He did it several times yesterday. Allen is desperately trying to make something happen and Dawkins decides to give up halfway through the play.

And they've scored a lot of points this year to. That happens when your MVP level QB gooses the numbers when he puts on the Super Man cape. Unfortunately in the football world beyond High School one guy, no matter how great, can not be expected to function at an elite level every single game. So I'll keep bitching about the WR group because while it wasn't very good last season it's gotten worse with the departures of Cooper & Hollins.

Time to Rebuild? Too Many Beane Holes.

Ya were saving that for their 70 million shopping spree this summer.... -
Greg Rousseau has turned out to be a complete slug.

I believe teams are running away from Rousseau because the interior DL is getting blown off the ball and Bosa has struggled all year to set the edge on runs. Rousseau has actually saved quite a few runs from being explosive plays because he crashed down on the backside and stopped it for a 1 or 2 yard gain when it likely would have gone for a house call. I don't know that Rousseau is ever going to be a double digit sack guy, but his run defense is very good. -
I was at the game and let me tell you what was happening downfield

Beane might be anticipating a non zero chance that the wheels fall off this season (with the dline injuries they might have already) and 2026 might be the highest they're drafting in a while and for the foreseeable future...not saying they won't trade that pick, but Miami was probably valuing it at the very end of the draft and they would get much much more value when it's a known pick if it's in the mid or even upper 20s. -

I agree and no one can use the “but he sets the edge on runs so well” excuse either-the run defense is TERRIBLE! I notice Bosa out there, at times Epenesa is visible on the screen…I never notice Groot out there any more -
Dawkins giving up on blocks

When your Quarterback says in an interview early in the season that winning a Super Bowl was no longer a must for him, you've got a major problem. Time to shake things up and not just with the half wit wideout. -
Ffffffff Beane.

Difference makers? There's one poor B****** on here who compared Shavers to a Hall of Famer! It's very sad

This is how I see the rest of it shaking out exactly.

What is RAS? Is that speed in a vacuum? what does the speed look like when opposing players are putting hands on these little muffins? -

He’s hurting us at BOTH end positions because we can’t even think to rest Bosa with his injury due to Rousseau being a compete non-factor rushing the passer. -
Players was not an option to pick here, and was the main reason for the L. Our O-line got whipped. Simple as that. Brady shares some blame, as does McD, but only dummies think "is it this guy's fault or that guy?". Personnel didn't execute and/or got beat at their assignments out there. Heck, speaking of personnel, the D stood up in the 2nd half and gave the O a chance to take it, but they couldn't.

This team is too soft. Allen is too soft, like Stevie Johnson said h4 needs to be more of an Ahole.

After Greg Rousseau’s 3 sack game against the Cardinals in the 2024 opener, he has played a total of 26 regular season games. In those games he has a total of 8 sacks, with only 6 of those being unassisted. He has 88 total tackles since the beginning of 2024. Last season he had 15 “stuff” tackles which are in the backfield. This year he only has 3 of those. https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/gamelog/_/id/4362506/greg-rousseau This guy is literally become the invisible man of the defense and it has been going on for almost 2 full seasons. The bad part is they just signed this slug to a big contract and we are stuck with him. On a day where a lot of people are taking deserved heat, Rousseau seems to be a forgotten man. He shouldn’t be. He IS a huge part of the problem on ghat side of the ball. maybe one of the reporters can flat out ask McDermott about his lack of production. I’d like to hear an honest answer from the coach.

He is also 31 years old and likely past his prime. Maybe why he leads league in false starts also. He is one of way too many on this team who are vibes guys first. Too many on this team think a Super Bowl would be nice, but doesn’t represent the undying goal to chase at ANY cost.

Even my wife, who knows diddly poo about football, noticed it and called it out last night.
