  1. Past hour
  2. RIP Todd Snider.
  3. I think it’s more of an indictment on Beane signing C players to B contracts and B players to A contracts whilst also not using them. an alarming stat is: “46.7%of Khalil Shakir's receptions this season have come from passes caught at or behind the line of scrimmage that’s just on the offensive side of the ball. We’ll save the absurd contract talk on defense for another post.
  4. First round contracts give you a fifth year option But realistically there's not 32 first round picks.. the top 10-15 is filled with blue chip football players with blue chip athleticism and traits with football IQ then there's the first round picks that people are reaching on for athleticism hoping their football talent and IQ will catch up But between 30 and 70 is where pure football players are.. metrics are not always the most important.. this is where guys who played great ball at Big conferences with production and football IQ are and always have been... What I call pure football players And beane has struggled there
  5. I guess maybe they were waiting for a player that could replace his role blocking, maybe they felt Shavers wasn't there. Now that Gabe Davis is available, if he's healthy he can at least perform Coleman's blocking assignments just as well.
  6. No Evans, Godwin, or Irving. I get that the Bills have their injury issues too but: Bills 24-14
  7. Based on what? Mcconkey came out same height and weight as Diggs while being faster and damn good in the SEC. Sorry NO Coleman does not have a higher ceiling You can find some damn good talent there, but with 1st round contracts guaranteed, you gotta hit more than not. And quit trading down with the team you are most trying to beat! Esp. when their GM drafts better than you!
  8. It wasn't Doug Whaley in charge of that draft, it was Sean McDermott. Pegula wanted to draft Mahomes but didn't want to meddle in the process and overrule McDermott.
  9. Especially because the second round is where the best pure football players are
  10. no I’m a buffaloian. That makes me an outsider here
  11. I disagree, you cant miss how he does in the early rounds.
  12. There's at least one other possible scenario. Teams will sometimes intentionally leak false information to some employees they suspect of being the source of previous leaks. If the false info is publicly reported it implicates the employee or few employees that were fed that info.
  13. There are some whiffs that are just too obvious, and they hit me like when our OC gets too cute and try’s a stupid gimmick play when the obvious play is the right choice. The one that still drives me up a wall was when they passed on DK for that RT (I believe…but it was someone worthless). If you want to go down that rabbit hole, with DK, no need to trade for Diggs. No trade, we keep our #1 that could’ve been J.Jefferson. Obviously just a “what if” fever dream but imagine what JA could’ve done with DK /JJ and it’s not like it would’ve taken Madden like trades. This was what was right in front of us.
  14. Exactly. All the fans who suck at scouting can’t understand this. But yes, this.
  15. I'm excited to watch just because of this. sorry. Edit. I do wish him success. But maybe develope some more. Or how about this. Buffalo could use him the right way.
  16. If every wide receiver sucks then it’s not the wr is my general thinking. I’m happy to be wrong.
  17. It’s frustrating that Josh took Diggs to another level and got so much out of Beasley, Brown, Sanders, even Robert Foster. Beane has brought in guys with similar (with exception of Diggs) career experience in Samuel, Palmer, and Moore, yet they can’t come close to their past career averages here. The QB didn’t change, so that leaves…..
  18. Quit the message board and grow a brain. “McBeane” covers both McDermott and Beane, got it internet cowboy?
  19. At the Sports book Keon’s total receiving yards are at 28.5 right now. of course he has to play at least one snap in the game. Not sure he is a scratch though until the Sports Books take him down.
  20. It doesn't seem that the group of WRs from Coleman's year has turned out to be the great, deep group of WRs that was advertised. Even the WRs selected before Keon have been disappointments to some degree. I don't see Keon becoming a quality WR and I would not be surprised if he is not back with the Bills next season. We will need two real boundary WRs next season in addition to all of the other needs that we will have.
  21. Last year the offense took off when the corpse of Amari Cooper at least forced teams to worry about him. Prior to that Mack Hollins was simply a guy we kept launching deep shots to with Coleman-like efficiency. Is it an amazing WR room? No. Can a 26 year old healthy Gabe give us more than half retired Cooper? Can Palmer give us more than Hollins? Id say there is potential for that answer to be yes.
  22. Probably just a prank. Tomorrow at introductions Starting at wide receiver Keon Coleman
  23. Hilarious AND a fantastic reminder of how great Gladys Knight is. What a legend.
