Bills asking fans to wear all white for the Pats game on Sunday

I have a white tux from 1969? -
Dang!

I don't know. Have you felt it?

What NFL world do you live in? Every head coach in the NFL does the exact same thing on their side of the ball, often to a greater extent including taking play calling for themselves.

[Question] Top 3 Players Currently In The NFL Who Deserve a SB Ring
quincy replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
Calais Campbell, Cameron Jordan and Khalil Mack are the three players that I am thinking of that are real veterans that fit this criteria the most. Marcedes Lewis is not on a roster but I don't think he has retired so he could be on this list later in the season. -

I don't disagree with you. The D needs to be better against the leagues top teams. The D is going to improve when they have a fuill compliment of starters and more expierence. However, the D that is working through the injuires, suspensions and rookies is being trashed when they are in fact playing at the level that took them to the AFC championship last year.

Reason 127 why he fell to the 5th round. The sense of entitlement runs deep. Even if Rex is an idiot, he’s paid his dues, was an accomplished NFL coach for 10-15 years and has earned the right to sound off. Shadeur has earned nothing.

I think they lose to both Houston and the Rams, to go 1-5. But their schedule after that is cottony soft, and I would not rule out 10-7, which could be good enough to win the division, or a WC.

Bills asking fans to wear all white for the Pats game on Sunday

I agree at scale, this group deserves its own traditions. It is partly why I am not hyped about the red helmets/Giants jersey's. (In addition to the current just being flat out bettter) But strong disagree on the zubaz. They can have their own without throwing out the old. Zubaz was a dead brand for a while, declaring bankuptcy in 1996. The only place you could get them through the early aughts was at Goodwill. The resurgence of the design across the NFL is in no small part due to this fan base the last 10 years. Medium strong disagree on the Shout Song. It has become as much a part of the Bills as Sweet Caroline is at Red Sox Games. People even get excited about the Isley Brothers version at weddings. -
This will probably be a close game for much of it. The Bills right now are intentionally holding some things back offensively. They don't want Allen running around and risking himself unless it's absolutely a second half emergency to get the W or close the game out. I can see the Pats trying to play like Miami did. Run the ball, control the clock and keep the Bills O off the field...., use the dump off passing game to convert short 3rd downs. Maye will use his legs a bit. When the Bills rarely beat Brady/Belichek all those years we would go in there and give NE a tough game, I expect the same.

While I’m not a fan of our D this year, I think we need to wait until November to truly have this conversation. I’m not sure if having McD call plays would necessarily benefit our team as whole. Luckily, Ryan Nielsen has experience and could step in for Babich. If we decided to make a move, I don’t think we would even fire Babich. I think we’d keep him on and hand over play calling to Nielsen, similar to what he he Jets did with Hackett last season (I know, I know). I think McD and the players like and respect Babich too much to can him outright mid season. I don’t think it was the same for Dorsey, even though the players said differently.

Hard for me to ever say his seat SHOULD be hot when the same issues span across multiple d-coordinators But also the defense just kind of has a theme. Dare the team to run the ball and bend quite a bit early. Then the office just piles up points and eventually the opposing team has to throw on you and then you force a turnover or two.

I know people are saying the sample size is too small, but I disagree. This is year 2 under Babich, and so far, it's been a disappointment. I understand that the anti-McDermott crowd will simply point to him. However, I will point to the one time he took over play calling duties from Leslie Frazier, and how it was instantly better. Calling plays on defense, is no different than calling plays on offense. It's not so much what you call, but when you call it. I'm OK with Babich stumbling his way through the reg season, as long as McDermott is willing and able to take over in the playoffs.

…and I’d bet that some of our “fans” will do just that, because they are upset and want things their way and they are sure their way is the right way.

and that is what makes this board great... if we all thought alike how boring would this be lol.... I think I elaborated on why I dont think a pass for babich is right... you do not agree... fair enough... heck I am not even pointing and saying I am right and you are wrong.... (I understand nor are you) hey I could be dead wrong here.... but I don't think I am... time will tell as it always does... thanks for the good discussion!
