  1. Past hour
  2. It was over in 2018, and 2020 put an exclamation point on it.
  3. If he is to miss the Ravens game: Coleman needs to be in at slot; he will match up against Humphrey (6', 210) so Coleman has 4" on him. Humphrey is quick and can recover in speed but he's not as fast as he used to be - what the Ravens will do is funnel that speed up the middle to their safeties. We are ok with that because Coleman will feast or famin. What this would do is clear opportunities up for Knox laying down low or Kincaid running seam routes. Knox sitting in space will be great. The Ravens will have to decide if they are ok letting Coleman potentially run deep on them and Josh connecting or let the shallow stuff free. With Cook playing (as he should, damn dude signed a contract) we will be able to keep an explosive running game up with our 3 RB's. Johnson, assuming he's on the roster and a plan for 2025, will be able to leak out and also be an option on 3rd downs. The Ravens defense is very underrated but we should be able to keep them on the field. So, the inverse, if Shakir plays, will be Shakir running all over the middle pulling coverage schemes to make imbalances. I don't see him as a major factor for this game, honestly.
  4. There was one report this morning that they aren’t that far off. Maybe it’ll get worked out. I don’t think we can afford to trade him this year. Johnson and Davis are change of pace backs. Cook is a legit weapon that gets pressure off of Josh
  5. Was that a CTW report?
  6. I get the one's here minus ESPN+ https://www.spectrum.net/page/streaming-apps-with-spectrum-tv
  7. Everyone eats, but the Cook FEASTS
  8. Ill say it again.. IF he holds out into the season, trade him. We are not going to change our position on money and neither is he at that point. And do you want a 5th or just let him walk for nothing? That is what I am tired of from Beane. When the season gets here and we kick off against the Ravens, we will know what the situation really is.
  9. If that deal was on the table, I suspect Beane would finalize it instantly and Jerry Jones family might have him institutionalized.
  10. That depends on if the passing game is efficient. There were a few games last year where the run game is what got out offense going, specifically with Cook getting some explosive runs that I don't expect Davis or Johnson to get. Oh well, this is a 2026 problem. Everything that happens between now and week 1 is just posturing from both sides. I hate to think what the Bills offense would look like without Cook in 2025. I would be very concerned about our ability to produce explosive offense and easy button TDs. As for 2026, we'll hopefully be able to make up for his inevitable exit in FA by investing resources into the passing game.
  11. Trade him? Why? He's on the last year (of an admittedly undervalued) contract, what are you gonna get for him? A 5th at most. Possibly no more than a pick swap. Play him this year (it's in HIS best interest to do well to showcase his talents for a new contract), let him walk in free agency. If he really does sign a ~$15m/yr contract, heck, even a $10m/yr would prolly suffice, if we're net loss WRT FAs, we'd get a 3rd or 4th round comp pick. Don't think trading him is prudent.
  12. Davis, Johnson, Kincaid, Coleman, Shakir, Knox, and Samuel combined for 18 TDs for Buffalo. Cook had 18.
  13. I didn't see Montana play, nope. I didn't see Unitas play either, or Otto Graham... But Brady took it to the point where it was beyond debate and you don't need to have watched all those other guys. I didn't see Pele play either, but I don't need to. Messi is the GOAT.
  14. In other news, water is in fact wet
  15. Agreed. Look, as a Bills fan I'd love for every player to agree to play here for vet minimum. But that isnt happening, nor is it fair to the guys who actually make the league what it is. Who put their bodies and long term health on the line. Who have been training and working at this for decades. And who typically have less than 6-8 years to cash in. If the NFLPA had a spine, it would be more like a 65/35 revenue split in favor of the players.
  16. Both HBO MAX and PEACOCK are available to stream if you have certain tiers on Spectrum cable.
  17. To me the worst possible position a franchise can be in is having a Dak or a Tua, where they're good enough to likely demand franchise money but they aren't in the Top 5 or so guys that can really change the outcome. Such a difficult sport for a team and so hard to handle it correctly. We saw Dak and Tua get the bag. Baker didn't, then Baker ends up doing what he did. To say we lucked out would be an understatement.
  18. Sirius and others said he was having an amazing camp.
  19. It happened at the closed practice today. Baylon Specter injured No word yet on severity.
  20. I have said it before, but I firmly believe each and every player should do everything in their power to maximize their earnings while in the league. Get what you can young man, I support you.
  21. I would run through a wall for this guy.
  22. You are arguing context but there was no context in the original statement - simply that four Super Bowl wins and zero losses is better than four Super Bowls wins and 2 losses. I agree winning in the finals does raise ones status exponentially however in this case the two have the same number of Super Bowls wins at the age you are comparing. I don't think losing in a couple of Super Bowls subtracts from the wins but rather adds (a little bit) to it.
  23. I do think it’s possible the Bills extend him for 3 years/$30 million, or something like that. Cook would be wise to take that deal.
  24. The season is over a month away. They are just being cautious with everyone for every nick they get. If this were week 2 of the preseason, and they is still two weeks out from the season opener, I might have a different take but we’re not there yet
