He has an injury still and needs to be cleared. Not sure they are depending on him ? Patriots have the leverage still Just the way I read it.

I don’t blame Cook or any player for negotiating the best contract possible, especially considering the short length of the average NFL career. I do blame Cook or any player for negotiating in a very public way and becoming a distraction to building a championship team. Publicly demanding certain $$, scrubbing the Bills from your social media accounts and putting your Buffalo area home on the market are all distractions and a negative for team building. It creates another walking on egg shells situation.

Mini-Camp: A James Cook Barometer

More than once. A 70 page one and a 27 page one. Anytime it goes a week or so without comments and they fall off the page, someone creates a new James Cook thread for people to lose it all over again in. At this point, there should be a Pinned all encompassing James Cook thread. -

The Cowboys, Overexposed? Maybe. Overrated? .... You Decide
BullBuchanan replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills and the Cowboys are pretty much the same team right now. Strong regular season teams. Not sure how we have the ego to talk down to them. They played without their starting QB last year and still were respectable. They've gone 12-5 each of the last 3 seasons with Dak under center. We don't want to start comparing Lombardi's with them either. -
FEMA cuts, MAGA cries: the hypocrisy hits home

37 pages of silly false narratives day after day. Week after week. Year after year. Same exact bs. -
I used to think that Israel and Palestine could coexist and would have been more sympathetic before October of 2023, but the conduct over the last two years has changed that. Palestinians started a battle by killing people at a concert and spread chaos into the US and Europe by destroying everything around them and persecuting Jewish people. The Palestinian people as a nation are barbaric squatters who know of no other way but violence and Chaos. Keeping them as a nation is like letting a rattlesnake roam openly in your house. There will never be peace because their only goal is destruction and the elimination of Israel. Yes, there are no doubt there good individuals, but they should be able to escape that and go to a more civilized environment. In my opinion, Palestine has lost any right to exist as a nation and they get what they deserve.

Yeah, the brain drain in the coaching staff is the primary concern. On paper, they have a better combination of physical talent and prime age skill than the 2023 team that had the lead on SF in the second half of the NFCCG. And I tend to expect that either they or Washington ultimately end up with Trey Hendrickson. It's gotta' be one of those two......right? As much as I don't like that positional value for guys like Gibbs and Campbell........Tyliek and Ratledge weren't premium position players either. But they already have a lot of high end talent at premium positions. The Bills have the greater QB and that's the most important thing........but the Lions have upgraded versions of a lot of the Bills other best players. Hutchinson > Rousseau. Lions OT's > Bills OT's. St. Brown > Shakir. I'd expect those more recent, questionable day 1/2 picks to take a few years to catch up to them. Like when they gotta' replace a Jameson Williams, for example. The Lions aren't at the Eagles personnel level of course, but I think their starting 22 is more talented than they might get credit for on a Bills board.

The days of 56k, how I don't miss them.

If a new deal were to be agreed upon, there would likely be a significant signing bonus, which would presumably be paid immediately, though the cap hi would be prorated over the life of the deal. I think in many cases, new deals that are signed before the old contracts expire supercede the old contract.

Yeah, but what message is he sending that's worth missing all these early but still important practices? "I'm really serious, guys! I really am mad now!" It's just so juvenile. If anything, Beane is less likely to sign him if he holds out, and I see why. He loses nothing by coming to mini-camp and gains a lot, including Beane's good will. Some of these athletes have the minds of 14-year olds.

It's Top 32 for 2025, not the previous two years. There are always up and comers and guys that slip down a little. It's hard to argue that any of the guys above him don't deserve to be.

Yes, I very much think the Palestine protestors have peaceful intentions!! Isolated incidents of violence from mentally disturbed people don’t define or negate an entire political/humanitarian movement. Would you like me to carefully review all the violent hate crimes, in the U.S. alone since 10/7/23, by self-avowed Zionists against Palestinian Americans?? Where were all you PPP sh!theads when, say, Joseph Czuba murdered Wadee Alfayoumi??!! I’m kind of relieved, though, to see Israel apologists FINALLY admitting that they want Trump to crack down on free speech. This is the natural impulse for those who can’t defend the indefensible: a certifiable GENOCIDE funded by the American taxpayer. But those who would like to try anyway with me should first understand that this conflict spatially extends beyond the Gaza Strip and temporally before 10/7/23. So before attempting to tango with La Commie Kay, you must first have a decent understanding of the West Bank settler encroachments and the New Yishuv of the pre-Nakba era. And so I’ll now patiently await among the verdant subforum foliage, like a political praying mantis, ready to rip some f*cking Zionist heads off after our disputatious embrace. Peace, -Kay

No, I support a US department that was created to manage the borders and keep out criminals and people who try to bypass the legal process. Every other country in the world has border patrol, get over it. You on the other hand support terrorism against Jewish people and call for the deaths of government agents for doing their job. You are a warped human being who has let hate corrode you to the point of criminal level irrationality. People with your mentality have said the same crap for ten years, it gets old and more people see through the BS every year. I don't get mad anymore, I laugh because every irrational act and comment makes a Democrat loss more likely in 2026 and 2028. Keep em coming.
