet jobs, more folks would have an open-mind and actually pay to read his work instead of writing it off. You know. Vote with your wallet and all that? Thought that was just doing your part as a good citizen. I guess I NEED to give Dunne some more money to have an opinion on him. It's just the first game and all, but it's hard to imagine a scenario where this loss won't matter down the road in some fashion re the playoffs. And it also suggests the possibility that there's a new sheriff in town in the AFC West. Time will tell but a promising start for anyone anti-Chiefs! -

The Chiefs lost to a division rival in the opening game of the season. It's not nothing. It will likely come into play later in the season with regards to the seeding in the AFC. Next week they play the Super Bowl winners they lost to last year. Game 3 is on the road against the Giants. Should be an easy win, but .............. Game 4 is against the Ravens at home. A Bills win tomorrow night would make that Ravens game BIG for both teams. Go Bills. -

Coach Tuesday replied to estro613's topic in The Stadium Wall
IDK how you can accuse him of hiding behind a paywall (itās his livelihood - if he joined āBig Mediaā the hordes here would dismiss him on that basis instead), and heās literally putting his name on a piece accusing Caleb of being a coach-killer who may have dyslexia and refuses to hear criticism, and accusing Poles of being an unqualified autocrat who concealed critical information from his coaching staff about the most important player on the roster. Dunne is signing his own name to all of that and heāll have to deal with the consequences. As opposed to someone hiding behind a message board screen name saying all kinds of things about the messenger. Again, Iām not pro-Dunne. I thought his hit on McD was petty and weak but to his credit he went and sat down with Beane and McD and that had to have been awkward, but he did his job and I found him somewhat (but not enough) contrite about his previous writing. But what kills me is view around here that and in society that killing the messenger is the right response to a message you donāt like. And folks coming on here basically saying āI havenāt read this and shouldnāt have to but Iām sure it sucksā how is that contributing to the discourse in any productive way? Itās just troll behavior being legitimized. -

JFC, you dolt. Iāve said several times I am against forced/mandated covid vaccines. I also believe RFKs vaccine rhetoric is dangerous. Both can be true. But you just blindly follow a guy with zero qualifications who tells you what you want to hear to confirm your conspiracy theories. Yes, itās terrifying. I chose to listen to my doctors. But I also know you think all of them are in some grand conspiracy to make money and want everyone to get autism or die because every one of them that went to an actual medical school and are board certified is part of this major evil plan. āGene therapy.ā ššš -

You may be "terrified" (as you were during Covid) but you can still run out and get as many jabs as you want. And you can have family members jabbed to the moon and back. Get as much 'gene therapy' as you like. It's also interesting that you're terrified by someone proposing we do do some REAL testing on vaccines. That might answer a lot of questions people have. Terrifying! -
