Typically that's when it happens in season and players don't have enough recovery time to get 100% Taking 4-5-6weeks off right now gives him the ample recovery time to come back and not have it be resurfacing every week If he did this week 6 yeah It would linger the whole year because he probably never get it 100%

I have to disagree. Parsons on a DL with Ed Oliver and Greg Rousseau (if he didn’t go in a trade) plus the sky high potential of TJ Sanders… Disgusting. Best DL in the NFL level disgusting. We’ve only seen Rousseau and Oliver out there with an elite talent for like 6 games before Von got hurt. Parsons not only is elite himself, picture Oliver and Rousseau with 1 on 1’s all game, and heaven help teams if Sanders reaches his potential.
