Los Angeles under military attack
Orlando Buffalo replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You use data that is garbage to make a point that makes no sense. To believe Latinos legally in the country are more prone to violence than Latinos who broke the law in order to be here is dumb. I can recognize patterns and know when I am being told something that makes no sense. -
Those are some very interesting numbers Ed. Makes you stop and think that maybe the expectations of a lot of us fans are out of wack at times. Tell me why do a lot of people call Greg Rousseau Groot? What is that about? Rousseau and AJ have been solid to good a lot of the time. But neither has been special. And you know not many NFL guys are special players. Tre White was special before his knee and achilles injuries. Matt Milano was special in 2022 until injuries derailed his career in London 2023. Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer were a special safety combo together in their prime, although I don't think each on their own was quite on that special level. But both were very good players. Kyle Williams was a special player for most of his career. Lets hope that both Rousseau and AJ can raise their games some this season to a very good level most weeks. I think most Bills fans would take that with a big tooth grin.

Your Mount Rushmore for bands from Buffalo
RichStadiumGuy replied to XXXtraAnchovies's topic in Off the Wall
Yeah... small world for sure but that's not him and I'd rather not put my friend's name out there... he passed away at a way too young age of 26 back in 1981. If I'm not mistaken Bill Pitcher and Bill McDonald along with his wife Kay got together and formed the band "Ghost Riders". The two McDonalds are well established in the music scene playing all over the country at some point in time and they wrote a lot of stuff too. It's been a really long time but I'm pretty sure they were nothing but hard core country music and I never saw them myself. I'm not sure but I think both of the Bills might still be doing gigs... maybe not together but separately? I don't care much for country so I haven't heard anything about either one of them in a very long time. -
160 targets for Shakir? hey why not 200! a grand total of 2 NFL WRs had 160 or more targets last year. There is no reality where he would get 160 on the Bills or any other team in the league. These extrapolation exercises are alway pointless.

Example of one of the most spectacular flame outs in NFL history with the Jets. Flamed out the whole franchise.(enjoyed it) Tomlins days might be numbered. Nicely done ; ) I see Sanders starting at some point this season... -

There is something about those Sundays in November in the Northeast once daylight savings hits that is slightly comforting but also a bummer because you know winter is coming. -
I’ve said it for years….. these rookies train hard prior to their last year of college football. Play an entire season which can be 12-14+ games. After season the immediately do senior bowl or bowl games, train harder for the combine. Training further for pro days. Then get drafted right into rookie mini camp then OTAs. I have always thought the draft should be first week of April vs last. Let them get drafted and have a solid month off prior to rookie mini camp. Just feel like for some of the higher ranked college athletes they go non stop for 16-18 months, no time off. At least the veterans in the NFL get 3-4 weeks off away from the field, light work outs, vacation etc Im saying the wear and tear of rookies due to non stop pushing adds up

I think that goes both ways. I hear commercials here in Buffalo from lawyers advertising that they can get that taken care of so you can cross the border. Don't know if Canadian legal system allows then to do that. -
Your percent seems rather low.

One needs to twist logic into a pretzel for your argument to make sense. You make the argument that stealing from Walmart is wrong because it causes a loss to someone else, but then add the distinction that illegal streaming doesn’t occur such loss by its owner. You're wrong. When people stream illegally, it lowers official viewership numbers, which directly impacts ad revenue and future broadcast contracts. That is a loss. The league makes less, players make less, etc. Yes, digital files aren’t scarce, but the value of the product depends on exclusive access. Most people make the argument of "boo hoo, big rich league", but your argument is that not that the league makes enough already - its that you doing something illegal doesn't cause them harm. Which is quite the strange argument. There is always a loss to *someone* during theft. Your argument is akin to rioters who loot stores because "Insurance will pay for it - its a win/win for everyone". But in reality, premiums are raised costing stores more, insurance takes a hit which results in job losses (look at what happened to insurance companies in Florida), etc. Theft is never free. -

