i don't think people misunderstand trump's political strategies at all. Other than immigration, i just think he's been doing things with no real plan in place. doge, tariffs, epstein, ukraine. etc, are all kind of a ***** show at this point. trump so far has done things that create media, but no real substance so far.
-
I think that’s about the most succinct way to put our situation
-
Well, the Bills scored 44 points vs that team the Rams were facing last night and should have had 46 if not for an errant throw to Gilliam on the 2 pt conversion.
-
This is tangent to my thoughts on Mike Vrable. I think he is a solid coach that has the ability to motivate men to run through a wall. I think he has the ability to build a team that can even get the AFC championship on some luck and effort. But I don't see him as the type of guy to run a football organization at the highest level. If he does have success it will be hand in hand with Josh McDaniel, and the entire staff. He knows defense, he knows every scheme, even if it's just from his experience.

Proof positive that coaching matters. That Bears team only knew how to lose last year, and the year before that, etc.... 2025 -- 8-3 record.

I'm a little worried. I've got like 12-15 people for Thanksgiving this year. The Kroger Butterball for .99/lb deal only applied to 10-20 lb turkeys. Clearly I need at least 23. Two smaller turkeys? Lame. But get the bigger one and I'm at $1.99/lb. What to do? Should I blame Biden? Trump? Please inform.

And people actually thought that the Rams would implode after they made the high stakes wager of going all-in on their last SB and look at them now, still going after the coveted Lombardi without missing a beat. Meanwhile, we don't even know if the Bills will get into the post season this year, let alone a SB showing........with a generational QB at the helm, mind you. UGH

It helps when your day 3 WR pick becomes one of the 5 best WR's in football.

Game week thread - Bills at Steelers

Steelers edge players will feast. Another bad loss coming up especially if the Steelers decide to stick to running the ball. -
My daughter said it all last night while watching the Rams vs Bucs game: "Why does it look so easy for the Rams (offense) and so difficult for the Bills?"

Let’s see what team shows up. If it’s the one from Miami, then it is the beginning of the end for the McD and Beane regime. It will take this year and next before the switch is made, but a no show performance in a must win, will confirm for me that McD lost the team. -
And that's where I'm getting the decision I'm coming to on Brandon Beane. We had to bring those guys back because it failed decisions with other free agents that we let go, with mismanaging the roster and cap, and worst of all piss poor drafting on the Blue Chip rounds. If we would have kept Mack Hollins and look for a quality free agent we wouldn't have to deal with this Curtis Samuel and Josh Palmer bull####. We would have a third or fourth receiver that can play special teams, and we don't have that. At some point soon we're going to have eight wide receivers on the roster in only two of them will occasionally play special teams. That is a criminal offense in my opinion. We're bringing in defensive line help because we're not getting anywhere with AJ, greg, and Joey Bosa is being safe for the playoff (I hope). I can't fault anyone for Ed's injury, that should happens. But we're seriously about to bring back shaq Lawson

Commie Mamdani To Meet Orange Hitler At White House

Please give me a break with the “when required to think” bit. You are the one that has rambled on incessantly about 51st state status and canceling of elections. Not exactly an Einstein. you did good with your first post on the subject. Since then it’s been your normal idiocy. Oh well. -
This is why its laughable when I see people on here who think we are, or could, trade 2 firsts for McVay. McVay is the golden boy there, he is LA football. He is what Carroll used to be when he was at USC, untouchable. Not only do the Rams love McVay, but all 307 of their fans in Los Angeles love him too. Plus, McVay is all about that LA life. It takes a tall glass of delusion to think we can trade for McVay.

We don't get to the SB because of the talent. Our best shot was when Josh was on his rookie deal --- but Beane has proven to be good, not great. Year after year, DL investments -- it's a smart choice, but if Beane would've had hit at a single point on DL we wouldn't have to continue investing. You simply can't get to the SB these days without a stud DL (or a single stud DL), or w/o a above avg WR/TE crew. We have neither of those right now. It's extremely pathetic that Beane gets to keep his job. Josh is elite, sure he gets all the credit in the world for him. But he has built a slightly above avg roster around him since Josh has had to be paid his 2nd contract. Beane is good at turning over a roster, but not sure he has it in him to find any more elite talented players.

The reason this team hasn't won the Super Bowl in year's past = coaching The reason this team won't win a Super Bowl this year (and likely at least next) = GM Beane has fallen off dramatically lately. Yes he's hit on some later round picks but he's swung and missed big time in free agency and with contracts. But when the roster was good enough, coaching let the team down. Coaching has still not been good this year. The Falcons, Dolphins, and Texans losses legitimately felt like we didn't even have a gameplan. But the talent is just sickeningly low outside of QB and RB
-
They have a great coach and GM, They have a stud receiver in Nacua and a Vet QB Stafford who is channeling Brady/Brees late career quality. They looked great yesterday. The only problem is that they might be peaking too early.
-
I agree, he never really translated... plus I am still pissed he wouldnt even give us an interview when he was the hot NFL Head coaching commodity out of Oregon.
-
In a season where the #1 seed was the expectation, I think the response from fans is more than warranted. Not only is the 1 seed out of the question with 6 games left, it seems like we are trending in the overall wrong direction with coaches and a salary cap issue that's only going to make it worse. For a team that's never won it and a fanbase that's been craving this their entire lives, I can't blame anyone for seeing this opportunity squandered.
-
Turns out, right Josh, wrong “Sean Mc”.
-
I really thought the year we moved on from Diggs, Gabe, Tre, Poyer, etc that we were on the way to making football decisions even if it hurt feelings. We were moving on from the guys who brought us out of the drought since they were no longer star players. Fast forward 18 months and we have 3 of those guys back and are apparently considering even more.
