Supreme Court hands DOGE big wins in Social Security, records cases The Hill [DC], by Ella Lee & Zach Schonfeld The Supreme Court on Friday handed the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) two major victories in its expanding legal battle over drastic efforts to reshape the federal bureaucracy. In two separate emergency rulings issued simultaneously, the court lifted a block on DOGE personnel accessing sensitive Social Security Administration (SSA) systems and wiped a ruling forcing DOGE to turn over discovery in a records lawsuit. https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/5337658-supreme-court-doge-social-security-records/ .

I see (in other threads) that California and Los Angeles are well known "fascists" What a hoot Joey F. is.

So I guess it’s ok to also “steal” from Walmart, lowes, Home Depot and all those other robber barons??

And people complained when Directv had it all for 400$

It simply delays the inevitable and puts them another year further out from potentially becoming great again because it's never going to happen until they find their next Roethlesberger.

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe to the price listed for ST is the stand alone without YTTV. If you have YTTV, St is around $100 less. Plus if you live in Buffalo, the games shown on Prime, Netflix, and Peacock will be available on local TV But you do need something like at a minimum an antenna to watch the local networks -

Insurrection: Los Angeles

but Jan 6 was just fine... -
I did read it, and several others as well None of them actually seem to name the role or specifically define the scope other than some hand wringing about him have a leadership role and "overseeing" something. I'm not arguing that it's a good idea, but rather that it's probably not quite what it seems and is more fear mongering.

nothing to see here... https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-uses-epstein-s-lawyer-as-human-shield-against-musk-s-really-big-bomb/ar-AA1GfttG Trump had a long, documented relationship with Epstein through the late 1980s to the early 2000s and appears in numerous photographs alongside him and his convicted partner, Ghislane Maxwell. In a 2002 interview, Trump even praised Epstein as a “terrific guy.” In 2017, Epstein described himself to author Michael Wolff as Trump’s “closest friend for 10 years,” although the pair appear to have had a falling out in the early 2000s. “He’s a horrible human being,” Epstein later said of the president in the same interview.

Trump/Elon Breakup Fallout
Joe Ferguson forever replied to Roundybout's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
no surprise his biz and billions in contracts at jeopardy. but it's too late. His posts are everywhere for all to see. the image is done. -
Agree, although Cam is a proven NFL gunner too (he isn't peak Taiwan Jones and Siran Neal but he is solid) which might factor in. Sort of remains to be seen whether teams still value those things at cutdown in the new ST rules era.... but historically a LOT of the guys who get picked off at waiver time by other teams are guys to help at the bottom of the roster on special teams.

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
Dan Darragh replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the NFL sells you a $300 ticket the marginal cost of goods sold is zero. If Walmart sells you a $300 lawnmower, the marginal cost of goods sold is probably $280. So you're making a completely false comparison. That's why talking about revenue is meaningless. But I guess I'm the one who doesn't know what I'm talking about. Ho-hum, back to Donald and Elon.... their fights are more interesting. -
