A couple weeks ago when we were all predicting the schedules I had us going 1-1 @Houston and @Pittsburgh. I will stick with that and hope the extra rest and urgency will get us over the hump.. But there's no way we are going into Pittsburgh and dominating the trenches on both sides, so they are going to need a takeaway or two...and some splash plays on offense.

Mcbeane needs to get over wanting “Their” guys. Buffalo needs about 3 difference makers. If they are hard to deal with its on the HC to make it work. Diggs may turnout to be Mcdermott’s biggest failure especially, if it makes them afraid of Aj Brown or George Pickens type player. Bill lost his fast ball in NE when he only wanted to coach a certain type of guy. That is becoming the Bills. Want a certain type of guy and reluctant to bring in somebody that doesnt fit that.

I don’t care what we do.. sign Shaq Lawson, play Javon Solomon at DE. If Bosa isn’t right for the playoffs, it doesn’t matter if we make it or not, any team we play will have all day to throw. Nevermind the fact that since Bosa’s playing with one hand right now, he’s probably as effective as Shaq Lawson.

The Pittsburgh game is lowkey an early playoff matchup. I do think the winner makes the playoffs, the loser will be in trouble. That being said, all the other wild card contenders have to play each other and will rack up some losses. Who knows if it's favorable for Buffalo or not?

Your humo(u)r is not lost, but what is a modern day Patriot. I know Paul Revere was, but today. Are you considered a Patriot, is Leh-n, how does one describe it. Is it an American citizen who says screw the world or hates socialists, hugs commies or hates commies, would the late Dick Cheney who led the war against WMD be a Patriot, but his daughter not be. Is a Patriot a birthright or do you have to do something to become one. Can you oppose government action, or demand government action. What is a Patriot in 2025. Is Rand Paul a Patriot, is MTGreene, can you be a democrat or a Muslim, and who makes the determination? Can you challenge or must you conform to the government of the day. The original Patriot was against the government of the day, finding it oppressive, over tax. The original Patriot found himself without say, unrepresented in his own country, faced with all powerful King., attacked by their army, on their own soil. The original Patriot rebelled against the kefal army of the, refused to take orders that were legal in the day. So what is a Patriot in 2025.

I'm not saying I agree with everything he's saying, but at some point you have question the repeated bad luck on the injury front. Yes it's going to happen on some level, but it should even out over time relative to other teams. I'm sure people wouldn't question it as much if our defense was generally more productive. When you see the same issues year after year, there's generally more to it.

We're currently 7th in the standings and playing PIT this weekend. If we lose to PIT, and HOU wins, we drop to 9th with h2h losses against those 2 teams and at least still sit atop KC for another week at least. 😭

I do feel very envious of the Rams when I watch them. Having Davante Adams as a #2 receiver is an amazing luxury for Stafford. Hope Allen gets a receiving corps like that before he retires.

I don’t know that he has necessarily been solid though. With one arm, he’s basically another guy off the practice squad. May as well rest him at that point.

Even though the Bills have been extremely inconsistent, as you say and I agree the AFC is wide open....anyone could win it. I mean, the 7th seed I think has as good a chance as the #1 seed this year to win the conference. I think in 2021, it was much more realistic to miss the playoffs. We were 6-6 and in the 10th spot. We control our own destiny, 11 wins almost for sure gets you in. We have 4 more wins in us.

As of this morning, the Bills are in the 7 seed. Houston, who owns the head to head tie breaker is right behind us. The Chiefs are right behind them. I don't know what all goes into that 84%, but I can see our chances being significantly lower with the teams we face from here on out. I ran the Playoff Prediction tool a few times and the Bills made the playoffs roughly 6 out of the 10 tries. The possibility of missing the playoffs has never been more realistic. And even if they get in, do you see any world where this team shows up for 3 straight playoff games, on the road AND has a solid plan on both offense and defense? Then, avoids any in game injuries that would alter said amazing plans? I just don't this year.
