  1. Past hour
  2. I’m thinking if some unstable employee in the Department of War stalks and shoots CEOs/Managers of the right type of companies, Roundy may soon be wearing the T shirt with DoW on the front and “That’s What It’s Good For!” on the back? It’s all in the branding.
  3. There’s definitely small guys that play bigger than their size I just don’t think worthy is one of them. He doesn’t really seem proficient at fighting for contested catches and it feels like he’s not really great at making adjustments to his speed when tracking a ball. Someone like Devonta smith is thin also and not very strong but seems a lot more feisty im just not buying the worthy hype yet…I feel like he’s got a shot to develop into the player that people seem to think he is right now he just doesn’t look there yet to me
  4. Who will get the nod if Tre doesn’t play?
  5. Really interested to see how strong is at corner back. It's rare that coaches praise a particular player in a press conference, but babich really praised him this week and mentioned something about him having a huge improvement in the last few weeks
  6. Exactly, it seems obvious that a larger object colliding with someone smaller is bad for the smaller person. However, I think there’s a lot more at play, I’m not a science guy, but NFL players seem equally injury prone. While other players happen to be somewhat immune to injury with good fortune. Remember, these 165 pound NFL players aren’t skin and bones. These guys are in peak condition, and likely more muscle bound than the average 230 pound dude on the street. I’m sure smaller players don’t absorb hits as well, but once again, there’s more at play. Being a large human (muscular or not) puts a lot of stress on the body also. They might absorb hits better, but their joints, bones, and muscles must work really hard. I just think these things really even out the injury risk.
  7. My biggest take away from the KC loss is that they have no pass rush without blitzing. Lesser observations are that they still have a problem at right tackle, most of the secondary looks slow, Chris Jones isn't the dominating guy he has been, and Pacheco hasn't regained the quickness he had prior to his injury. Even with all of that, Mahomes is still good and dangerous even with a below average supporting cast.
  8. All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. - Richard Adams, Watership Down
  9. Fair point, certainly coachimg quality was slipping toeards the end of Paterno's tenure, but I'd like to see a national championship at some point. Franklin has none, and most every year the team is inadequate against OSU and or UM. He just seems too conservative in the big games.
  10. I’d rather talk about the content.
  11. Coach, I notice you vomiting anytime someone says something negative about Dunne. Let me ask... Are you a fan? A friend?
  12. I hope we draft the Iowa State kicker
  13. Agree with that. Just the latest of the many things Goff has had to overcome in his career - this notion that Johnson made him. Goff was done dirty by McVay and he could’ve lost his fight and confidence being exiled to Detroit and instead it turns out he has incredible football (and general human, if you read about him) character. Really interesting and impressive dude.
  14. I agree, I’m not saying we’re going to see a bunch of elite small guys. It’s just the injury factor for those guys is severely overrated imo. The reason we don’t see a bunch of QB’s under 6’2 is because they can’t see the field, not due to injury risk. The same holds true for size at other positions for different reasons.
  15. Thanks for the info, I may have paid more up front, but I pay nothing per month. I'm reasonably tech savvy but it's nice to have such a simple, one-time charge system.
  16. I usually focus on the DL off the snap so I’ll primarily focus the interior DL. I think our 3T’s will have an advantage vs the ravens pass blocking. Faalele is a force vs the run but I think Ed, Sanders and Walker will have opportunities to run right by him. Vorhees has talent but only has 200 snaps since his knee injury in college iirc. He should also be taken advantage of. also eager to see how we employ our man blitzes. Expect to see them the entire night. If we don’t, it’ll probably be ugly for us. Lamar vs non blitz is as good as it gets. Lamar vs blitz- it gets ugly!
  17. I'll be watching Keon and also interested to see how they use Hawes, also the big man Walker on D
  18. I drafted him in fantasy. You’re welcome.
  19. Ok we might not have the right Karen
  20. Jared Goff has always been good. He was the first pick in the 2016 draft. He was good with the Rams, before McVay threw him under the bus. He wasn't made by Ben Johnson. The guy has always had talent. He just can't move much. Sure Ben Johnson has been a very good OC (remains to be seen how good of a HC he will be) but I think that's a false narrative that Ben Johnson made Jared Goff into a good QB.
