  1. Past hour
  2. Fact......we have one star on this football team after 8 years of this regime. They do get credit for picking Allen. You can try to justify the WR's any way you want, but they are all mediocre. I like Shakir. He's not a #1. I about spit my drink out about your description of Palmer. This is a dude that couldn't produce in LA when they had no WR's because all of them were hurt. Of course though, people here actually thought we lost something when Hollins went to New England. Hollins blows. Of course, his 25-30 catch average number of catches fit right in here. Because after all, everybody eats. But on this team, everyone is anorexic, because they all are mediocre at best. We have one star after 8 years. One. Fact. This is a 3-4 win team without Allen.
  3. I think after Sunday who is giving up anything for RVD?
  4. FFS, the guy accounted for more INTs than JA threw all of last season when he was gone. As long as there are ABSOLUTELY no option routes on his dimly lit tree, I guess it’s ok.
  5. I was exaggerating for extending credit for past accomplishments. They have not been a top 10 team in awhile. The ACC is just too weak to credit that has some major accomplishment. They’re basically South Carolina at this point. A team that can be top 20 and can also stink it up. Not close to a top 10, those SEC schools would run them as the better ones have.
  6. Probably. 😂
  7. They used the Justin Jefferson 1st round pick to get Diggs.
  8. or a shot at Beane…”Get me some damn players!!!”
  9. Judging guys' capabilities on past production just shows there's a difference between math and football. If we signed Jerry Rice, would he immediately be the best WR on the team? 🤷‍♂️
  10. Me too DTV always gave me discounts and other perks.
  11. It’s my interpretation. If he felt they had a problem that only going outside the organization would resolve he wouldn’t be saying essentially that publicly 3 weeks before the season starts. This actually makes me confident they have a solution - whether it’s Hancock or Bishop.
  12. After looking at the film (gave up on Sunday before the first half ended), if it was McBeane's plan to showcase players in such a horrible light that no other team will be interested in them when they get cut, then I would call that MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
  13. Socialism works best in small homogeneous cultures. You have to have more people contributing than taking. A good "simple" example of this is social security. It's the best example of socialism you will find, but it still screws over everyone in the long run.
  14. Bishop is lost out there. No feel for the game. Call we say BUST yet?
  15. What r u talking about? Nebraska hasn’t been relevant in nearly 30 years. Different coach, different recruiting era etc…. Clemson, who I agree with hasn’t been great in recent years, still has the same head coach and has remained relevant by winning the ACC every year but two in the last decade. PS I‘m a GA fan and IU alum.
  16. This ^. We can debate all we want, but NFL salaries will tell you what coaches/GMs think are most important.
  17. They have great players on D — elite DEs and elite CBs. I am not sold on their offense, though. I *think* they’re the best team in that division, but they also don’t inspire a ton of faith in me. I thought Stroud, who I like, was fairly mediocre last season. He was great as a rookie. Jax has a lot of talent too, but it just seems like none of the teams can take it to the next level. Then a couple of injuries happen and teams are fighting for a 10-7 division crown.
  18. If so, would Gabe immediately be the 2nd best WR on the team? In terms of actual NFL production, yeah.
  19. The Giants defense, especially their DL, is pretty good. If they get better QB play, from either Wilson or Dart, they might do better than expected. I've been impressed with Dart's play. He seems to have that "it" that separates the good QBs from the merely competent ones. Their slow starts are simply excuses. They weren't a very good team, despite playing a last place schedule. They lost to the Commanders 33-38, the Ravens 38-41, the Ravens again 34-35, and the Steelers 38-44. Last season, twelve games into the season they were 4-8, meaning they went 4-5 after starting 0-3 before managing to win their last 5 games. I think that Taylor's toast if the Bengals lose Hendrickson. Their defense was awful last season (see above), and all they really changed for 2025 was firing DC Anaruno, although they did add some defensive rookies in the draft. I'm not sure that the Colts won't get the first pick even with Jones as their QB. He's pretty bad. I haven't seen Richardson or Jones play in pre-season, so I don't know how bad they are. My guess is that it's six of one/half dozen the other.
  20. They have oline issues and no receivers.
  21. One was signed by Whaley, the other signed by Beane.
  22. He may have been the best player, but there were at least half dozen guys in front of him that were far more important to the outcome of the play on any given snap.
  23. you want a nice white population huh? Kinda nazi of you
  24. Houston is going to be excellent. Their defense is going to be top 3 or top 5.
