  1. Past hour
  2. I think you did a great job nailing the bad night players. In a night where there was so little good or hard to pick any positives there were a handful of players that were atrocious. The 5 you listed were really really bad. I would like to just add Hamlin. My concern is I’m used to looking like weakest link on field with starters but when he’s in there against backups and still sticking out with poor play that’s not good. Also don’t have anything positive to say about Dane Jackson and that’s not surprising because by almost any grade he’s one of the worse corners in league.
  3. Man I hope that’s not the standard now for what we look for at safety.
  4. As my wife noted last night the players looked tired (Saw Bosa yawning on the sideline and M.White yawn on the field) They looked bored, and they looked like they'd rather be anywhere other than right there right then. Robbins made the team ... No one else did... 24, 74, 44, 43 & 29 looked particularly bad. Maybe the practices with the Bears were good but last night other than Robbins making the team the only other things they could've possibly learned was how bad they are at Safety without Rapp, where was Forrest ?
  5. This is simply not true. He wants a LOT of money. Rather than saying the cap doesn’t matter, show me a path to getting there, bearing in mind the restructures they’ve already done to get under the cap.
  6. Yup I tried to say the same thing in the thread but no one wants to hear it. The Bears literally had veterans of the NFL who started games like Bagent, Bates etc playing in the game with high upside guys like Burden and Austin Booker in the game versus guys who won’t be here in two weeks . Even starting the game there was a very heavy rotation of bottom of the roster guys playing versus their starters. Bishop and Hamlin were bad but it’s kind of hard to be good when Andreessen was awful in Coverage and Jenkins was the other starting LB who won’t make the team etc
  7. Moore ain’t getting cut. Might not look great but he’s gonna get some playing time. Two years ago most of this team had Shakir getting cut
  8. Not panicking at all. Just an observation that teams might be seeing an opening for the shorter, quicker routes against our D.
  9. Ok hear me out... go wishbone on Offense. Just sayin...
  10. They won't cut Bishop but if starts we're in trouble.... haven't seen enough of Foster... he may be the answer thus season, Hancock ready to move in next season.
  11. You’re right about Hardy. He is buried on the depth chart. Iirc Couch was dinged up in practice earlier in the week. Don’t know if he was in the joint practice with the Bears.
  12. The problem is as athletes, put guys got the crap best put of them. They didn't win ther 1 on 1's very often at all.
  13. if you cut anyone its Dane Jackson
  14. Bill Belichick. He would build a defense that would actually make a stop in a big spot which is something that never happens in McDermott land.
  15. "I am not the sort to panic over a couple preseason games but..." *Proceeds to panic over a couple preseason games*
  16. To me, it looked like the Bills were trying to evaluate bottom of the 53 roster spots the entire game. As you pointed out above, some good individual performances and too much bad.
  17. Well staying in Buffalo this offseason didn't seem to help
  18. The Bills had no desire to do anything last night. There were multiple times they were playing the Leslie Frazier off coverage on 3rd and 3 or playing press man cover 1 and there were about 4 or 5 times they ran a basic zone blitz where they dropped D lineman into coverage and left them on an island. They wanted to try things last night and put it on film
  19. Wait until next week when they play the Bucs. These teams meet in the regular season, so I expect both teams to have a very "vanilla" game plan for this one.
  20. I don't care about your opinion. Go away.
  21. I beg of you, for the sake of all that's holy, please confine the mentioning of John Prine to music threads!
  22. Justin Simmons is available and he would help.
  23. What new system? Nothing out of camp has suggested anything new. Oh that's right, McDermott has his own alternate universe pocket where he take the defense at night and trains the new defense.
  24. I think one big factor is Buffalo's weather reputation. You can put a dome in, but who wants to schedule a winter event when there's a real risk of no one being able to get there or get out through feet of snow? Syracuse gets more snow but Buffalo and snow are more ingrained in the national psyche. I do think if they had built downtown or closer to the Falls it would have been a dome, optimally by the Falls. A lot easier to sell an event there, especially with Toronto closer. Ok, l appreciate your perspective. 👍 Haslam is putting in an entire community there. Condos/apartments and retail. Part of why he left the lakefront, I suspect.
  25. Why didn't we just resign Hollins, who had chemistry with Josh and was productive?