The first week I started in the lab in Grad school (back in 85), the lab went to a conference on yeast genetics in Toronto. We had me, my advisor, another grad student, a lab tech (all of us American natural born citizens), and three people with green cards. Going into Canada we all had to get out of the car and the nonUS citizens went into the office at the Peace Bridge for about 19 min to have their papers inspected. Coming back at US customs. the man in the booth looked at their papers quickly and asked us why we had gone to Canada. We explained and then he asked us how many cases of beer we had in the trunk. We were perplexed at the question He said " Since you study yeast, why didn't you bring back some beer? You could have brought back a case a person duty free!😀" This part is for the people that either didn't grow up here or move when little: Back in the late 70s we have a car full of guys going to the strip clubsin Ft. Erie. At the Canadian customs, we would just say " Canadian Ballet" abd he would say "Have Fun!" -
Yeah I know it's hundredths of a second.. the first is tenths the second is hundredths.. I don't know why I called it milliseconds just cuz I wrote a paragraph and I was tired Point stands 4.46 might not be blazing fast but it is not slow . . Especially when he came out.. he had some of the fastest burst in the NFL his closing speed was elite.. you say he wasn't quick but he absolutely had some of the best closing speed at cornerback in the NFL... That's why he all prod.. he can sit 7 yd off and jump routes with elite closing burst Odell Beckham ran a 4.46 and he's not slow.. it's not blazing fast for a 5'11 boundary corner in the modern NFL but it still is not slow.. xavian Howard ran a 4.56 barely 6'.. our own Christian Benford is in 4.5s I've seen Tre White run step for step down the boundary with Tyreek hill before.. step for step.. now it's totally okay to say he's lost a step but when he came into the league he did have elite burst closing on the football which made him special for those couple of seasons That is also very true but he also gets world class training and rehab... And you just need to keep your burst for 3 to 5 seconds per play Again I'm not saying he's as fast as he was coming out but I am absolutely sticking up for him and saying he was not slow coming out of college

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
Johnny Bravo replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think what you are describing is not the issue. Of course you can have friends over to watch the game with you. Same as with PPV, etc. The prohibitions come in if you start charging people to come watch the game at your place and that scenario is covered in the agreement you sign when you subscribe. There is a separate product and pricing structure for businesses like sports bars. I think the gray area comes in with two friends who share the subscription costs. I did that years ago with a friend and I went over to his house every to watch games together. This was before streaming. Now in the streaming age we would have the option of each watching at our own home and I am not sure about the legality or morality of doing that. -
this is SIQ lmao andrea bocelli cover the prayer. awesome and after that Elton? hhmmm starts at 49 second mark

You are so dumb you think an illegal murderer is just as likely to be convicted as a native born murderer? We as a country have a 40% clearance rate for violent crime, and the clearance rate is worst in areas with large illegal immigrant populations, but I live in an area with a large population of legal immigrants and they want to keep our the illegals more than anyone else I know but I am sure they are just racist. -
He didn’t look that bad in the Divisional gm. Started, I didn't feel like he was getting picked on, I think he would've been an improvement over Rasul and def Elam in title game Keon and Kincaid are going to make this offense unstoppable

I have a much different view. Playing corner in McDermott's defense is all about, all about, knowing and executing the assignment. Very good physical ability, let alone exceptional ability, is a plus but not essential. That's why Levi Wallace could start in Buffalo, and why a player like Dane Jackson can survive on this roster. When he gets on the field, McDermott knows that Jackson will execute every play as well as he possibly can, play after play. White thrived in Buffalo because he understood and execute the defense flawlessly, and he had first-round physical ability. If he's lost a step, he's Levi Wallace, and McDermott will be happy to him on the field, because he will help anchor the defensive backfield. I don't think he's taking a spot from either Hairston or Benford, but I think he's nearly a lock for the final 53. He's almost certainly taking Jackson's spot.
